As far as I can tell, this is an old ad and this place does not even exist anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The owner had everyone in mind when it came to the food. There's a drink menu for kids and even something for the dogs . I ordered the coconut curry salmon . It was good . It lacked flavor, but I appreciated it for not being overly salty. My favorite meal was the avocado nachos. I have thought of them since my first time eating them. It is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. Ask long as it's offered I will always order it . The parking was a bit tight behind the house . When I arrived , I was very lucky to get the last spot . However , I noticed other patrons were parking next to the Root Canal office . It was an open area that appeared to be a makeshift parking area. There was outdoor seating, by which I saw quite a few people seating there . It looked cozy and no one seemed uncomfortable. As it was my first time there. I elected to eat inside. It wasn't a bad experience, but the home is very small . I can imagine it being congested . But I was there early on a Sunday . Will I eat here again ? Yes !

EVERYTHING was good but hands down, the cheesesteak is still my absolute favorite. The collard green and sweet potatoes/candied yams are a good second with the rice and peas coming in 3rd. Located in the Marietta Square Market Food Hall, BAD Gyal offers a fast-casual, Jamaican eatery, cooking up piquant Caribbean favorites - Vegan style. Tucked in the back of the food hall, their space is welcoming with a Caribbean flair and affirmations displayed. Ordering is simple with the kiosk, and an employee at the counter ready to assist. The creative twist on Caribbean/soul food is delightful - Ackee Spring Rolls, CheezeStakes, infamous and trademarked Voxtails, Jumbo shrimp made from Konjac Root, Greens, Mac & Cheese, Yams, Cheezcakes, fresh-made juices, other bottled and fountain beverages. They also offer 12-oz sauces to purchase and nationwide shipping. My go-to is the Baddie Platter, a great way to share and sample all the tasty items - Deep-fried Oyster Wings & Voxtails, Greens, Mac & Cheese, Rice & Peas, or Cabbage and Yams. This location is pick up only, with their location at the Decatur Food Hub, offering both pick up and delivery options. A little pricey, yet worth it for the scratch-made offerings and portions.

Our food was really tasty, and we loved sitting outside on the little patio out front since the inside was pretty crowded for lunch!

Lunch options are available from and include buffet and specialties including roti and buss up shup. A variety of meats and vegetable options are offered to accommodate all diet preferences. Everything is prepared fresh and customer service was exceptional. The owner was on site and even more lovely than the pictures on display throughout the restaurant showcasing the visitors of all status that frequent Tassa. Many were notable including one from one of my favorite cooking shows! All items ordered were delicious which included a curry goat roti, a vegetarian roti and six doubles. I had heard about doubles from Trinidadian friends, but do not recall experiencing personally. The couple in line before me ordered 10 and I was intrigued! Doubles consisted of chick peas and potatoes inside of a round pastry that resembled a flattened biscuit, but with much better flavor. The filling was available in varying levels from hot to a bit sweeter. I selected a mixture of the two for my personal ones. Others I bought were hotter for my heat loving partner. Extremely popular in the Caribbean culture and now, I know why. Parking is available in the rear of restaurant, and ample dining space in two rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Tassa for reasons mentioned above. Service has always been exceptional and informative - I ask questions! Will definitely return again and again!

My granddaughter wanted to know why, I told her the food did not look appetizing for one and the main reason is that we have been there more than five minutes, and no one has even acknowledged the fact that we were there. Not good for business. Your business is not that great that you cannot even acknowledge people who come into your establishment. Even if their food looks scrumptious, I would not have spent my money there. Please acknowledge the people who come to spend money with you. We are the ones who keep your business open.

Never had convenience and quality come together so beautifully. The food, the service, the ambiance are all fantastic. I was torn between shawarma and lamb shank - the staff recommended the lamb shank, which I'm happy about. It was fall off the bone tender. They could have gone heavier on the spices but they give you sauce (tahini and garlic mayo-ish). The bread was amazing too... fresh, fluffy and warm. The food came out super quick. There's plenty of seating - it's a large space with many booths and tables. The decor is lovely. I wish they were playing some Arabic music to round off the experience. There's ample parking in the lot. If you're wondering if the restaurant is Palestinian - it is. I asked the staff lol. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu before I leave Marietta.
