I don't remember the exact things but at the time I was impressed with what I saw and decided at that time that this is a restaurant I must try in my near future. So here I am. They are open Friday-Sunday. If you call the phone number listed for them the message states their exact hours for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The service is really welcoming. The waitress/bartender is very friendly and answered questions I had before ordering. It's definitely a clean restaurant with big windows that surround the dining room, with a view of the water and boats. It doesn't feel like I'm just on a quick lunch break, I feel like I'm somewhere else then stockton. Maybe because I didn't even realize all this was so close and just down 8mile Rd. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Having the option of eating outside on a beautiful day sounds great actually. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich with Fry's and ranch dressing. This is absolutely one of the best lunches I've had in a while. The meat was juicy and flavourful. The bread was soft and the fry's were fresh cut fry's. They were thin yet bigger like steak fry's and were the best I've had ever. Those alone are worth visiting this restaurant! I'll be back for sure to try more of their food. If it's anything like my lunch then I'm becoming a fast regular customer of theirs!

I had Steak and Eggs and my wife had the fisherman's breakfast, two pancakes eggs and Ham. It was a 3/4 inch thick slab of ham. Our server was very nice and greeted us at the door. Very attentive. It was well worth it. The brunch was a buffet. I've never had Eggs Benedict in a buffet that worked, but theirs did. The muffin was well toasted and the yokes soft and runny, as it should be. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, fruit, potatoes, and grilled asparagus. All of it delicious. The mimosas were flowing, and the place was full. All hands on deck. Our server was Stacy. Stacy kept the coffee coming, and whatever else we wanted to drink. She was friendly, and fun. The owner Kevin, was accommodating and friendly. "What a fun place," I kept telling my son. We sat at the bar, since it was just the two of us. There was several large groups, that kept the servers hoping, and room full of cheer. My son says its a busy place in the evenings. We have never got offered free drinks or anything complimentary for attracting a crowd or bringing friends. Everywhere else, this is usual when attracting customers for a bar. Too much staff... It is not POC friendly. I have heard almost everyone I know complain about the demographics and the bad music. I also see alot of DL men hovering by the bar in bulk so I am guessing it may be catered to them they tend to by the most drinks. I have had many friends there make the same statement. Overall, just leave this one alone and go to Islanders. More POC, more diversity in staff, no awkward fake moments with the Owner (who is as uptight as they come), and more fun people. They scam and play a couple fo songs so you buy buy buy and leave without dancing or if you do its to 50 cent and Lil John like you in 8th grade Bad business.... Trust me. I dance all the time. One waitress to serve the floor, so super slowwwwwwwww service, ordered drinks and food, my first drink came in a glass the second one was in a plastic cup (wth? ) and it had a red stain on the rim, the waitress explained is was from some sort of mixture they rim the cups with, a question came to my head that if you knew that why would you serve that to a customer, no replacement was offered or asked for, didnt trust the drink after that, just left it untouched. We also ordered some of these meatball appetizers, which tasted horribly over cooked we ate one each and left the rest. Ordered the flatiron steak sandwich and fries , fries were cold , even though they are the type coated to keep them warm, it seemed it was just left out to long or the fries were just what they had left. I commented to my friend Walnut Creek is suppose to offer better restaurants, and this one was not one of them.

Melissa, the owner, could not have been more welcoming. She shared that she and her husband are UOP grads themselves, which made the visit feel even more special given why we were in town. The food was outstanding. The pork schnitzel sandwich was cooked perfectly: crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The deviled eggs were some of the best we've had in a long time, creamy with just the right kick. It's clear this is a place run with real pride, and it means a lot to support a local, family-run spot like this in Lodi, especially one with such genuine UOP roots. If you're ever dropping off (or picking up) a Tiger, make time to stop in. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to campus.

The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. So this year because of Covid-19. Everything in Stocktanistan, CA has been shut down for a Koo minute. Places started opening up here and there. So one of my cousins hit me up. It was Taco Tuesday. My cuzo Marky Mark hit me up. Told me about this bar and a taco truck right in front. He told me it was Taco Tuesday dollar tacos and the tacos are on fire. So get out the house. Now yer bOi V to the D. Has been on that hermit status for a few years. I've been doing that stay at home, before it was a thing. Plus rocking the facemasks for years, before it was a thing too. Look at my Yelp profile pics for proof, if you're questioning it. Yer Boi VD, always one step ahead. My life has been changing and I was improving myself. So it was a big step for me to get out the crib. Note; The hut was my safe place. So I said to myself, "Let's do this". I rolled up and the bouncer asked me for my ID. I didn't have my ID I left it in the car. I didn't think I was going to get carded so that's why I left it but I wasn't tripping. The bouncer was doing his job. I rolled back up showed the bouncer my ID. Rocking my mask. He asked me if I was Gucci I told that guy I'm super Gucci. I walked in and there was tents everywhere. With chairs and lots of people. We had a pretty good time drinking modelos and having tacos. Now on this visit we couldn't go inside the bar but we didn't trip because we're outside. Now for the tacos there's a taco truck outside. The Weeknd "I feel it coming" this was the first song that the special Woman in my life sent me. I immediately started thinking of her. So I decided to roll up after work. I had my ID on me this time. I showed the bouncer and it was all good and I just walked in. Inside of the bar was open this time. It was pretty cool to see people inside the bar. To me it seemed like everybody was having a good time. That's what's up and that's what matters. I saw my brother-in-law ordering some drinks at the bar. So I chilled with him. I didn't drink this night all I ordered was water. So we waited at the bar for our drinks. Now I won't lie it took a little bit of time. Even for the change. But it was all good. My brother-in-law and I walked outside. I saw my cousin Marky Mark. Fun fact: Marky Mark is my favorite cousin. But in Truth, I love him like if he is my little brother. Love you foo. We walked outside and sat at our table. I handed my cousin his drink. He mentioned about the girl in my life. So I showed my brother-in-law a picture of her and told him about her. I really love talking about her always. Because she means that much too me.
