Soon after she went on medication for reflux our nursing journey really began to improve. Dawnita always had great advice, she dove into the numbers with me and as a type A mom I really appreciated it. She always equipped me with what to say to our pediatrician and together we really helped my baby thrive. I saw Dawnita both at my home and her clinic a few times and both experiences were great her scheduler Shawna was also extremely responsive and helpful. I didn't have great experiences with the LC at the hospital and clinic, I was so nervous meeting Dawnita but she instantly put me at ease and offered great advice. I can't recommend Dawnita enough!

We saw a lactation consultant from the hospital each day, and none could get a successful latch. we met with Dawnita as soon as we got home, and she got us a successful latch in the first session. She was also so helpful with follow up, as she was extremely responsive and encouraging with follow up texts and sessions to set us up for success. Especially recovering postpartum, her support was so reassuring when you feel like you cannot feed your baby! A few weeks later, we are back to almost exclusively breastfeeding. We are so grateful to have found Dawnita!

I met with Frida, and she was truly so helpful and supportive. She gave me her full attention during the consultation and was not only informative, but also very real and authentic. She gave me some helpful insight into how the breastfeeding process typically goes and also provided some hands on teaching moments to help me feel more prepared. Prior to visiting the BF Center, I'd taken a couple of breastfeeding courses online; but there is something about meeting with someone 1:1 (especially someone as kind and supportive as Frida) that really helped set my mind at ease. I'm looking forward to continuing to meet with her postpartum!

And honestly, I felt a little silly registering, assuming I'd "been there, done that." I could not have been more wrong. I was completely blown away by how much I learned, used, and genuinely needed. Everything from marriage and relationship tips to improve the flow of your household, to managing toddler behavior, baby and toddler sleep, even a professional that helped me identify diastasis recti. There was something valuable in every single session, no matter how many kids you already have at home. And then there's the community you build. Having a weekly group of intelligent, supportive women to lean on during one of the most overwhelming seasons of life was invaluable. Its the kind of thing you don't know you need until you experience it. Becca, our group leader and the owner, made all the difference in our group. She's warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly has an amazing network of resources, because every week felt exactly like what we needed. 5 stars for exceptional service!…read more I was surprised to find out my health insurance covered 5 days of 24/7 live-in care with a postpartum doula. Veronica was my point of contact/consultant that helped make everything possible. She worked hard to find me a doula I was happy with and was very responsive with all my questions. My doula, Yurong, was absolutely amazing. I was initially skeptical of having a stranger live with me for 5 days but she surpassed all my expectations. Yurong gave me tips on taking care of a newborn, tips only an experienced doula/mother would know. She cooked 3 delicious meals a day and kept our kitchen area clean. She took the night shift and soothed baby during cries. Yurong was on top of it - she sprung out of bed at the first sign of fussiness and soothed baby until she was ready to feed. The first 5 days with a newborn is rough but Yurong made it much easier for us. She's so genuinely caring and sweet, I cried when she left. I would recommend Cooings without hesitation to anyone looking for a postpartum doula.

She cooks amazing traditional healing food and drinks, gave me foot bath and neck massage every night. I've learned so much from her like how to bathe baby with no fuss and to make the date teas. I didn't get PPD this time and it's because i was nurtured well. Negative 1star because the company is bad with communication and for 8k you would think the concierge would be more efficient. Also, plan on buying tons of fresh food for the doula to cook. This is a very expensive pp confinement treatment and really should be covered by insurance.

I let…read moreMegan know and she provided us with a lot of sound advice, like when to get off the pill, what user friendly apps to use to track periods and symptoms, and other lifestyle adjustments we can make, so that it happens fairly quick, but also with the best versions of ourselves. It took 3 months, which was perfect for our timeline and what felt so fast for being on the pill for over 10 years. Megan knew I was pregnant the day I found out. She has incredible intuition and just so happened to text me minutes around the time I tested positive! I will always remember those 9 months of pregnancy fondly, especially because I had Megan checking in on me/us, letting me know what I can expect at certain doctor appointments, and always just being a text/call away for all of the random questions I had (I am located in Northern CA). The week of our due date, Megan continued to check in on us. Our baby was overdue, but I was never worried because Megan had taught me how normal that is. She even prepared me for what to expect from others: nonstop texts/calls of where the baby is, of course! Because Megan prepped me so well, I was ready for anything and didn't let anything or anyone get to me. I am so fortunate for her help with the expectation-setting; it really went a long way. Baby is now earthside and Megan continues to be there for us. She has made sure that things are going, like breastfeeding, labor and delivery recovery, and more, while making sure me and my husband's mental health are still alive and well! I have also attended a couple of the Friday meetup groups when I was in So Cal and seriously love them. It's such a great atmosphere and gathering of moms with their babies, getting to know each other and sharing their current "happies + crappies." They sometimes bring knowledgeable guests, like a pelvic floor therapist, too. Their baby gear swaps are also so great! I've gotten to donate some things for the next family, while gaining some awesome things for baby, like clothing, bottles and a portable tub. This is already so long, but I could easily go on about how great Megan and her services are. You will feel safe, listened to and advocated for.

Over the course of several weeks, I worked closely with Lina while arranging the additional support my mother needed following her surgery, which had been significantly delayed due to the Kaiser strike. Throughout the process, Lina was professional, compassionate, kind, and extremely helpful. There were several frustrating moments related to scheduling issues, many of which I expressed to Kaiser. Lina was always honest and transparent, explaining that all of their Spanish-speaking caregivers were currently assigned to other clients. Even so, she consistently took the time to listen to my concerns, answer questions, and help explore possible solutions.
