Even when we asked for ranch and tater sauce on the side. We ordered a double cheese burger, large onion rings, and a medium drink. When we pulled up, my wife saw the pictures for their shakes and wanted a strawberry shake. The lady at the counter added it to our order, no problem. The burger was huge! We shared it and barely finished it. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. Not those heavy greasy kind some places make. The strawberry shake stole the show! I really wish we took a picture of it. It was delicious and looked it! We will stop in again for the food and the shakes. It looks like a family run place, as some reviews noted, it is a little old and run down. It did look pretty clean. In the kitchen, and that's where it counts. It's an old diner. The lady sitting in the booth behind us seemed like a regular. We ordered our food and it was super fresh and quite delicious. An older gentleman seated us but I'm guessing it was either his daughter or possibly a granddaughter that took our order. She was sweet as pie. We have never got offered free drinks or anything complimentary for attracting a crowd or bringing friends. Everywhere else, this is usual when attracting customers for a bar. Too much staff... It is not POC friendly. I have heard almost everyone I know complain about the demographics and the bad music. I also see alot of DL men hovering by the bar in bulk so I am guessing it may be catered to them they tend to by the most drinks. I have had many friends there make the same statement. Overall, just leave this one alone and go to Islanders. More POC, more diversity in staff, no awkward fake moments with the Owner (who is as uptight as they come), and more fun people. We've been living in Lodi since 2016 and I have never stepped foot in this place. Rumors were it wasn't great so I never thought to pop in. It was taken over by a super sweet guy and his long term girlfriend about a year and a half ago. We had the pleasure of meeting them yesterday while we sat at the bar for a glass of wine and of course, chicken wings. When I tell you, these were the BEST Wings I've had in a long time, I mean it. The place is adorable, the bar is great and they're going to start serving alcohol (liquor license just came through) in October!! We love supporting local and this couple is doing it right.
