Our family trusted this agency to help care for my father, who suffers from Alzheimer's. Instead, the experience became one of the most stressful and emotionally draining situations we've ever dealt with. The caregiver assigned to our family regularly spent large amounts of time on her phone during caregiving hours, including personal calls involving ongoing relationship and family drama. I personally caught her sitting up the street with my father during what was supposed to be a walk while she remained distracted on the phone instead of actively caring for him. Out of respect for her situation and because she has children depending on her income, I chose not to escalate concerns immediately. However, after realizing the level of inattentiveness taking place, I intended to formally address the situation. Shortly afterward, the caregiver abruptly quit, and APS was suddenly sent to our home. APS and law enforcement both evaluated the situation and determined my father was living in a safe environment. The timing of these events, combined with what our family experienced directly, left us deeply disturbed and caused enormous emotional stress during an already difficult period caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's. Families going through dementia care are already overwhelmed enough without fear, instability, interrupted care, and added trauma. I strongly encourage families to stay actively involved, document everything, and pay close attention to how caregivers are spending their time while entrusted with vulnerable elderly patients. Be vigilant with companies that are supposed to support families in crisis, because continuity of care, professionalism, and compassion matter when dealing with elderly patients suffering from Alzheimer's. read more

The process of registration was very thorough and efficient. We even received additional hours through them! They asked all the right questions about our child's needs, likes and dislikes. We were paired with a couple of individuals and both ladies were exceptional! On outings they take the initiative to do things to be helpful without me even asking and that's huge for me! We've had such a wonderful experience with respite care for my 4-year-old daughter. We had been offered respite care through the Regional Center before, but I was always hesitant. I'm so thankful we finally moved forward with the Care Partners team, because it has truly made a positive difference for our family. My daughter is verbal, but usually only with people she feels comfortable with, so building trust has always been very important to us. We were able to meet three caregivers tom the beginning Alicia shared, the importance of building rapport with multiple caregivers really helped create a sense of comfort and familiarity. Thankfully, the caregivers have come consistently week after week, and it means so much to see that my daughter now looks forward to their visits. Vanna has been amazing with communication. She always keeps me informed if someone needs to call out and is quick to offer a replacement. I truly appreciate her reliability and thoughtfulness.The caregivers themselves have been incredible. I was initially very nervous about having someone help Zoey in the restroom and with bath time as part of her bedtime routine, but they have been so patient, kind, and respectful. Over time, they've truly become like part of our family. I'm so grateful for this support. Being able to step out, even just for a walk, and feel completely at ease knowing my daughter is safe, happy, and well cared for means more than I can express. My mom came home from the hospital on hospice care in May and we knew we needed addition help. We opted to sign up for 24-hour care for my mom. We had care for 4 days before her passing. Her daytime caregiver was Fe. We absolutely adored her. She provided such wonderful and compassionate care for my mom but also support for our family. Our nighttime nurses did change a bit but everyone again was great. They took care of her during the evening and allowed us to get some sleep. She was in her late 70s on hospice and living with dementia. She unfortunately didn't have money and was approved for Medi-Cal. Autumn told me about CalAIM and what a blessing, she was approved. We had home care starting within two weeks of my call to Care Partners. I also worked with Christina and Kristen to get things scheduled. I would have never known about this program had it not been for that call to Autumn. The care staff showed such love and compassion that we felt comfortable everyday knowing she was in great hands. These are some examples of the worst service I've ever experienced. I was in the hospital after surgery. Marco informed me that the caregiver was a no-show, which meant that there was nobody to feed my dog and let him out. Marco finally went and did it personally. Another day when I was at home, nobody showed up. All the caregivers who did come were very nice and professional. Randy called me and apologized for the horrible service. He made a substantial adjustment to my bill. I have no family to help me, and I counted on Care Partners for help during this surgery. They failed. read more

My family and I were very blessed by the excellent care my mom received in the last month of her life before passing on 5/20/21. She battled metastatic breast cancer and was a warrior in every sense, and the Care Partners was a perfect fit for us. We contacted Care Partners Homecare after a referral from the hospital when we were in need of 24 hour care for our family member who desperately wanted out of her post care placement at a SNF. Josh did a phenomenal job responding timely and providing all the info needed to make the care choices with our family member. While we ultimately needed a different solution, we were impressed with their expediency, responsiveness and professionalism. I needed home care for my aging father and stepmom. Catalina from CarePartners met with us and answered all our questions. She was wonderful with my parents. My father was a little resistant to having someone in their home for 8 hours. We also met with Gina our case manager who was also great to work with. They sent Meril on the 2nd day and by the end of the day my father was convinced. He is a wonderful young man and is very caring and attentive to my parents. My 89 year old mother had a stroke in April 2018, and she decided that she wanted to return home after spending a few weeks in a skilled nursing facility. My brother and sisters and I checked out a number of different in-home caregiving providers. We selected Care Partners, and they provided my mother with excellent service for over a year until she moved to a new community outside their service area. For several months Mom required 24/7 care, and Care Partners was able to bring in caregivers who were very skilled in helping her with all of the daily activities that most of us take for granted. Her case manager got to know Mom well and she assigned caregivers who were able to communicate clearly with her and her family members, and who understood that Mom was motivated and wanted to regain her independence as quickly as possible. As Mom progressed, Randy and the case manager worked with us to gradually reduce the number of hours of caregiving she required while making sure that she felt safe and secure. By the time she moved to her new location, she had made excellent progress in her recovery, and has since been able to live on her own with a minimum level of caregiving support. We were all very pleased with the service we received from Care Partners, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for highly professional and caring support for their parent or loved one. read more

Their weekly helpers were patient and kind and were flexible to help with whatever needed to be done that week. Choose another agency. Always getting the schedule incorrect, they promise they will provide quality service this is not when the schedule is always wrong. They don't listen to the client they are scatter brain people. They add to your hours and charge you for them. They changed my contract after a few months, there is a 24 hour in advance change they verbally changed to a 72 hours no paperwork follow up. Just because they use the phrase have a blessed day this should not give you a assurance this agency is good. Their scheduling team assigned two caregivers on the same day. The caregivers fought with each other on who was going to stay. This upset my mom to see and hear this. The owner didn't do anything he kept it quiet. The social worker at the skilled nursing facility provided me with this company as an option because they had provided excellent care in the past. After interviewing options, I signed the contract with Ben in a matter of hours & arranged 24/7 services for 3 weeks in the skilled nursing facility. The patient had dementia & needed skilled nursing for antibiotics, strength training & COPD care. Overall, the caregivers were a good fit and went above & beyond to do a superior job. If there was someone I thought might not work long term, I communicated that to the office & it was quickly remedied. I appreciated the consistency of staff & depth of experience. Some traveled from a far distance & I really appreciated it. I would highly recommend Care Partners for your loved one and would use them again. read more
