Wow, it's been a while since I had some bad Mexican food...this rarely happens. I usually have Mexican restaurants that I frequent but we decided to try this place and let me say, what a mistake. First of all it took over 25 minutes for them to prepare our order, we ordered a Chile Relleno and it was not your average Chile Relleno, this was weird and just looked burnt and like it was missing the egg batter, rice and beans were horrible, beans were canned and not good. We had an al pastor taco, terrible...a steak gordita, tasted like they pulled the gordita out of the freezer and re heated it in the microwave, there was nothing fresh tasting about it and it really didn't even resemble a gordita. I couldn't even eat it, garbage. A steak burrito, didn't have guac or Sour cream, it was so basic and falling apart before my bf even picked it up. He said he'd had better, ate it anyway but said it definitely wasn't worth the wait. What a waste of money! So, my advice is to skip this place, for real. I don't understand where the good reviews came from and why the food in the pics look so good, because it clearly was not even close. The burito in the pics look amazing and it wasn't even close to what we got, this burrito was smaller and less appealing. Go somewhere else, there are tons of better places out there. read more

AMAZING spot for great Mexican food. I've been going here regularly since they opened and I've never had a less than excellent meal. Service is always exceptionally friendly and prices are fantastic given the size and quality. Everyone else I know who's tried their food agrees about how good this place is. I may have found a new favorite Mexican place in the city... during this global pandemic! My coworkers and I decided to order lunch from this place for cinco de mayo this year. Came across it on doordash and the menu just spoke to us! The prices of the items were SUPER reasonable for the portions we received. The tacos are reasonably priced as are the Gorditas and nachos [both of which were huge]. We ended up getting 4 tacos [2 Chile relleno, 1 chicken, and 1 potato crispy taco], nachos, and a rajas con queso Gordita. After delivery, tip, and tax, the total was ~36 dollars - NOT bad at all!! The portions were huge and all the food was so delicious. We loved it all. I definitely loved the Gordita most! The sauces that they send with the food are all delicious. I enjoyed the green one most! I can't wait to order from here again and once our city reopens, can't wait to actually swing by the actual restaurant! read more

This place used to be amazing. Authentic tacos at a reasonable price. Not sure what happened but the last time I went in for a pick up, the steak on the tacos was absolutely disgusting and barely edible. Ending up throwing them out as I couldn't be sure of the quality of the food. On top of that, the price of said gross tacos went up 20%. Last but not least, they also started charging a credit card fee. Ok, it was only 36 cents, but it was never disclosed anywhere. And why am I paying for your credit card fees? It's the cost of doing business, people. Yoli's used to be a great place, but after my last experience it's not even worth trying again. There are much better Mexican options in the area that are the same as their new prices that actually have high quality food. I also don't appreciate cheap people/businesses or inedible protein. read more

One of the best taco places in Chicago. The boys come here almost every week to enjoy some Tacos. For a while we'd get the taco dinners which comes with 3 tacos but recently we realized that we were just craving the tacos so now we just get 4 tacos each. For example, Pastor, chicharron, lengua and pollo. Or sometimes 2x pastor, chicharron and carne assada. Or pastor, lengua, chorizo and pollo. Another time it might be pastor, chicharron, chorizo and lengua. You get the idea. Oh and the green salsa is the best in Chicago. read more

The owners provide excellent service and authentic food that is delicious. The prices won't hurt your wallet, but you still get huge portions. They are relatively new, but going to be a hot spot for tacos and tortas in Ukranian Village without a doubt. They have dine in and carry out and delivery. I work right next to this place and my coworkers order from here a lot. We like to support local small businesses that remain in the neighborhood despite the heavy gentrification and hipsterfication that has occurred around here over the past few years. The food is average street cart grade and is prepared very quickly within 5 minutes on average. I come here more for convenience than because of any high cuisine expectations, but the stuff I order always hits the spot and meets my expectations, especially considering the affordable prices. I ordered the 3 tacos dinner GROUND BEEF, I received STEAK tacos, the chick that answers the phone wants to be unprofessional and rude by cutting me off while I'm talking and telling me that's not what I said, WHICH IS A LIE! During the initial call I had to repeat myself numerous times because she acted like she couldn't hear or comprehend what I said. I even had her repeat back to me what I ordered, so how in the hell could she have possibly gotten this wrong? Word of advice, when you have an upset customer, you don't argue and cut them off as they're talking, you try & rectify the problem. Horrible, just horrible. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because their hibiscus tea was actually decent. But by far, the worst Mexican food I've had in Chicago and definitely one of the most mediocre I've had in my life. First, the food was sloppily put together in the take out bag, with liquid leaking here and there. But seriously, the food was just terrible. Not only was the steak burrito I got soggy, but it also didn't even have all in the ingredients that it was supposed to come with! It was completely missing the sour cream and beans, and literally had 1 diced tomato. The carne asada itself just tasted and looked like regular beef. The seasoned grilled steak pieces I was expecting was not there at all. I just could not believe how bad this food was given how consistently good most of the food in Chicago is. We ordered from GrubHub. The food came within the predicted time and was delivered by two pre-teen girls... that was a bit weird. We didn't receive two items but did receive an additional side of rice and tortilla straws and some sauces that we didn't order. I called three times over 45 minutes and was told several things: 1) we'd receive the missing food in 10 minutes -- but they never came back -- 2) "the lady" double-checked the order before it went out, so we definitely received the missing food, 3) the missing food was not written down as part of the order, which is why we didn't get it, 4) I'd have to call GrubHub for any resolution. At least GrubHub customer service is totally normal to deal with. The one star you have to give by default goes to them. read more

Their tortas are amazing, their tacos are bomb, and the caldo de res is one of my favorite things for a cold Chicago winter night. Also, their salsa chipotle is life-changing.
