Greg is a great guy and goes the extra mile to make sure your plumbing needs are done, 100%. I've never had an issue with work not being completed as proposed. Cost and schedule is always dead on. I recommend Petersen Plumbing Services 100%!! read more

Greg is exceptional! I had a leaky toilet, and because I was leaving town for a week, he came by the same day. He's professional, energetic, and clearly takes pride in his work. There was no upselling, hassle, or waiting. He even helped me identify the exact replacement part, which cost just $8, and encouraged me to purchase it myself. He told me to call once I had it, and he would return to install it. I'm so glad I found Petersen Plumbing and will definitely use them for all my future plumbing needs. You simply don't get this level of personal service from large companies that have been acquired by private equity firms. The last time I called one of those companies (that use to be one of our locally-owned shops), they told me I needed to buy an entirely new toilet for the same issue Greg fixed in under an hour. read more

I have used Greg from Petersen plumbing since we moved here in 2002, it's no wonder that he always wins plumber of the year in the Nevada appeal contest. He sure knows what he's doing and I can tell you he's probably the friendliest plumber in town. I don't care what he's doing. He can have his head stuck down in a hole or be working with your toilet and he's still smiling. I've had to call him a few times with small emergencies like leaking water and things like that and he takes the time to come right over, it's not the biggest job for him, but he knows since my husband passed away There are so many things that I can't do by myself. I highly recommend him, he is so well known in the area. He doesn't really even need a review but I figured it's been five years and I wanted to update it. Very happy with his service and he makes a stuffed toilet fun if that's possible. read more

Greg Petersen is a great person and plumber. He talked me through a fix on a Sunday without charge, he then stopped by to fix an outside faucet leak. It took him more time to get to the faucet than repair it. He is very knowledgeable and very reasonable. He also gave us a discount when he replaced our toilets. read more

Used him twice in the last 18 months. He is knowledgable and helpful and has q stocked truck. He was out of town when we needed him once and I had to call another outfit. Not stocked and I had to pay for him to go shopping! Call Greg Peterson! read more

Once you are a customer of Greg's, he will take care of you. If he's out of town or too busy, not only will he refer you to someone else, but he will follow up to make sure everything went well. Some people say he's too pricey, But what they don't understand is that Greg works quickly and doesn't bullshit. He's the best! read more

Met the owner for the first time today and was very impressed with his honesty and his service. Greg is a "stand-up guy".

check valve replacement was done quickly and efficiently. Greg was amenable and real pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Greg is a great guy and a great plumber. Had him do several jobs and would definitely recommend.

Greg is great! He is honest and his pricing is more than fair and does what he says he is going to do. He does not need a crew to do the work required, he is a one-man crew that can knock out more work in an hour than any 3 man crew in the West. I just wish I had an electrician with his capabilities! read more

I had Greg Petersen remove the old water heater and install a new one. He did a great job as always. He even went above and beyond to figure out how to connect to the old electric hook up so I did not have to call an electrician. He was prompt, on time, professional, personable and had a very good price. I would use his company again and do recommend him. read more

Petersen Plumbing is your best bet- from run of the mill clogged toilets to more complex jobs, Greg is your guy. He's at the top of his game and he's responsive, excellent customer service with very fair pricing and he's great at helping problem solve to get you the right solution. He really came through for us when two other plumbing services couldn't address the issue we had- issue is now 100% resolved, perfectly. read more

Best Plumbing Company on the West Coast. Efficient kind helpful experience efficient.Huge in life as well as customer service......

Our circulating pump decided to just quit on us and it was taking a huge amount of time and water to get our hot water to the outer reaches of our home. We contacted Petersen Plumbing Services through Yelp and Greg responded within an hour. We scheduled him to come out and replace the pump and our 20-year-old water heater and he did a fantastic job at a fair price, and even came out a day earlier than we anticipated. I highly recommend this company and great guy! read more

Greg is responsive and reliable. He is a one-person business and was very communicative and trustworthy with me. Appreciate his help!

Greg Petersen is the real deal, the best of the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greg and his service to anyone. You cannot ask for a more reliable, honest, experienced and knowledgeable plumber who goes above and beyond to solve problems at a fair price, all with a smile on their face! After quickly and efficiently solving our somewhat unusual sink leakage issue, Greg is our new 'go to' plumber who we will now keep on speed dial. Thank you, Greg, for setting the highest standard of integrity in the industry! read more

When your hot water heater goes down, especially in the winter, it is darn. Eat an emergency. I knew Greg through mutual acquaintances so I decided to try out his service. called him Thursday morning and the first thing that impressed me was his work phone message said to leave a detailed message and he'd callback the next business day. He further stated if it is an emergency to call his cell phone, and supplied the number. Greg called me the next morning, discussed the issue and he says he will order the part and try to get it installed today. Fast Forward to 1:30 pm and we have hot water. Greg is professional, personable and price is fair. He has a great customer centric work ethic and I highly recommend his service. read more

Greg has been our plumber for over a decade, he is extremely reliable and we use him for our home and business. I loathe plumbing issues and Greg always fits us into his schedule even if it means a longer day for him.. everyone knows when plumbing is involved, it's an emergency! I love his sense of humor while he is busy working away at our plumbing issue, great work and entertainment at the same time?! Thanks Greg for all you do! read more

Petersen plumbing was fantastic from beginning to end! I had a horrible plumber come prior who tried to take me for $32,000! Mr. Peterson showed up quickly, solved the problem with a smile on his face & took care of everything! Their prices are as fantastic as their service! I highly recommend them and will call no other plumber! read more

Greg has been our plumber since we moved to Carson City the fall of 2019. He has done a wide variety of work for us on several occasions as we have been renovating our house here before and after we moved in. He has replaced our pressure regulator for the house, installed several new toilet flanges and rings, repiped our gas line to accommodate our new stove, installed sinks and faucets and helped to reconfigure a tub to a large stand up shower. Greg is always super nice and always willing to explain options and provide a recommendation. When we have a plumbing issue or question, we call Greg and know the job will get done right. read more

Greg's voicemail says he will call back in 24 hours (but offers his cell if it's an emergency). I left a message and he called back the next morning. I described the problem (bathtub and toilet weren't draining) and he gave me some steps to troubleshoot. After doing what he recommended and narrowing where the problem could be, he offered some steps to fix it or offered to come out. I tried what he recommended and it fixed the problem. Thanks Greg! read more

This fellow worked on two projects for us. One he never got back to so we got a different plumber. The other was a gas line install and the gas pressure was almost nonexistent. He refused to come back and check it unless we paid for a service call. He is also, in my opinion, an egotistical jerk. He also refused to wear a mask during COVID. read more

Greg is amazing. We were having our floors taken out when my brother in law hit one of the pipes for the floor board heater and punctured it and then the main valve broke when he tried to shut off the water. Greg was able to come out the next morning and fix the broken valve and fix the pipe that was punctured all for a decent price. I couldn't recommend Petersen plumbing enough, definitely the first company I would call when I need a job done. read more

Outstanding service! Greg did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him, and we will definitely call him for any future needs. All the work was completed thoroughly and Greg was polite, professional, friendly and courteous. read more

Five stars! What started out as a simple hook-up for a new washing machine turned into a plumbing problem. Called Greg and he not only professionally fixed the plumbing issue, did an awesome job putting the sheetrock back in and also hooked up my new washer! Great job, great price - I highly recommend. read more

We had a plumbing issue today and Greg was already booked solid. He spent time with my wife on the phone to try to troubleshoot the issue. He referred us to another plumber and told my wife to call or text him to make sure we got our issue fixed. Even though he wasn't able to do our plumbing, he gave outstanding service. Thanks Greg! read more

Although Greg could not service my area, he took the time to call me and explain why. I wish him all the best going forward

Greg is fabulous! He's honest, reliable, and provides excellent services! If you have an emergency he will make you his top priority! On top of that he's reasonable! Great guy & I wouldn't use anyone else! read more

We had PPS replace two shower controls. We had to remove some tile to do so, and coordinate his work with a drywall specialist. The timing worked well and his communication was great. And for the life of me, I can't distinguish where the tile was removed and replaced. Really clean work. read more

Greg is by far the best plumber we have ever hired. Our water heater gas valve went out and not only did he take my call why he was on vacation but advised me on steps I could do in the meantime to expidite the process. As soon as he got back he came right over ( at 8pm by the way when most plumbers wont come out or charge you emergency fees) and fixed our water heater. He also gave me advice for what I can expect If I choose to upgrade my water heater in the future. I appreciated his honesty and work ethic. Thanks a lot Greg you do great work! read more

Would have liked to at least talked to Greg in person. Waited 2 weeks to get an appointment at my house. Drove 2 hrs to get there early to make sure I would be on time. At my scheduled appt time I called to see if we still had an appt. Greg said he would call me right back. 1hr and 45 min later he called back. Don't know how much longer I would have had to wait to get the work actually done, but I guess I won't find out as I have hired another company that came to my house in 2 days and will have the work done in 1 week. Greg either needs to hire more help or not take on so much work. read more

I don't want to see my plumber often... but I sure want a good one when I need one and Greg Peterson has been that around these parts for many, many years. Polite, professional and a guy who handles business quickly and efficiently is what you'll get. Super plumbing services!!! read more

As a maintenance manager for two apartment complexes, I had nothing but bad experiences with this plumber. Both times I fired this guy from being on our contractor list. I subsequently hired tech plumbing which did very professional work. I understand other reviews, where Greg used condescending behavior and language, it part of his nature. Peterson plumbing has always been the highest priced per hour, with the lowest quality of work. If you use this plumber always ask for a quote indicating the rate per hour you wil be charged. Then check around and you'll find much lower prices, and I guarantee, much better work. Take it from a person who has been using contract plumbers for over 30 years. He will also guarantee nothing, so will be stuck with what he does. Don't use him is my advice. read more

Greg is hands down the best plumber around! I have been underwhelmed by most services since living in Carson for almost a decade, so to say I found my plumber means a lot. He is very responsive and goes out of his way to fix things in a timely manner. Very friendly, personable, professional, and reasonably priced. We just had a garbage disposal leak last week that caused water damage throughout the house. I left a message late Friday and he called me first thing Monday morning and squeezed me into his day. He fixed the garbage disposal and did a few extras we have been wanting done. He also calls be my name and remembers me even after not seeing him for over a year. Something that isn't experienced often. It means a lot to me that he remembers me and doesn't treat me like a number. Because of this I'm not surprised that he is so busy and has accumulated such a high bank of customers. Highly recommended! read more

Greg is awesome had him come out to one of our facilities. He came in, did what he had to do and off on his way he was. He seems like a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. read more

The control valve on my shower/tub combo was shot and I couldn't shut the water off. OH NO!! So I turned the whole-house system off at the pressure tank and called Greg. It's the Monday after Mother's Day and there were several other urgent calls for his services but Greg cheerfully assured me that he would squeeze me in. He certainly came through. Not only was the shower/tub valve replaced promptly, but Greg also took the time to look at AND repair FIVE other minor but annoying plumbing problems in my home...all in an hour and 15 minutes! Greg was prompt, friendly, professional and quick...all at at fee that was kind to my checkbook. I will definitely use his services again and recommend him to my friends and neighbors. read more

Excellent customer service! Made time for my plumbing issues at the earliest convenience, even though he was already busy, and worked with me to figure out what my plumbing issues were. Really helped in figuring a lot of my house plumbing and went above and beyond to make sure my plumbing was fix. Great guy, with an awesome attitude, incredibly knowledgeable, and a lovely personality. Thank you, Greg, for getting our plumbing fix! read more

If i could give Greg 6 stars i would! We had a gas small coming from our brand new hot water heater and had been out of hot water for a few days. Greg took my call at 9:30am and by 12:00pm was at my house -even with a completely full schedule. He really took the time to figure out where the problem was coming from and was even willing to let me watch and showed me what was causing the problem. Great attitude, great work, great price. Best of all - no more gas smell! I know who to call if we ever have a plumbing problem again! Thank you so much, Greg! read more
