You go up to the counter and choose from an array of bagels, wraps, or sandwiches. They offer a lot of vegan options and substitutions so any dietary restrictions can be met. The prices are affordable and the quality of the food is phenomenal. What sets this place apart from other bagel places is that you can get your bagel scooped. Meaning they will take the extra bits of the bagels out so that you'll have room for more fillings, cream cheese, and anything else your heart desires. I decided to order a whole wheat everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. I decided to add a couple of the free add-ons, and the bagel was thic and filling. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed. It took about 15 minutes to get the food, but given the amount of other patrons, the wait was justified. Can't seem to get any orders correct. Didn't toast my bagel as asked, put cheese on my sister's VEGAN entree and then wanted to question her about it. We all clearly heard her request NO CHEESE. Complained that my mask was only covering the tip of my nose, yet an employee walked through the kitchen and then up front With her mask under her chin and hugged all the employees, obviously breaking the 6' social distancing guidelines. The place is colorful with a painted mural along an entire wall and has an easy to read menu behind the counter. The food is prompt and so good. Neat location, great outside mural, friendly service...but I'm sorry, they're only decent bagels. I ordered an egg, sausage, and cheddar sandwich on a toasted poppyseed bagel for breakfast. First of all major props for using real eggs on their sandwiches. Just by looking at it, there's no doubt that eggs are getting cracked in that kitchen. I got two slices of cheddar, I only wish they were melted a little bit. And the OJ was served in plastic cartons, but it tasted great. Unfortunately, so many of the seeds had fallen off the bagel that it looked like a plain bagel had decided to go hanging out with the poppyseed club for a few minutes. And the taste, well, they're okay. But as a NY and NJ native, I know a real bagel when I taste one and this just lacked that extra bit of bite and outside crunch that a great bagel has. I'll put it this way, a bagel should not look totally smooth on the outside. You know those little tiny blisters on the outside of a good bagel? Didn't see them here. After a couple of great visits I would love to share my experiences. The location is about as central Ghent as you can get which is a positive. Parking however is a negative when busy on the weekends. There is parking in the front, rear and side. Other than that I'm unsure where else you can park legally. My first visit was a breakfast visit around 9 AM and they were busy, but not mobbed. However, that changed by the time I left at 10 AM. A few tables were not cleared and cleaned and the place was around 75% capacity. There are two booths by the window, the rest is table and chairs. Not a big place, but they do a lot of take out. On both occasions counter service was friendly and helpful when selecting items. My second visit was a weekday mid-morning breakfast. No issues with parking or seating at all. All tables cleared and the floors were tidy. This is a self bus place. The menu is pretty huge and you can customize your item right down to the types of cheeses and wraps. First visit was a breakfast beef burrito with American cheese. It was really yum. I also ordered a coffee which was passable, nothing special. The coffee is served in two sizes and only to go cups which is a pet peeve. My second visit I ordered an egg white omelette with provolone cheese and spinach wrap. It was also very strong, I would order that again the next time I come in probably. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it. Restrooms are in the back. Two of them and they are unisex. I found them to be spacious and clean, but don't expect fancy. They are about as dull as you get, but everything functioned with proper supplies. I'm a fan and will get back to see them. However, with the coffee being weak in my opinion I don't see myself being a regular. read more

I normally come here for a delicious lunch, especially their vegan options. It's unbeatable compared to the places around Ghent. With $10, you can usually get anything on the menu. However, today was not a good experience, for my pockets and my appetite. I decided to get a Greek salad today with chicken to go with it. So instead of your typical salad with your choice of meat, they decided to throw a scoop of chicken salad on top of my Greek salad. This got worse for a surcharge of $3.50, on top of the $8 salad as is. I'm not sure if the cashier knew what he was doing, but c'mon? Couldn't even finish it, tasted like a clump of leftover food. Definitely not worth the money and costing my appetite. If I come here again, I'm solely sticking to their sandwich options, which is why the two stars. read more

First time trying their vegan Philly and im not disappointed it was slightly a little to salty, but overall good. Im not vegan but I eat vegan foods sometimes. If I wasn't thinking about what I was eating it was hard to tell the difference. When I arrived, they had a rope in front of the register to help with maintaining space between the cashier and customer. The cashier provided good recommendations as I wanted to try something vegan. The food didn't take long to come out, and I was able to sit outside at one of their tables and eat. I also think it is great that they have free bagels no questions asked. Their menu might come off a little overwhelming because of the endless options you have from the sandwiches, to the bagels, to the cream cheese and all the vegan options that are available. However, that just gives you a reason to come back and try something new. Which is exactly what I will be doing. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was so juicy! The wrap is deceiving because it appears small, but it's jammed packed with ingredients, so don't be surprised when theres some chicken falling out after the first bites. They have a great variety of drinks, ranging from soda to carrot juice. The restaurant is clean and well managed when it comes to prevent the spread of covid, no mask, no entry. Oh man, it's been a while since I've found a bagel place this good. We've been 3 times in 3 weeks, for both breakfast and lunch. It's usually pretty busy but the line moves fast and food comes out quickly. There's a nice bar space upstairs that seems to be a hotspot for Sunday brunch, but you can also just take your bagel sandwich up there. Favorite so far has probably been the chocolate chip bagel with the Reese's peanut butter cream cheese spread. Mmmm. read more

Yorgo"s makes me always feel like I am back up north (Philly) at one of my old Bagel spots. With the exception of being a little overpriced, I really enjoy every visit. We had a Chicken Salad Sandwich on Challa Bread and I had the Cream Cheese & Lox on a Everything Bagel. We also had two small coffees and it cost about $23. Everything tasted good and quality with freshness makes me still wanting to overlook the price. Such a great spot to eat and have coffee. I would say this year this has been my most visited spot. So much so that I even wrote a paper on the place and their business style for an assignment. To top it off, this place is crowded - and not necessarily with the nicest clientele. We witnessed almost two all out fist fights while waiting in line for my subpar bagel. When a pregnant woman and a four year old are clearly waiting for a table, maybe the four 20-something hipsters could not push us out of the way to claim a table? Manners. Geez. Overall, not impressed. I probably won't be back. The space is a bit limited and it was really crowded while we were there, but I dug it. It gave the place an energetic, vibrant feeling like it was a living organism. It's an order counter, and the place is on the small side, so order quick because finding a seat is like Hunger Games! They also sell take home portions of their wide variety of cream cheese's. Yorgo's kills it every time. Whether you want a breakfast sandwich or a lunch item or weather you're vegan, vegetarian or full on carnivore, you will not be disappointed. The first few times I went I was stuck on breakfast, bc of course bagels = breakfast. Every bagel I've had is delicious, the everything bagel, sourdough, and pumpernickel are my favorites. As an herbivore myself, I have to say the vegan sausage is something made of magic. My meat eating husband even prefers it over the regular breakfast sausage they have. It's so good and seasoned just right. They have tons of cream cheese choices that I feel as if I could never try them all but the one I have had, and continue to have is the jalapeño cream cheese. That ish is sooooo good. It has humongous chunks of pickled jalapeño and they always put a generous amount on my bagels. The star of this story though... the vegan buffalo chicken wrap. I think they use garden chicken? Idk but regardless of what they use, it's how they cook and season it that makes it so delicious. I always get it in a wrap and it comes with lettuce, onion, tomato? I think. But the buffalo yumminess and veganese they use keeps me craving this wrap constantly. I'm always greeted with kindness and I love that staff is pretty diverse and cool. My favorite associate is Cully, and he deserves a specific shoutout bc he is always smiling and is so sweet. He *always* finds something to compliment and I know it's genuine admiration. OMG is an understatement - more like the angels sang with every bite. My first time there visiting my ODU daughter in Ghent and I am hooked. I had the Inside Out omelette on an everything whole wheat bagel and I swear I've never had something so delicious. And it was huge. And it was cheap. And the shop was just an all around good vibes atmosphere. Wins all around. I absolutely cannot wait to go back ... tempted to just move right on in to Yorgo's PLUS they have plenty of vegan options - my daughter is a strict vegan and LOVES it here... ty for giving her a great place to eat :D read more
