There are absolutely no words to describe everything that Tiffany has done for me and my partner during our pregnancy and birth experience. From the first call I had with her, her calming and compassionate energy immediately felt so good to me and I knew I wanted her along my pregnancy journey as my doula. We had a wonderful experience having Tiffany as our doula for the birth of our daughter. From the first intro call I had with Tiffany I was immediately impressed with her calming energy and depth of knowledge of all things pregnancy and birth. Tiffany supported my husband and I through the pregnancy and birth of our second daughter. We absolutely adored working with her. Tiffany, thank you for your positive energy and for always being available with the most level headed, logical, natural-first advice. I am convinced it was my hypno birthing breathing exercises and Tiffany's helpful reminders to breathe and not work against what my body was doing but WITH it, that had my baby shooting out after less than 2 hours at the hospital and with ZERO tearing haha! I had what appeared on scans as very large retained tissue after the birth and had been bleeding on and off for longer than expected. Doctors (AND MIDWIVES!) were all recommending I have a D&C which although it may be common, is still an invasive procedure that requires full anesthesia--not something I wanted to do a few weeks postpartum! Incredible Doula Experience with Tiffany Tiffany was an absolute game changer during the birth of our daughter. We were in pre-labor and labor for over 24 hours, and she was there for us every step of the way. Throughout the night, she texted us, offering support and guidance, and then stayed by our side for the entirety of the birth at the hospital. We had a less-than-ideal experience with one of the nurses, which added stress to an already intense situation, but Tiffany's calming presence soothed all the tension. She completely transformed the atmosphere in the room, bringing in soft candlelight, peaceful music, and positive affirmations that made us feel at ease. Her expertise shone through as she helped us craft a detailed birthing plan ahead of time and guided us through every decision during the process, making it all feel natural and manageable. My partner and I also attended her hypnobirthing class which was extremely helpful and gave us the tools to get through each surge with breath work. Blessed to say I was able to achieve my birth plan; couldn't have done it without Tiffany! We couldn't have asked for a more supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula. Tiffany- A life saver! Just do it! You will thank me later I went into labor a week past my due date and unfortunately the doula I had hired couldn't be present for the birth so she put us in contact with two other doulas in my area! To be honest... I was nervous because I had PTSD from my first birth that didn't go at all as planned (transferred from home to hospital after pushing for 4ish hours at home and welp I was dead and needed more assistance like an epidural - pushed for another 4ish hours at the hospital with no luck and ended in a cesarean) BUT this time around I got my HBAC haha (Home birth after cesarean) YAY! Thank you Lord for all the answered prays and being so kind to me! I said I was a week past my "due date" but still I couldn't tell if I was in "early labor or not" just some pain in my hips so went about my day until about 7-8PM when things REALLY started to intensify! I texted Tiffany and my midwife Tessa that something was going on. Ha ha. I believe Tiffany had just gotten home from another birth and she lives about 30 minutes from me so again I was nervous that of course I didn't think I could DO IT! I was on FaceTime with my midwife when my water broke (on my husbands side of the bed ) (it was about 9:30pm and I told everyone to hurry up and get here ASAP hahahah or my husband did LOL idk at that point) they arrived at 10pm and I was already in the birthing tub doing my VERY LOUD horse lips thankfully I didn't feel ashamed or judged by anyone-Tiffany had SUCH a calm and guiding voice (remember this is the first time we have met) she massaged my shoulders and did counter pressure where needed. She brought me water and words of wisdom - she was gentle and warm. I trusted her. They trusted me. Then... 2 hours later at 12PM my sweet baby boy was welcomed into the world! I remember asking everyone what time it was (I thought for sure it was 5-7am hahaha) they all looked at me and said midnight! You did it! You just breathed that baby out and I was like wait! I decided to seek support from a doula on the recommendation of my obgyn. This was my first pregnancy and I wanted to have emotional support as well as guidance through my pregnancy and birth. Tiffany helped us prepare for and deliver our first baby, and we couldn't have done it without her. Tiffany was a wealth of knowledge leading up to the birth - sharing insights, resources, and specifically encouraging me to pursue hypnobirthing, which is ultimately what I ended up doing. She was never pushy or opinionated, but rather shared thoughts based on research and her own experience as a mother and doula. Once I decided to explore the hypnobirthing route, she shared podcasts, books, and class recommendations with me. And most importantly, she was incredibly encouraging and thoughtful about checking in on my progress throughout my journey. We enjoyed getting to know Tiffany in the two sessions we had with her prior to birth, both of which helped us feel as prepared as humanly possible for what was to come (or as prepared as anyone can feel going into something so foreign and monumental). Most importantly she made it clear the role she would be playing as we looked to bring a healthy baby into the world - she would be on our team, and helping us communicate our preferences and needs to the nurses and doctors. Once I went into labor at home, she stayed in constant communication with my partner, and when things accelerated much faster than anticipated, she dropped everything to quickly meet us at the hospital. She arrived right at the same time we did and quickly went into support mode. Helping get me into a wheelchair and into L&D as quickly as possible, jumping in to help me continue to work through contractions with counter-pressure and changing positions, and all-around just being a calming and supportive presence. I really don't think I could have made it to the last leg of the birth without her. I probably locked eyes with her about 200 times, and each time she gave me such reassurance and strength. Tiffany has a wonderful way about her - both calming and confident. Once we were ready to push, she turned into my biggest coach and cheerleader, and helped keep me as comfortable as possible (wiping my forehead, bringing me sips of water, etc.). When he finally emerged, Tiffany was there to capture some of his first moments on earth in photos and videos. And they were beautiful - I will forever cherish them. She stayed around for a bit to help with any questions we had, and made sure that we got settled into our new reality as a family of three. We also engaged Tiffany for her placenta encapsalation services, which were also wonderful. She took my placenta home from the birth in a cooler, and delivered the pills to us a few days later in a beautiful little container accompanied by a little surprise - the word "love" made out of his umbilical cord. I loved it so much. Who is to know if they actually work or not, but I didn't experience any postpartum depression or significant issues, so I was happy I tried it out! Tiffany continues to check-in and see how we're all doing, and shares about her life and family too! It really makes me feel like we have a relationship vs. her just being a service. It's taken me way too long to write this review! Let me start by saying my husband and I are forever in gratitude to Tiffany!! Tiffany allowed us to have the birth experience that I was envisioning for the birth of our son. As a first time mom, my goal was to have an unmedicated hospital birth, but I was so nervous about the unknown and labor. I knew I wanted a doula to guide us through this process, so my chances of succeeding with my goals were greatly increased. From our first meeting with Tiffany, we knew she was the one to accompany us on our pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. Her energy was amazing and she was so warm and comforting! It felt good to be in her presence and she made me feel very confident in myself and my abilities to birth our son naturally! As I went past my due date, Tiffany continued to assure me that baby will come when he's ready and that there was no need for concern (as I had a healthy, normal pregnancy). Finally, when the day came (at 40 weeks + 6 days), Tiffany was absolutely incredible! Once I started feeling surges come on, I texted Tiffany to let her know I thought I was starting labor. Tiffany told me to continue to go about my normal routines and day and get rest as well. Later in the afternoon, my surges were really starting and becoming consistent. It was at this time that my husband took over texting with Tiffany so that I could focus on my breathing and surges. Tiffany and my husband texted for the remainder of my labor while I just kept focusing on my breathing. To reach my goal of having an unmedicated birth, the plan was to labor at home for as long as possible. While I was laboring at home, Tiffany gave my husband tons of direction and suggestions about moving me in and out of the warm bath, to the toilet, to the bed, using a warm compress, etc. to help comfort me. Tiffany answered any questions I had or my husband had while I was laboring. She guided us the entire time we were at home. When it was finally time to go to the hospital, my husband texted Tiffany when we were leaving so Tiffany could meet us there. We arrived at the hospital and I was 9.5 centimeters dilated! The nurses wheeled me into the delivery room and Tiffany came to my side. It was such a relief to see Tiffany and I felt extra comforted knowing she was there. Tiffany made sure my birth preference were being honored at the hospital, which I was so appreciative of while I continued to focus on my labor. Tiffany also made sure I was hydrating, which is so easy to forget to do while laboring. Fast forward to breathing our baby boy down and pushing him out, Tiffany and my husband worked as a team to continue to encourage me and provide comfort measures. Our son began to crown and I continued to push. After pushing for a while after our son was crowning, the OB told me I only had two more pushes/surges to get baby out, otherwise we had to think about other measures. I knew there was no way I had made it this far, unmedicated, only to end up having a c-section. At this point, Tiffany really came to my rescue and reminded me of my closed glottis versus open glottis breathing and she gave me that extra reminder and push that finally helped me get baby out!! It was magical! That feeling of pushing your baby out and finally getting to hold him is just indescribable! Also, I felt so accomplished knowing I had the birth that I set out to have! Side note, Tiffany took photos and videos during my delivery, which I will forever cherish! They are so special to me and have allowed me to relive my son's birth from a different perspective. There is no doubt in my mind that Tiffany will be there for the births are all of our future babies!!! We are so grateful and blessed to have had Tiffany guide us through our first experience with birth! Lastly, Tiffany continued to support me postpartum and checked in with me to see how I was doing, emotionally and physically. Tiffany's wealth of knowledge, experience and physical presence at the birth of our first child was just invaluable. My husband and I completed the hypnobirthing course with Tiffany first, and this course really helped us to prepare for the low intervention/unmedicated birth I wanted. I then decided it would only make sense to engage Tiffany to be our Doula took. Tiffany was so available and responsive when my husband and I were communicating with her during my 'early labor' phase. Things can be so confusing but she always reassured us and guided us in the right direction. The 10 hours or so in the hospital laboring and pushing was exhausting for all of us and Tiffany remained calm and helped me refocus in those times of need. My husband absolutely praised Tiffany after our son was delivered and said he couldn't have done it without her there. She was so supportive of my husband during the labor which he definitely needed because I was requesting hip squeezes every minute or so when he needed a break she was there to step in! We also had the placenta encapsulated too, and Tiffany gave us a keepsake of the umbilical cord which was just so sweet. Overall, I had the birth of my dreams and I would do it over again. Everything I hoped for(and more), everything my husband didn't know he needed. It was important to me to find someone to help me/us navigate the world of pregnancy and birth. I wanted to feel safe, confident, and strong. I wanted all the love and support around me. Now, I'm not going to lie, I did have to educate myself(and my husband...and my family.. and my in-laws) on the difference between a Doula and Midwife and Ob-gyns. I had heard a few stories of births, so I felt like a Doula was a good fit to help with not just the physical aspects of pregnancy and birth, but the emotional and mental aspects as well. Tiffany was the first and ONLY Doula I met with. I had a few lined up to meet with but from the moment I met her, something clicked, and I felt like I already knew her, and she knew me. She has a gentle and soft approach, with a really steady and strong core. I liked that she has her own family and had her own experiences that led her into the work she does today. She is a wealth of knowledge. You might think she would pressure you to do your pregnancy or birth in a certain way, but it's not like that. She doesn't judge or pressure you. She educates you on everything from pregnancy tips to birthing scenarios/choices. She told me what might help, what I could do, and lays out all the different options. She wants your pregnancy and birth to be FOR YOU. And no one else. It's your journey and your story. For the birth, I I wanted as little interventions as possible. I wanted my body to be able to try to do its thing without being forced. I wasn't sure if I wanted a 100% unmedicated birth in the beginning. Deep down, I thought it would be pretty cool and loved the idea of it. I had heard birth stories that didn't go as planned, so I also reserved the space that it was totally OK if I didn't have an unmedicated birth. I didn't want to hold on to any real "plan" so I wouldn't be disappointed or upset if it didn't go to plan. There was also a part of me thinking, could I even do it completely unmedicated?! The more I went through my pregnancy, took birthing classes, and spoke with Tiffany - the idea of doing unmedicated grew in the back of my mind, but all I really cared about was - I wanted my baby to be safe. I wanted to stand in my own power, be able to make smart decisions, and be in control. I never wanted to feel like someone was making a decision for me. Tiffany supported all my thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. Leading up to the day, I was feeling more fear creep in, and she helped calm me down. She sent me meditations and things to do for myself to keep my body and mind strong. When the day came and I started to get contractions, I texted her right away and felt calm. She has this way about her to keep you calm. I think it's because you feel like you're in really good hands. That day, is really when my husband experienced how incredible she was/is. He wasn't completely sold on having a Doula in the beginning but was supporting me in the decision. Tiffany really came through for him. When I stopped being able to talk to him through the contractions, she guided my husband through. She was there to answer his texts and calls. She coached him through what was happening and what to try and when. During labor, I remember her gently offering me ice chips, water, anything I needed, and before I thought to need it. It felt like I had one of my sisters with me. She was one step ahead, it's that feminine energy that just knows how to take care of you when you don't know what you need or can't ask for what you need. She supported me mentally, emotionally, and physically. She pushed on my hips throughout to help with pressure. She motivated me softly to keep going. She kept my mind strong and helped my mind stay in it. I had the most beautiful experience and birth. I did end up having an unmedicated birth, and Tiffany 100% helped me do it. Overall, Tiffany is an incredible human and an amazing Doula. She was so great to work with and communicate with. I absolutely adore her. She is just the freaking sweetest and BEST! I really enjoyed taking the hypnobirthing course with Tiffany. She not only provides great information, but she is always willing to answer questions/concerns. Tiffany helped me to feel more empowered with giving birth and advocating for myself and the baby. My baby was breech, and Tiffany was more than happy to provide guidance on techniques and provide recommendations to help baby move in the correct birthing position. In the end, baby remained breech so we had to have a c-section. I used the various techniques learned in her course as I prepared for the c-section, which helped ease the anxiety of having the surgery (especially since that wasn't how I envisioned my birthing experience). Since she has had different birth experiences of her own, I felt that she was easy to talk to without judgement. Definitely recommend taking her course especially for first time moms. My fiancée and I took Tiffany's hypnobirthing class together before having our first baby and we're SO grateful we found her! The class prepared us for childbirth and taught us both so many things we didn't event know that we didn't know ha. It was also a really bonding experience for my Fiancée and I to do together, we both looked forward to class so much each week. We made it a date night and went to dinner after class to discuss all the things we learned and it sparked so many great conversations. Tiffany has so much knowledge as a Birthworker and has so much experience with all different types of births (hospital, midwife center and home) so she was able to answer so many questions and provide so much information. She will help you make a birth plan, and has so many great referrals for different specialists. We were so happy we took the class as our birth plan took a turn and we ended up giving birth in a hospital which was not our original plan. would recomend this class (highly) to anyone who's preparing to give birth. I'm so glad that we found Tiffany to be our doula! The prep sessions prior to our baby's birth really helped me to feel prepared and confident in my third trimester. When I went into labor, she met us at the hospital and helped me to move into different laboring positions. Tiffany was wonderful to work with. She was so warm and caring and fit well on our 'team' (my husband and I) from our first phone intro to the end. Her invaluable knowledge, resources, and support helped us prepare for labor and delivery, and life with a newborn and postpartum tips too. When we were unexpectedly induced 3 weeks early Tiffany was with us before and during early labor for any questions/concerns via text/call including overnight, and then came for active labor to help keep me calm and provide direction, support and reassurance for both my husband and I. Her photos were also so amazing to have as we lived the moment she captured tasteful photos for us to cherish. When we saw her for our postpartum visit it was great to relive the experience and also discuss how everything was going with our bundle of joy at home and any questions we had. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for meeting Tiffany. I had dreamed of having a vbac since the birth of my first ended in a c section and I knew it would be important for me to find a doula in order to achieve it once I became pregnant with my second. Tiffany listened to all of my wishes carefully, calmed my nerves, assisted me in being fully educated on all the decisions I was making and most importantly empowered me throughout my entire pregnancy. I know that without I doubt I would be a mama of 2 c- sections had it not been for her. I could never have delivered my 10.2 pound baby without her quick thinking and skill set in the delivery room. An absolute blessing for our birth. My husband and I felt so lucky to have her guidance and support. She came recommended from a friend, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to have her as a part of our journey.
