Long review short: if you are considering hiring Cindy, you should do it. Long review medium: a good friend of mine used Cindy with her kids and recommended her highly. We interviewed her amongst other Postpartum Doulas and we decided to go with a duo team because we thought it would be more reliable if one was unable to make it. Oh boy, we were wrong. That duo ended up being very unreliable despite being two people. It was especially difficult being Postpartum. We were suddenly stuck without any help and just feeling really scared and frustrated. We turned to Cindy, not knowing if she was available or if she would consider working with us. Cindy was already in a new contract (which I'm not surprised by at all). But she welcomed with us with open arms and came by that very night because she had a night off just to help us when we were at our wits end. She offered us any nights she could due to her other contract and has continued to be a source for us in times of need. She is extremely reliable and will always show up when she says (I assume absent a real need) and, for a postpartum mother and father, this is necessary and reassuring. Cindy comes over and immediately takes care of your baby, the most precious thing in the world to you. She actually allows you to get some sleep even if you're breastfeeding and have to get up every few hours. She has tons of expertise and knowledge to help guide you if you want it. On top of it, she made a red date and Goji berry tea and the most amazing Lactation breakfast bars (I woke up to the best smell of delicious baked goods). She folded laundry without being asked and it included some of our stuff, going above and beyond just taking care of the baby. She has provided our family with information and solace as well as a shoulder to lean on with any questions or thoughts. My partner absolutely adores her, as do I. I don't give out five stars lightly, but Cindy is more than deserving. read more

We hired Cindy as our postpartum doula, and it was the best decision. When we first brought the baby home, it felt overwhelming. But having Cindy help us with the baby brought us such calmness. She has such a wealth of knowledge and is so loving and sweet. And not only does she help with the baby, she helped my wife with her recovery as well! If you are at all considering a doula, you can't do any better than Cindy. read more

We hired Cindy since we were so anxious with juggling baby #2 with our active toddler. We are so ever grateful for her post-partum doula services. Cindy joined us on day 4 after our baby boy was born. Even though we were seasoned parents, she was god-send! She came over once a week to help relieve my aging mother who was coming by daily to help me with baby. Cindy helped me emotionally since I was a nervous wreck and had a lot of uncertainty, exhaustion, and lots of newborn/breastfeeding questions! Baby #2 was different from baby #1 in that he was nursing more and latching better and did not need formula. As a result, I felt like a first-time parent! Cindy is very experienced, qualified, and well-versed in newborn care. Cindy helped me with all of my breastfeeding questions from feeding positions to mastitis to how to nurse for the first time in public. She helped to teach me how to give baby a bath, helped to teach me how to calm baby down, and most importantly, took care of baby so I could take a nap during the day. She is a wonderful baker who has baked me delicious lactation bars and also lactation tea. She is very helpful, excellent communicator, and always prompt during her visits. In the 8 weeks that we spent with her, she became part of the family and always a comforting and nurturing support system for us. Cindy has been instrumental in helping me survive the fourth trimester and keep my head up throughout all of my hormonal changes. She was a huge help while I struggled with taking care of two kids for a week while my husband was overseas during a business trip. If we ever decide to have another child in the future, we will definitely ask for her help again. Before meeting her, I did not know what a doula was. After meeting her, I don't know how I survived without a doula! I am sad to no longer have her here with us but I feel much more confident in my abilities with all the tools and resources she has provided to me in order to strive forward and continue on. read more

Cindy is quite simply the BEST! I was a first-time mom that had my baby unexpectedly come a few weeks early. Cindy was flexible with starting earlier than we had discussed, and from the moment that she walked into our home, she seamlessly fit right in and helped anywhere and everywhere that she could help with our transition. From making delightful goji berry tea for me to showing me how to use my pump to folding baby laundry to setting up our baby bottle washing station for us to helping prep for dinner - my family and I looked forward to each of her visits because we knew that she would instill a sense of calmness and love in our home and hearts. She developed a special bond with everyone in the family, and gave me the early confidence that I needed as I transitioned into motherhood. My husband and I could not be more grateful to have Cindy in our lives. She is someone that is authentic, extremely caring, a great sounding board, very experienced and just amazing. I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone that is considering a postpartum doula - she is, without a doubt, your gal! read more

Cindy is the most incredible postpartum doula and I can't imagine surviving those first few months without her, nor would I want to! She truly is an expert in all things baby, breastfeeding, postpartum - you name it! We are so grateful for having such a dedicated professional helping us take care of our most precious little newborn. Cindy has such a lovely & nurturing energy about her- it's like leaving your baby in the hands of a trusted family member without feeling like you have another person in the home to cater to, she is excellent at staying out of your way and giving you privacy. We had Cindy as our overnight doula for the first two months and my husband and I were able to SLEEP soundly which was such a great protector for both of our mental/physical well being. Thank you for everything Cindy! We miss you!! read more

Cindy is amazing! We used Cindy for both my daughters. She is extremely trust worthy and knowledgeable. You will never regret hiring Cindy for your nighttime help. She is loving and caring. Highly recommend. read more

I am so grateful for Cindy's help with both of my daughters. I asked her to return two years later when I found out I was pregnant with my second. She had game-changing advice for early breast-feeding challenges and was always up for hearing & trouble-shooting any concerns / thoughts I was having based on how baby acted or fed on a given day. She made amazing teas, brought healing soups and cooked muffins, cookies and other foods. She has such a calming presence and really helps get you through the fourth trimester. Thanks for everything, Cindy. read more

I contacted Cindy during my second trimester - and I am so glad that I did (thank you Yelp!). Cindy came to work with my family a few days after our baby girl was born. She has a wonderfully down to earth demeanor and helped ease my stressful mind for 10 weeks as my postpartum doula. I know most people have their doulas come help out at night, but I had her over to help me out during the day time and it was the best decision ever as I got the chance to learn so much from her while I was awake. She was there to answer my million questions about postpartum recovery and pretty much how to keep my newborn alive since I was a clueless first time mom. Cindy pretty much taught me all the essentials - I learned how to bathe my baby, how to swaddle, how to mix formula, how to install a car seat and many many more things. She also gave awesome back massages, which I really needed because that back labor had me in pain for weeks! She was a great person to talk to, and that I was something I really needed while in recovery. The 4th trimester was the happiest yet also the most stressful period of my life and Cindy was there to talk me through all of it. (Thank you Cindy :)) I HIGHLY recommend Cindy as a doula for any moms out there looking for help and guidance during their postpartum period. read more

Cindy was amazing and such a blessing to us with our baby girl this year. She went far beyond just watching our precious newborn, but also was first to offer to help in other ways - making us tea or breakfast, folding laundry and anything to make our life easier with 2 kids. We looked forward to seeing her every time, and I could recover quickly knowing she was around. Will 10000% be using her with the next! read more

Where to begin... first off, if you're considering a PP Doula... do it. It was the best decision we ever made. Whether you're a first time mama, or you have multiples, getting some much needed rest and someone to take care of you is worth it's weight in gold. We found Cindy here on Yelp and she was such a blessing to our family in those tough early weeks. My baby was very colicky and Cindy handled my newborn with such care, patience and love. I felt so much trust with her experience and calm demeanor. She is also amazing at helping with breastfeeding, providing yummy food, nourishing tea, so great with toddlers and so much more. She was always there when i needed her and she really became like family to us. We love you Cindy!!! Don't hesitate... book her while you can!!! read more

Cindy Webster Postpartum Doula - Helping brother give his baby sister a bath - Doulas Near Me

Cindy provided a greatly needed sense of calm to our household after the birth of our son. My wife and I struggled with having a baby during covid and not having had any close support from family. Cindy took the necessary precautions to protect everyone and we were more than comfortable having her in our home during the pandemic. Her skills are second to none. She is a great cook, an excellent listener, and a genuinely warm and calming presence in what can be an extremely tumultuous time. Cindy's philosophy is based upon the practice of other cultures in supporting the mother in the "fourth trimester" to really facilitate the best healing and bonding environment. Cindy was able to answer any questions we had as first-timers and experienced enough to let us know what was ahead for our baby. She was able to help provide my wife some female support and just generally give me a break so that I could recharge my batteries. She can cook for you, help sort baby laundry, change diapers, do feedings, walk the dogs, and more. This review comes from the male perspective and I'm probably missing some of the services she was able to provide my wife, but I will say that the work she did in those first few weeks was invaluable. read more

Cindy is an exceptional postpartum doula who provided wonderful care and support for my newborn, my husband, and me as a postpartum mom. She showed great expertise in her ability to take care of my baby throughout the night, ensuring she was always comfortable, fed and content. She is extremely kind and compassionate, and her calming presence helped me feel at ease during a difficult recovery. She shared her knowledge and experience in caring for newborns, answering all my questions and providing useful advice on everything from sleeping and feeding to diaper changing and soothing techniques. She would make delicious bars and teas to help with breastfeeding. She was, also, very kind to our husky! Cindy fit right in with our family as if we had known her for years. Overall, Cindy was an incredible help to our family during a challenging time, and I highly recommend her services to any new parents seeking assistance. We are indebted to Cindy and miss her! read more

Cindy is wonderful - patient, kind, nurturing - all the qualities you would want in someone taking care of your littles. She is also non-judgmental, supportive of you in whatever way you want to feed and care for your baby. She helped me for 10 weeks after the birth of our 2nd child. I never had to worry while Cindy was here and it really helped me get extra sleep and maintain my sanity. "Thank God Cindy is coming tonight" is a phrase I said multiple times to my husband during her time with us. She is dependable, always showed up on time or even a bit early. She jumps right in to work to help out and has just the most gentle and kind spirit. She is also magic with babies. Many times we handed her a fussy, colicky baby and she would whisk her away to the bedroom while laughing and talking so sweetly to her, and we wouldn't hear a peep afterwards! We love Cindy and will miss her terribly. read more

Cindy helped us 2X a week for a month after we had our 2nd baby. It was a relief to have her with us. She knows exactly how to help without needing much instruction. She took care of the baby, folded laundry, cleaned, washed and sterilized bottles, helped tidy up our home, assisted with breastfeeding, cooked dinner, played with our toddler, and offered emotional support. We are so happy we had her help as we made the transition from one to two kids. read more

As a new dad when my wife told me she wanted to hire a night doula my initial thought was that this was an unnecessary cost. But I can say I was very wrong. Having Cindy was an excellent resource and support for our family. She helped put our minds at ease. The nights Cindy was there I was able to get a full 8 hours of sleep which would of never happened otherwise. It was well worth the money and would strongly recommend hiring Cindy. read more

I can't recommend Cindy enough. We had our 2nd boy in Fall 2020 (we already had a toddler who was and is a handful), and it was a stressful time for us--we were in the height of COVID, we did not have family support, and my mother-in-law was declining from a terminal brain tumor. Cindy provided exactly the type of physical and emotional support that our family needed during that critical time of transition. With her arrival at our home each day, there was a sense of joy and comfort that would blanket us. Cindy is a good listener, she is wise, she is conscientious, and she just knows how to make you feel good. The world would be a better place if we could all have such support during critical times in our lives. Cindy became an integral part of our family, and I'm still sad that we don't see her everyday anymore. read more

Cindy was the best decision we made in our first month as first time parents. She was there for us the first night we got home from the hospital and helped us gain the confidence (and the sleep) to cope as new parents. She is so incredibly easy to be around, non-judgmental, and doesn't put any pressure on new parents. She is there to help, listen and encourage you in your first weeks - while allowing you to recover. She helps with all questions related to baby, lactation/breast feeding, diet, and postpartum heeling. I would 100% recommend her for anyone looking for help with a newborn and my only regret is I didn't get her for longer! read more

My wife said a lot of really incredible things about Cindy already in her review (Agatha W). So from the new dad-of-twins perspective, I will tell you this about Cindy: - Cindy is unconditional love. - Cindy is a fairy godmother. - Cindy is magic. - Cindy reassured us and gave us the added confidence we needed to listen to our instincts when making decisions on how to best care for our twins. - Cindy helped our mothers be grandmothers. -Cindy spoiled us. Not because we asked her to. Not because we paid her to. (see first bullet point). -Cindy consistently (along with marrying a rad woman and new parenthood) caused me to question what I did in my life allowed me to be so f-ing lucky. - Cindy played an absolute critical role in building a solid foundation for us to have the confidence to believe in our instinct with regards to how to care for and nurture our kids. I am forever grateful for the love we received and continue to receive from Cindy. read more

Cindy Webster Postpartum Doula - Doulas Near Me

How do I express thoroughly enough how great Cindy is?!? To begin with Cindy brings so much experience and wisdom that she gently shares at one's most vulnerable moments. This provides such a sense of comfort and calm, I felt so reassured! I had some difficulties with getting the hang of nursing and Cindy offered so much sound advice and support, that it quickly turned things around! Not to mention that she made me homemade PostPartum tea, lactation cookies and breakfast bars. Imagine waking up to the scent of baking goodies! I'd highly recommend Cindy as your postpartum doula, you might not even know how much you need her! read more

If you are reading this and considering hiring Cindy as your postpartum doula, do not hesitate and call her immediately! She is absolutely amazing. I am a first time Mom, (Mother By Choice-used a sperm donor to have my daughter). I came home from the hospital after an emergency C-section and was like a deer in headlights. I never anticipated how hard having a newborn would be and also recovering from major surgery at the same time. Cindy was warm, kind, unassuming and so knowledgeable. I learned so much from her. The money I spent to have her with me those first 12 weeks was such an investment in my sanity and peace of mind. She helped me through the difficulties of breastfeeding and made me delicious oatmeal, lactation bars and tea. She provided conversation when maternity leave became isolating (something no one tells you about!). She has a gentle, intuitive way about her. I could get much needed rest without having to worry if my daughter was in good hands. I literally don't know what I would have done without her for the "fourth trimester". She will forever hold a special place in my heart and memories of the first few months of my daughter's life. I highly recommend Cindy! read more

We absolutely love Cindy. She was a fairy godmother in our home after we had our second baby. We loved the meals she prepared for us and it was our favorite evening when she was here because we for to relax and enjoy our little baby more. She was able to take care of so much for us around the house and very quickly, it was worth every penny. She was also sweet and so great with our baby. We're so grateful for the time she spent helping us. read more

We love Miss Cindy... or "Miss Tina" as my 2yo son calls her. We had the pleasure of having her over 4 hours a day for several weeks after recently having our second child. I couldn't have made it through those early days without her. She cooked us breakfast and lunch, prepped dinners, folded baby laundry, held the newborn so I could play with my toddler, played with the toddler so I could nap with the newborn and was an open ear for this stay-at-home-mom to talk to. All of these things combined helped keep me from total depletion and allowed me to be a better wife and mom. I will forever recommend postpartum doulas to new moms, especially Miss Cindy! She has such a fun and loving vibe! read more

TWINS- My wife and I had Cindy as our postpartum night doula for our newborn twin daughters- she was a tremendous help and as others have mentioned, she has a very pleasant and laid back way about her. From the moment we met Cindy, we felt like we were welcoming a family member into our home to care for our daughter at night. My wife and I were both a bit weary in hiring someone to help us out with those challenging early nights, but Cindy made us feel so at ease and blew away all of our expectations. She was a sounding board with amazing advice, a clearly loving and caring doula, and turned out to be a quick friend. We knew our daughter would be in amazing hands each night, and the little extras Cindy would do overnight made us feel loved during a very challenging time. If you are in need of some help with childcare, breastfeeding, or someone to just listen to the woes of the newborn stage, I can't recommend Cindy highlyenough. You will not regret your decision. read more

Cindy has been a godsend!! She is the most warm, loving soul and is truly passionate about babies. She has been helping my husband and I, who are first time parents, with our newborn girl. She is extremely knowledgeable and has been so reassuring when I have had my doubts (whether the baby was latching, if I was producing enough milk, how to help relieve baby's gas, etc.). In times where I have been sleep deprived and run down Cindy has always come to the rescue! In addition to helping with Penelope, Cindy has been like a mother to my husband and I. She's the type of person you feel like you've known forever and is very attentive to my needs. She is always making sure I am drinking enough water and eating enough as well as making sure I have plenty of food for the day/week- and OH BOY is she a good cook! (You are in for a treat- her coconut lactation bars are to die for). There's nothing more important in the world than knowing your child is in good hands and I will be forever grateful that I found Cindy! read more

Cindy is a shining star. We can't thank her enough for all of the kindness, support, and guidance she gave us through these first few months with baby Mark. She was extremely accommodating when he came a week early and was able to start right away. She has been integral to our family and allowed me the time and space to recover for which I'm eternally grateful for. I felt more at ease being a first time parent after taking her newborn 101 class prior to baby Mark's arrival. She is passionate about being a postpartum doula and truly enjoys continuing her education. With her calm demeanor and natural instincts she seamlessly fit right in with our family. She is quite the baker as well and it was such a treat waking up well rested to the smell of healthy granola treats, cowboy cookies, and her special tea! It's no easy task adjusting to the new life with a baby, but Cindy truly helped me find natural balance with my mind, body, and soul as well as to tap in and trust my mamma instincts. We adore Cindy and highly recommend her for your postpartum needs! read more

I can't recommend Cindy highly enough. Her wise guidance and loving support in the 6 weeks after the birth of our son brought so much ease and confidence into our home. She helped make this magical time worry free and took such good care of me, my husband and the baby. Cindy cooked Ayurvedic post partum recipes that I provided for her as well as some traditional Chinese post partum recipes. All of her food was delicious! She is truly talented in the kitchen. Cindy also kept our house tidy and in order, which was a weight off of my shoulders while I cared for the baby. Finally, Cindy took loving care of the baby for 2 nights a week so we could get some sleep. I slept soundly knowing my baby was in the best hands. Most importantly, Cindy was a kind and patient friend during a time of many long nights and days. She answered all of our questions (is he eating enough... too much... does he need to see a chiropractor... etc.) and gave us confidence in our parenting skills. We initially hired Cindy for 6 weeks but as that time is ending we want her to stay for as long as possible! I just hope to hire Cindy again if we have another baby because I can't imagine doing it without her! read more

Cindy is such an amazing person! I can't recommend her enough. She was so caring and considerate. She helped for 6 weeks after the birth of my fourth child. While yes, I'd had newborns before, it had been almost 10 years since then! Let me tell you, recovering was definitely harder for me in my late 30s than it was in my 20s! I really needed to rest and she was so great at making that happen. She also helped with meal prep for my older three children which made my days so much easier. I cried on her last day. Not only was she super helpful, she genuinely felt like a mother figure in my life for the time she was with our family. My own mother passed away 6 years ago and my mother in law, who had planned to come stay with us when the baby was born, was unable to come due to the COVID 19 pandemic. It was truly a blessing to have Cindy come into our lives when we needed the support more than ever. I'll always be thankful for her support and guidance during such an important time in our lives. read more

We knew we needed help, but were super clueless on what we needed. We watched a million YouTube videos and if anything too much information was unhelpful (because 5 videos say one thing and 5 videos say do the opposite). The things we found the most helpful were not in the videos... And for lots of reasons that I'm not going to get into here; our families were unable to provide any of help or knowledge that would have been helpful. We knew Postpartum Doulas help fill that role, but what did they truly did we didn't know. The short explanation is: they are not a babysitter, nanny, or a maid, and what they do depends on what the mom needs ("4th trimester" stuff) - OK, that's vague, but accurate'ish. So they will not watch the baby when you are not home (unless you have an actual life or death situation). They will watch the baby while you sleep or help you get to appointments or make you a snack/meal or run to the store for you. They also help with education and tips/tricks to relax your baby. You see the hospital just lets you take the baby home...and it's super nice to have someone to ask questions about what is "normal"...is he too hot...is he too cold...is he pooping enough...is his poop suppose to look like that...is he suppose to be that color... They can teach to how to trim baby nails and give baths. And other practical stuff like how to clean a bottle, where/how do you change a baby when there isn't a public baby changing area anywhere, and while not a lactation consultant they can help a little with breastfeeding. And when the baby starts getting into the gassy/fussy weeks they can advise you on how to keep your little one happy (for us it was burping, bicycle leg movements, probiotics, gripe water, and simethicone drops). You also get access to their network of people that can help with anything mom or baby might need: chiropractors, lactation consultants, pediatric dentists, other doulas, etc... All of these people are a little "granola" and your pediatrician may not agree with their wicked hippie ways - and you can be like us and listen to the hippies and non-hippies and see what feels right to you. So knowing absolutely nothing and not even knowing what we needed we booked some nights and days. Day one we realized we needed nights and as many nights as we could afford. If we had unlimited money we would book her 24 hours a day for the next year, but we unfortunately we don't...but we are fortunate enough to get her for the hardest part. In our case a little break at night time was wonderfully helpful. I'm lucky I don't need to wake up and feed the baby or pump (so while getting less sleep than pre-baby it's not too bad). Mom was getting 4 to 5 hours a sleep by week two and 5 to 6 hours by week four. My wife also wanted to do a modified version of Chinese Postpartum Confinement, sans the cruel and unusual punishment stuff like not washing your hair for a month. The food for the real Chinese Postpartum Confinement is good for you and your milk - but taste isn't a priority. We got the hardcore Chinese medicine from our Chinese Medicine Doctor in Taiwan. There are some Chinese Medicine places in San Diego, but I couldn't tell you if they are good. For the lighter Chinese medicine we used recipes we had and were able to get most of the stuff on Amazon (some of which still needed to come from China). My wife put together a whole week by week menu using real Sitting Month recipes or from books like Sitting Moon (which have modified versions of the real recipes, followed the spirit of the Sitting Month, and most things tasted better than the tradition confinement food). Tradition confinement food frozen and shipped from LA is an option, but the food can cost as much as $3000 for one month's worth of food. We started the broths and teas in the hospital. Cindy prepared premeasured frozen portions which we kept in our hospital rooms refrigerator. I microwaved the broths and teas as needed. After having a c-section my wife had the real milk come in by day 2 in the hospital. The baby started gaining weight in the hospital. The nurses and even the lactation consultants couldn't believe it. Cindy made all of the smaller meals/snacks/broths for the whole Sitting Month. If you're worried about your milk supply or if you want to do the Sitting Month diet ask Cindy for our modified Sitting Month food menu. Most of the recipes are normal stuff with Chinese medicine added, but some stuff is just good for you...but you might not want to ask too many questions about what is in some of the broths. Our baby will be 6 weeks old this week. I will say that it does get better every day. He generally is only waking up once a night now. If it wasn't for Cindy this would have been way more stressful, but with Cindy's help even the hardest part wasn't that bad - she helped us have time to enjoy the fun moments with the newest member of our family. We are now ever talking about having a second child. read more

I highly recommend Cindy. She is an amazing doula! Cindy spent nights with me when I came home with my baby girl. I'm a single mom and Cindy made sure I got much needed sleep. She also listened to my birth story, baked me lactation bars, made me lactation tea, gave me advice when I asked for it, chatted when I needed someone to talk to, etc.. Cindy is empathetic, kind, smart, experienced, loving and thoughtful. She is so reliable that a new mom can actually relax with her help. Cindy is extremely intuitive and knows just what you need when you need it. She is very respectful and easy to have in your home. I felt like she was an extension of me and I trust her implicitly. You need Cindy. Cindy is the best human in the world. Every person who comes home with a newborn be it their first, second, or third baby needs Cindy. It's hard to put into words how amazing she is and how much she helped me get through the fourth trimester. She is magic. She is a postpartum doula unicorn who can listen and love you, make you the best teas, the best healing meals, fold the laundry, tidy up the house, set the table, take out the diaper pale, give you a mini therapy session when the hormones are all over the place, put your baby to sleep, make you laugh, calm your nerves when life happens, and she would also make time to rub my feet. I don't know anyone else who would do that! She really is the best cook and it was so helpful to have dinner on the table for everyone the first few weeks. She also makes they most delicious oatmeal chocolate cookies you have ever had in your life. She also helped take care of our dogs and they also LOVED her. When the house was starting to feel cluttered she dropped off things at the thrift store. When there was little food and need for food she would go grocery shopping and then would put everything away too. For the weekends she would make sure I had congi ready to heat up so I wouldn't starve! I wish I could have another baby just so I can have Cindy again! You need Cindy. Just do it. *She even prepped my diaper bag and filled it with essentials even four months later I find her tips so helpful! We had blow out while we were out and I was sure I had forgotten wipes and low and behold Cindy put two baggies of wipes. She is a miracle worker! read more

Cindy was awesome!!! She was so warm, gentle, and helpful. We really appreciated how proactive she was in making sure we were all taken care of. Cindy is true angel and consummate professional. She helped me during a very difficult postpartum period. I credit Cindy for giving me the life-long gift of a beautiful postpartum period despite the various physical, emotional, and psychological challenges I faced. With Cindy's loving support, I was able to truly bond with my newborn as well as balance the difficulty of simultaneously caring for a newborn and a toddler. She also offered wonderful emotional support to my husband, who had to return to work shortly after the birth. I miss having Cindy in our home and would recommend her ten times over. There is not enough stars to select for how amazing this woman is! She is down to earth, loving, and a joy to be around. The calm spirit she brought to my home was supurb. This was my first time experiencing a postpartum doula. I am so grateful my husband hired Cindy for me after baby number three. When she came she helped with meal prep, laundry, and allowed me to sleep while caring for the baby. She was well-informed and well-trained. Being that I am a busy body and never stop working I needed her to tell me to rest and to relax so that I could heal. She had me napping each time she came and I would awake to a clean home and dinner. I had her come at the "witching hour" which was the most difficult time for me personally. Part of the postpartum healing she offered on top of her other services was vaginal steaming. I was very nervous about it since I had never heard of it. Being that I tore from birthing I figured I would try it. It really helped to heal the perinium and made me feel so much cleaner. It also took away some pain and discomfort. If I do have a fourth baby I have for sure will be having Cindy come more sooner than I did with baby number three. Women need so much rest time after having a baby. What a great opportunity I had to have an angel Caremark and watch over me and my children. I highly recommend Cindy ! I am also delighted that we still stay in touch :-) read more

Where do I even begin? Cindy is literally a godsend. My husband and I were looking for a postpartum doula prior to having our first born. We met Cindy and were immediately drawn to her warm, loving and comforting demeanor. She is so easy to talk to, lighthearted and has a wonderful sense of humor. After having our boy, we came home and our husband and I were clueless-- we didn't know if we were dressing him correctly, if I was feeding him enough, how to bath him, etc. She was there the entire step of the way to guide us, but still had us lead. She made me this delicious tea, oat bars for breakfast and helped with things like laundry and picked up our place so that we could focus on the baby. I was having trouble nursing in the beginning and she sat with me while I nursed to help me brainstorm what to do to make it easier for me and our babe. During the overnights, I was never worried about our little guy because I knew he was in good hands, which allowed me to actually sleep. Cindy would delicately wake me up whenever he needed to eat and then would change him and rock him back to sleep so that I could go back to sleep right after I nursed. I am telling you... She is a serious baby whisperer. Our little guy would be curled up in a little ball on her chest, fast asleep. When our son was a little older, he started rolling over very quickly and she helped me figure out how to unswaddle him so that he was safer while sleeping. She did ALL of these things, but most importantly, she kept me sane. She was a sounding board when I felt like a complete failure. She always told me what a great job I was doing, which I needed to hear because lets face it, being a new mom is HARD. She let me vent and run things by her anytime. I am forever grateful to her. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Cindy. She is an amazing human and an incredible human overall. Love love love her! read more

Cindy is a godsend, a true angel and amazing at her job. I hired her as my postpartum doula (I'm a single mom) for 3+ weeks after my son was born and it was the best decision I could have possibly made. She was always on time, ready to help with anything that supported both me and my son and that included dealing with my fears and frustrations around breastfeeding b/c it was a challenge for us. She cooked me breakfast, made me tea, and made me food in the middle of the night all while doing baby laundry, organizing things, helping me figure out which bottles worked best with my son, and of course taking care of him all throughout the night so that I could get sleep and heal from childbirth. I interviewed three doulas before choosing Cindy and I am so super happy I chose her. She's amazing and will provide so much more grace and ease for you after your newborn arrives! read more

Cindy was a rock for me during my postpartum time after the NICU. As a new mom of twins and also a single mom, she was patient and flexible with me as I figured out my budget and time needs. She was always kind, thoughtful and loving towards me and my family and taught me a lot about my babies. I will be referring Cindy Webster as a postpartum doula until the end of time. She's truly a joy and wonderful human. I'm eternally grateful to her. read more

Cindy was a savior for us as new parents with the calm, confident and friendly demeanor that we needed. Despite all the research that we did, countless times we were caught off guard or just too tired to think clearly and Cindy helped us talk through key decisions and for us to feel good about them. I would very much recommend Cindy as she made an honest difference for us during the critical early stages of our sons life. She is warm and personable making her a great addition to any post-partum family! read more
