She said we would have to custom order it to make it into my hair color. I would have to spend about $750 on a wig before being able to see one in my color. I also knew they carried black wigs because the lady next to me were being shown them. For the lady next to me, her hairdresser was asking questions to her, making her feel comfortable and making sure everything she tried on was ok, while mine did the opposite. I was there for less than 10 minutes and they told me to pay $25 for the consultation fee that they never even specified to me. This is the first time I've been to a wig shop. I was so nervous and my nerves have gotten even worse while I was there. They even told me that they do not take any measurements either. They were all way out of my price range. I am practically in tears right now. I will not stop into this wig shop ever again. Once I step into stores I wonder if I will be treated like all the other customers because of how short and young looking I look. I'm in my 40s. Now I know I will not be treated the same. I'm never coming here again. I did notice a trend when I walked in there. The older ladies who were shopping around and having wigs put on them were treated much more nicely than someone like me.

I called ahead of our visit for an appointment and when we walked in, Mary checked us in and helped my mom find a wig. They have all shapes and sizes and colors. If a particular wig wasn't in the particular color you want, they can order it for you. Prices were reasonable and Mary did a great job fitting my mom with the perfect wig she was looking for. I'd highly recommend this wig shop as they were fantastic with my mom and very helpful in finding what she needed.

I put down $100 for a deposit and Beatrice assured me it would be applied to the cost of the wig. By the time it was ordered, I was told it was back-ordered but nobody ever contacted me to tell me. I was subsequently scheduled to come in and see Tory (after calling there 3 or 4 times) who stated that the color I specifically wanted was backordered but other colors were not. She pushed me to find another color in the same wig and was not very pleasant about it. When I left, I said to my husband, "I did not like her at all". At one point, Tory even said to me, "You chose that color" when I mentioned my hesitancy about the new color. No, Tory, that was my second choice. Then she quoted me a price of $500 when Beatrice had told me twice it was $375. Tory told me the deposit DOES NOT go toward the cost of the wig. I have spent the last week ruminating over my choice and decided that it was not worth the $100 wig deposit I would forfeit to pay over $350 for my second choice. They can keep the wig or return it but I am going to get the wig somewhere else. Much better experience at LNY salon in Alpharetta. If they truly were an ethical business they would return my $100 deposit. Either these people do not know what they are doing or they are lying outright to get more money from their customers. Addendum: I sent a hand written letter to the owner over a week ago and no response. I guess that shows how much she cares about customer satisfaction and her employees emulate her behavior well.

I've been to many beauty supply stores that are big but the products look old/expired and the prices are too high. It was the absolute opposite here. The inventory was literally being stocked on the shelves as I shopped and all looked new/fresh. I loved that I got help from one of the owners s while I was looking for a particular braiding hair. He wasn't following me or profiling at all, but noticed I looked like I was searching for something and offered help while he stocked shelves. That's a small but uncommon thing in many supply stores. The great attitude of staff and the wide selection of braid hair/extensions/hair products will bring me back for sure!
