The amount of food was a lot and the price was decent. I couldn't finish my meal. There was a whole plate of steak and veggies with two scoops of rice. I also got a miso soup and side salad with my meal. The miso soup was decent. And the side salad was a small bowl of lettuce, which was what you'd expect. I enjoyed my food with all their sauces but probably liked their ginger sauce the best. The meat was cooked as requested, medium rare. Rice was "fried rice" but not like the fried rice I'm used to--just seemed like seasoned rice, but I wasn't heart broken about that. There were lots of tables and the check out was easy enough. No complaints here.

A great week night dinner spot when you don't feel like cooking and faster/more inexpensive than driving to Greensboro to have "cook in front if you" Japanese. It's also just as good IMO. Their wait staff is usually a pretty young crowd (high school/teenage kids) but we've never left feeling like the service was bad. And our food is always good. Steak and shrimp cooked perfectly with mounds of fluffy rice. They have also added an array of sushi as of late that is great in flavor and price. Definitely worth a try if you live in the area and haven't been by in a while!

Now, I will say that I am not the biggest fan of pho and do not order it often, as ramen is my one true love in terms of soups. Nonetheless, I order the combination pho with multiple types of meat. The owner brought out my to-go order after about 10 min. He told me to try the broth and seemed very proud of it. So, when I sat down to eat, I did just that, I tried just the broth alone first. Wow, I was amazed by the depth of flavor. There was no mistaking that this was legit pho. It came with the typical add-ons of basil, onions, cilantro, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, and noodles. I finished the entire meal and wanted more. Worth the price and I will definitely be going back to get this more often.

The normal guy went part time and he was always friendly. It's something about "paying" for something and the person doesn't even just greet you or say hi or thank you! Lunch portions come with a spring roll or 3 maki and drink. What a steal! It came out fast, too. It was my 1st time. Its quaint but open air with another side room and bar in back. The food was OK. Traditional flavors but the Tso was too thick for me. I wasnt a fan but he was. So, its definitely based on preference. I prefer thinner sauce that lightly coats the chicken vs something thick. The Hibatchi was seasoned well, I just wasn't a fan of the large sized veggies. They were undercooked due to their size. Again, personal preference. The staff was professional, polite and fast. No issues whatsoever. We were in a time crunch, so we opted to get water to go on initial order and she topped us off before we left.
