Where do I even start! I signed up for the Second Time Mom Class even though this was my third baby. And honestly, I felt a little silly registering, assuming I'd "been there, done that." I could not have been more wrong. I was completely blown away by how much I learned, used, and genuinely needed. Each week brought in a different expert, and the range of knowledge was incredible. Everything from marriage and relationship tips to improve the flow of your household, to managing toddler behavior, baby and toddler sleep, even a professional that helped me identify diastasis recti. There was something valuable in every single session, no matter how many kids you already have at home. And then there's the community you build. Having a weekly group of intelligent, supportive women to lean on during one of the most overwhelming seasons of life was invaluable. Its the kind of thing you don't know you need until you experience it. Becca, our group leader and the owner, made all the difference in our group. She's warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly has an amazing network of resources, because every week felt exactly like what we needed. Highly, highly recommend to every mom, no matter how many babies you've already had. Thank you Becca and NMS Team! Appreciate you all so much. read more

I loved New Mom School so much! It helped me find moms going through the same phase of life that I am currently in! It's an amazing group & I feel more confident as a mom now :) read more

This is my third go around at NMS! I did the newborn and infant class with my son from 2024-2025, and just finished the second time mom class with my daughter. I met so many wonderful moms going through similar life stages. It's been amazing to have a wonderful group of supportive women surrounding me. One of the highlights of NMS was my infant class and second time mom class instructor, Julie. She provided such wonderful advice and support, and I can't imagine being on this journey without her. I highly recommend New Mom School to anyone looking to build her village. read more

Highly recommend New Mom School for first time and second time moms! Sign up early because the classes fill up. I did NMS with both my kids and had the best experience. The experts are great, the community is so supportive, and the friendships are priceless. read more

This review is looong overdue but New Mom School completely changed my life. I did both the newborn class and the rising toddler class with my daughter. My only regret is not taking the infant series! This class connected me with the most amazing support system when I needed it most and I still talk to those moms every day. The classes taught me so much and I left feeling a lot more confident as a mom. I experienced a lot of postpartum anxiety with my daughter and this class was what helped me most out of anything. I loved my experience so much I ended up bringing this to Las Vegas. Becca the owner, is such a lovely teacher and makes you feel so safe and comfortable. She is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth, I felt very lucky to have her as my instructor. Definitely make this a part of your postpartum experience! read more

Do yourself a favor and sign up for new moms school. It was the best decision I've made for myself and my newborn. The classes were really great and I met some really wonderful moms that were so supportive. I highly recommend new moms school!! read more

This is your sign to just sign up! This class has truly been one of the highlights of my motherhood journey. I've met the most amazing women (first in the newborn class and then again in the infant class) and the friendships I've made are priceless. You'll learn so much that's specific to each week/stage, and trust me, there's nothing like having a group of moms whose babies are the exact same age as yours. If you're on the fence...just take a chance and get out of the house and do it!!! There's nothing else like this out there. Do it for the community, the learning, and most of all - for you!!! read more

Totally worth the money. I recommend new mom school to all new moms who have the means! I learned so much from my infant class, met great friends I still hang out with, and my baby had a great time too! Meeting new moms going through the same things as me helped my postpartum anxiety so much and made me more confident as a mother. I'm so happy I decided to do NMS! read more

If you're pregnant, give yourself the gift of signing up for the Newborn mommy & me class. I'm only three weeks in but I'm tremendously grateful to be a part of the community that the New Mom School has built. It really does take a village to navigate through this time of our lives, and I am so happy to say that I've found my tribe! Definitely looking forward to trying out more classes as my baby grows! read more

Saw my friend post that she took the newborn class and how much it helped her in the fourth trimester and just having had my baby 2 weeks prior... Feeling lost and overwhelmed.. I knew i needed that same confidence and community in my life! I took the newborn class and learned so much, made connections with moms going through the exact same stage as me, and gained so much confidence in this new phase of my life. Liz was an amazing instructor! I wish i could bottle her up and take her everywhere with me through this journey! Lol. Yesterday was my first day of the next phase (infant class) and i already love it! read more

Had such an amazing experience going with my daughter. I was the first of my friends to have a baby and had no idea what to do! I ended up meeting one of my closest friends through NMS and to this day, we talk daily and see each other weekly. Having somewhere to go weekly was also a blessing for postpartum. While it wasn't easy, it really helped to get out of the house! read more

I was recommended to Shelly and the new Mom school by my pelvic floor therapist. I am so glad that I got in contact with her! Shelly was very helpful in helping me find what class worked for me and had great positive energy. I initially came in for the lactation group on Fridays, and it was so helpful. There were 2 lactation consultants that would do weighted feeds and helped the moms with breastfeeding and pumping questions. All of the moms brought their babies with them, and there was a circle of floor chairs for all of the moms and babies. I gained so many amazing tips, and it was a really great environment with other moms. This space is really beautiful and comforting, and I would definitely go back for other groups. There are two rooms, make sure you go to the correct room for your group. The environment feels really supportive and safe, it's nice to be around other moms in the same stage. Make sure to sign up for the classes ahead of time so they can get a proper count. read more

I joined the 2nd time moms class and the program was even better than I remembered! The owner, Becca, is incredibly welcoming, engaging, and funny. She makes every class unique and enjoyable. But you gain so much more beyond the classroom - you get to meet other women in the same season of life who genuinely want to make friends, so everybody is very open to sharing and getting to know each other. I would highly recommend this program for yourself as a new mom or as a gift for somebody about to have a baby! read more

I am a new mom school alum from both the newborn class and the 3-6 month class. Becca was my instructor for both classes. My son and I also attended a drop-in playgroup during the summer. To say New Mom School is just a school is an understatement. It is a supportive environment for new (and experienced) moms alike. I attended a an event that NMS was partnered with and received a $100 off coupon and after seeing the total price of the infant class, I figured it would be worth it to enroll. Having gone through the class, I find that it is very much well worth the cost. Having expert speakers come and having new mamas to share your experience with is so helpful. We are all going through it together. I like that we met weekly, at the same time and with the same mamas. It really helped foster a community and friendship with the little babes. We even have meetups several months later. As a friend put it- the newborn class focuses on the mama and the 3-6 class focuses more on baby. The playgroup was also a fun environment to explore and have semi-structured activity with my baby. Highly recommend NMS! read more

Just finished the NMS April 2025 newborn class and I'm so sad it's over! I truly enjoyed the class, its topics, and our instructor, Liz. Thank you for creating such an amazing space for new moms to come and build community. I will always be thankful for what this class did for me during such a chaotic time in my life. read more

**"An Absolute Lifesaver for New Moms!"** Joining New Mom School's newborn series at just 4 weeks postpartum was hands down one of the best decisions I've made as a new mom. Every session was something I genuinely looked forward to--it became the highlight of my week! My instructor, Liz, was absolutely amazing. She was warm, knowledgeable, and so supportive. Seeing her every week felt like catching up with a friend who truly understood what I was going through. The program not only provided invaluable guidance and support but also introduced me to an incredible group of women who *got it*--the sleepless nights, the endless questions, and the emotional rollercoaster. Liz created a safe space where we could all learn, share, and grow as parents, and her insights made the transition into motherhood feel so much more manageable. I loved the newborn series so much that I immediately signed up for the infant class! I would 1000000% recommend New Mom School to any new mama. It's more than just a class--it's a community, a support system, and honestly, a sanity-saver. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and sign up. You'll be so glad you did--especially if you're lucky enough to have Liz as your instructor! read more

I'm sooo happy for the referral from a friend about the New Mom School. Going anywhere with a 3 week old can seem daunting, but it was sooo worth it. The speakers and content were very helpful, I loved our instructor and the group of moms and babies in our class went from complete strangers to people I talk to daily. Highly recommend! read more

Love this community Alex has created! I did the newborn class with my first and getting ready to attend the second time mom class with my second. I am even doing this next class with a friend I made from the first class since we had our second babies the same time. I have made a few very good friends that I still talk to years later and the newborn help you get with each class really is a life saver. Very non judgmental community and just love a mama owned business all about women supporting women! Also recommend doing the extra classes you can sign up for on the side. I did the toddler behavior one with Hayley as well as the BLW class. Loved all of them! read more

New Mom School was the best experience! Becoming a mom is filled with so many emotions, questions, and concerns, it's overwhelming to say the least! But having a weekly class to learn and connect with other moms was such a rewarding experience. I can not thank the New Mom School enough! read more

I did NMS 3 years ago with my first son and it was amazing! To be able to go through motherhood for the first time with 9 other moms with babies of the same age, is something money can't buy. I did the New Mom School Newborn class and it got me through some of the harder days in the beginning of becoming a first time mom. It was so nice to be apart of a group of women who are gong through the same thing and you can lean on eachother and know you aren't alone. I would do New Mom School 10x over again and would recommend it to any new mom! read more

I highly highly recommend the New Mom School. I took classes after both my children were born, and I am so thankful for this program. After I had my first son and was adjusting to mom life, I was so grateful to have a reason to leave the house and meet with other women who were going through the exact same thing! When my son was a littler older (about a year) I returned for the play group classes, and that was super fun for the kiddos & moms! The facility itself is beautiful, and the center it's in is so convenient. A lot of moms go for coffee or lunch after class. When I had my second child, I signed up for the Second Time Mom's class and it was equally amazing! I made lifelong friends, and we still chat and plan get togethers all the time. I'm so happy that the New Mom School brought us together. read more

NMS has been such an amazing experience and game changer for me as a first time mom. One of the biggest things I have enjoyed most is the community that NMS has built. Going through the classes with babies, all the same age as they go through all the same stages has been so helpful and supportive throughout the postpartum experience. Every New Mom should join! read more

Being a new mom I signed up for several series of these mommy and me classes. It was the best investment I ever made. My baby and I have made life friends that I will always cherish. I can't rave about this school enough, it is the best one and I tried a few other options. The learning material is priceless and the teachers are wonderful. They kept the classroom very clean and the curriculum always on point with what we were experiencing with out toddlers. They are very helpful with questions and it's a great place to express how your feeling and get advice on what you and your baby are going through. If you are considering taking a class I urge you to not hesitate and sign up today. Only regret I had was not signing up sooner. read more

What a joke. This place is unbelievably unorganized and unprofessional. What garbage. Classes canceled and no notification. Let's try to get a newborn out the door, find parking in this godawful center, and trek up to the third floor. Only to have a sign on the door saying canceled. Do not waste your money here. Obviously the other people posting here are suspect. read more

1000% recommend!! We just finished the newborn class and already signed up for the next series. I was really hesitant at signing up at first because of my anxiety and just not being sure of what to expect. I also wasn't sure if I would fit in with the other Mom's or if it would end up being "clicky." Well, this class exceeded my expectations. Our teacher, Liz, was amazing and so sweet. The other women in class were also so kind and open with their struggles and wins they were going through with a newborn. We had moms from San Clemente to Long Beach in our class. I'm sure the classes can greatly differ depending on the group you get, but even if you just focus on the classes themselves, they cover GREAT material! Multiple specialists come in over the weeks and give great lessons and advice for surviving the newborn phase (sleep, developmental, therapists, pelvic floor.. to just name a few). I looked up some of the experts, and their usual one-time fees would add up to be more than just taking this class! You also have access to a weekly Breastfeeding Support Group, which was casual and drop-in style (not intimating at all). This class helped me gain confidence in taking my baby out, breastfeeding in public, dealing with a crying/fussy baby in public, and overall helped me in those early postpartum days to connect with other women going through the same thing. It was an invaluable experience, and I suggest all Mom's get involved in some kind of mommy and me class. I can't wait for the infant class! read more

I came to the New Mom School for a Second Time Mommy and Me Class for - you guessed it - second time moms...or in this case I'm a third time mom! But it was my first time going to a Mommy and Me Class because with my first one I was the first in my circle of friends to have kids so didn't know these existed and with my second I just didn't even think of it, but with baby #3 I figured I could try it as something to do to get out of the house and meet some other moms in similar situations. And I'm so glad I did! The class had 8 sessions and topics included nutrition, sleep, parenting, marriage changes, how to manage a changing family dynamic with your toddler, etc. I had a fun time at the class and it felt like a very safe space to talk through any issues us moms were facing. It was really nice to meet a group of other moms in the area and we went out to lunch frequently after class was over. 4 stars because it's a bit on the pricey side and I feel like I'm really just paying to meet some other moms :) read more

Absolutely loved our experience at New Mom School!! It's impossible to describe just how much The New Mom School changed motherhood for me. To instantly have a community of women who understood exactly what I was going through and who were in the exact same stage themselves was invaluable. Not to mention that it forced me to shower and get out of the house every week! I learned so much not just from the great speakers but also from the other moms. Most of all, every week I got a sanity check and a reminder that I was not alone. Couldn't recommend TNMS more. read more

This class gave me something to look forward to every week. It gave me the courage to leave the house and take my newborn somewhere alone. It gave me a small community of new moms that I still talk to 6 years later. Community of moms going through the same struggles as you is so helpful! My wife joined the newborn class, after our son was born in May of 2021. She was nervous to go at first as it was the first major solo outing since having our son. After her first visit, she was immediately happy with the decision she made! After each meeting she came back to new friendships, tips from staff and other moms, and a building confidence in caring for a newborn. I truly feel that this class helped her and myself cope with like with a newborn, gave us resources for our family and created lasting, lifelong friendships. I would highly recommend so any new family to consider taking the newborn class! read more

My daughter and I love our New Mom School experience. We did some research online and came across the New Mom School. I was not really sure what to expect when we signed up but decided to give it a try. We signed up for the newborn class which started when my daughter was 3 weeks and lasted for 10 weeks. I was so lucky to get paired up with a great group of moms and babies. There were 14 of us, I believe, in the class and Britt was our instructor. The class really gave us a chance to connect with other new moms and babies. Every week we had a different speaker and loved hearing from all of them. There was a lot of great knowledge that was shared that I was not aware of or didn't think of as a first time mom. The class really helped me get through the first few months of motherhood. read more
