We were blessed to have Angie with us for four weeks with our newborn daughter. She was amazing and helped the transition home with a newborn and toddler (3 years) go so smoothly. Angie was so kind, caring, and helpful to both my girls and really helped me to get rest while I was recovering. The first week, I was still getting the hang of latching my baby, Angie was so helpful during this time and was a source of knowledge and comfort. By week two, when I decided to exclusively pump, Angie was all for whatever worked best for me, absolutely no judgement, but rather she worked with me to streamline the process. Angie was so easy to trust with my newborn, she truly cared and loved her. She would ask how things were going during the day and would follow up with advice. She did all the nighttime feeds, diapering, holding, comforting, helped get my pumping things ready, stored milk, ran the pump parts and bottles through the cleaner, and so much more. She taught m/reminded me how to do things the right way with a newborn and overall made the first few weeks with baby so much easier and happier. It is our pleasure to recommend Edilia, who cared for our son, Liam, as his night nurse. From the very first day, Edilia gave us a tremendous sense of confidence and reassurance during such an important and demanding time for our family. We already have an 8-year-old son, and while welcoming a newborn was incredibly special, we were also navigating the newborn stage all over again while continuing to be present for our older son. School, baseball, work, and the normal responsibilities of family life did not stop simply because we had a newborn at home. We were fortunate to have Edilia care for Liam five nights a week. She was always prompt and communicative about scheduling, which gave us consistency we could truly depend on. Being able to get meaningful rest overnight allowed us to wake up with the energy to care for Liam while also being present for our older son--getting him ready for school, keeping up with baseball, and maintaining the routines that were important to him. Her overnight care was especially important for mom's postpartum recovery. Sleep is so critical during those first days and weeks after giving birth, and having Edilia there allowed Mom to get the uninterrupted rest her body needed to heal and regain her strength. Because we could trust that Liam was being lovingly and attentively cared for throughout the night, Mom was able to focus on recovery rather than operating on very little sleep. The difference was remarkable--by the third week postpartum, she had recovered well enough to attend a baby shower, something we believe would have been much more difficult without the rest and support Edilia helped make possible. Her help was also especially meaningful during tax season, which is an exceptionally demanding time of year for our family professionally. Knowing that Liam was receiving attentive and loving care overnight gave us peace of mind and allowed us to balance a very busy work schedule with the needs of both of our children. It is difficult to overstate how much of a difference that support made for our entire household. Edilia was also generous with her knowledge and supportive of us as parents. She answered our questions patiently, shared her experience when appropriate, and helped us navigate those early weeks with greater confidence. She understood that caring for a newborn also means supporting the parents and the family around that child, and she did that exceptionally well. Having Angie as our nighttime doula was life changing. As a third time mom who didn't have any nighttime help for my first two kids, I was surprised just how much I looked forward to Angie coming each night we had her. I am absolutely blown away by this team of Doulas! They are first class caretakers and truly wonderful humans. Joselyn (Yosie) was our post partum doula for 3 months after the birth of our twins. She was incredible! I don't think I could have made it through those first few weeks without her. She was punctual, knowledgeable , and truly so loving to my babies. I was able to sleep soundly (which I desperately needed) knowing that my babies were being taken care of. Each morning I was provided detailed notes from the night before. This made it incredibly easy for me to understand how the night went and when the babies would eat next. We used Newborn Nurtury for when we welcomed our second baby into our family and could not have been more pleased with the night doula they provided for us! Teresa Erwin came highly recommended, had a wonderful resume, and our personal experience made it bittersweet to say goodbye. Teresa was such an amazing night doula for us during our first five weeks home with our newborn son! Although it's been our second baby, I cannot imagine having gone through this past month without all Teresa's help. We had her come Monday - Thursday, usually 9pm-6am, and her warm smile, kindness and eagerness to help immediately always put me at ease. She's also very easy to talk to and seamlessly felt like an extension of our family. Her help with dishes, laundry, bottle and pump parts, light tidying up around our home (which often looked like a hurricane had hit because we have both a two year and a newborn), and her loving care of our baby boy were invaluable. She understood the importance of me trying to get as much sleep as possible & I was able to stay in bed while she'd bring me anything I needed - baby if I was nursing, clean pump parts if I was pumping, my favorite snacks for middle of the night while I'm a breastfeeding dinosaur (always hungry), and a cup of replenished ice water. And of course, she always prioritized caring for baby, whether it was feeding, changing, getting him to sleep, calming him down if he was uncomfortable / gassy, etc. I have no hesitation to recommend her to other families - we loved having her so much we even looked into extending her time with us another week, but her schedule was already booked. I also appreciated all her recommendations for our son, whether it was his congestion (caused from him eating so much) to his extra gassiness in recent weeks. December 19, 2025 To whom it may concern: Carla Gentile helped us overnight for 16 weeks following the birth of our third child in July 2025. She is extremely knowledgeable and brought a calm and positive energy when she arrived (on time, if not early!) every night to our home. I appreciated that Carla stayed awake and alert during the night, and was able to guide our baby to a nighttime feeding schedule. She is a true baby whisperer and would try different calming and soothing techniques until she found the one that worked best. One night, she arrived with a large exercise ball and it turned out that our baby loved it and instantly fell asleep (this helped us so much with naps during the day!). She also provided thoughtful guidance along the way that helped our daughter sleep better at night. My husband and I were completely confident that our baby was being given the best care possible and this allowed us to get restful sleep. It is evident that Carla adores babies and loves what she does. We have worked with several doulas now, and Carla is by far the best. Our experience with Newborn Nurtury, specifically with Maxine, was extremely disappointing. We were referred by a friend who had a great experience with Donna, and we too found Donna to be professional, kind, and responsive. Unfortunately, she was unavailable for the weeks we needed a postpartum doula, so she referred us to Maxine and Melissa, who, based on other reviews seemed to work together regularly. We met with Maxine on Monday and she explicitly requested that we provide a response by the following week. We informed her that we were still waiting to meet with Melissa and requested she send us a contract for review which she never sent. We met Melissa on Wednesday who confirmed that she could cover the nights Maxine was off. After that we fully intended to move forward with the duo of Maxine and Melissa, and requested Melissa send us a contract which again we did not receive. Then, on Friday morning--less than four days after meeting Maxine and just two days after meeting Melissa--Maxine abruptly informed us via text that she had moved forward with another client. This was before the deadline she had set herself, and she never followed up with us or provided any notice. My wife and I feel confused and betrayed by the lack of professionalism, disregard for commitments, and failure to communicate about the possibility of Maxine moving forward with another client weeks before the birth of our child. We trusted Donna's referral wholeheartedly and had every intention of working with Maxine and Melissa. We understand this is a business and doulas want to fill their schedules, but it became clear that their priority is booking as many clients as possible rather than walking with couples through the process and truly supporting them. If you're looking for reliable, transparent, and ethical postpartum care, we recommend booking Donna or looking elsewhere. read more

I looked into finding a postpartum doula after finding out that this was something I had partially covered through work. This is my first baby and now having had help, I can see how vital and comforting it is to have a doula in your home to help you get through those first months. Donna was a great resource, explained how things worked, and got me connected to a few doulas right away. After a few conversations, we chose Lanny as our doula and could not be more grateful! Lanny has such a deep knowledge about newborns, babies, and moms from her extensive doula experience as well as her own personal experience. I trusted her right away because it really seemed like she had seen it all. The best sleep we get is when Lanny is around, and it allows us to be more present the next day. Lanny gave us confidence as parents as well. She would let us know what she thought was working and what wasn't. It was never in a way that overstepped and was always welcomed. She helped guide us for our first bath, tweaks that could help in the nursery, habits to form early on, how to best use things like gripe water and mylicon, ways to relieve gas. All the little things that can seem really overwhelming are not so bad when you have some guidance. And she was always one text away for questions before our baby came and of course after. I was recommended to Teresa by Donna! And she was a godsend. Being first-time parents my husband and I were a bit anxious to hand our brand new baby girl over to someone but boy am I glad we did. Teresa is kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, reliable, understanding, and warm. The 2nd night in the hospital was a hard one for me. Baby girl kept me up all night feeding, eating, and pooping and she was so fussy. So I had Teresa come that first night when we were home. We had her help us 3 nights for a month and boy did that make all the difference in the world. Being able to hand the baby over and get a full night's rest is invaluable. We love our baby so much and we also needed sleep to function and be present with her in the day. My goal with a night Doula was to get some sleep and to learn things about the baby from her. And Teresa did just that and more. She helped with laundry, she always offered to warm food up and bring water, she was flexible with her schedule, and she gave us tips about baby girls' gas and spit-up. Which was 85% of the reason our girl cried. The gas tips and sleep made our experience so much easier. That first month truly is survival mode for both parents - you're learning as you go while healing with little sleep. We delivered our son ~10 days ahead of schedule and were also right in the middle of a career move to a new state / city with one parent still working long unpredictable shifts and the other on bed rest for 3 weeks of postpartum recovery. Where can I begin? Donna and her sisterhood have become one of the best support systems outside of family. As a first time mom, I had a difficult postpartum but with the knowledge and experience from Donna and the doulas she worked with, we have learned so much and finally starting a rhythm! To start, when our baby was still a newborn, Donna referred us to an amazing night doula, Andrea. She helped not only give us some reprieve but gave us a lot of advice as we worked through the newborn phase and one of our sons regressions. Both were incredible to work with and have a genuine love for what they do. We had the amazing fortune of working with Kirra after the arrival of our second daughter. What a gift. As second time parents, we were seeking someone who would provide us support in a non- judgmental and thoughtful way. Kirra fit that bill! She was caring, thoughtful, and always trying to help troubleshoot the common newborn issues (gas, spitting up, etc). She was also pretty intentional about making sure we were developing healthy sleep habits now to help ourselves later. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK DOULA CAMI AS YOUR NIGHT DOULA!!! Seriously, Cami is the best. I cannot recommend anyone more highly. My husband and I fell in love with her the moment we first spoke to her on the phone. We booked her months in advance, and I'm SO glad we did (she books fast). She not only made my little newborn baby girl feel nice and settled after coming home from the hospital, but she also made me AND my husband feel loved. Every time she came over, it always felt like I was catching up with an old friend I had known for years. I hope you get the chance to see why I and so many other people feel the same way... We learned so many tips and tricks during our time with Cami, and most of all, ***we finally got our sleep back at night***. Doula Cami was by far the best doula I have ever had the pleasure of working with (And I've had plenty...). My one and only regret is I didn't book her longer. Donna set me up with Doula Katherine (Katie) from Newborn Nursery is a consummate professional but more importantly, a baby whisperer! Katie came in on my first night back from the hospital, recovering from a C-section and battling a cold/cough. I was in pain and I felt so vulnerable and helpless to care for my new baby. Katie put me at total ease. She not only watched my little girl but gave me tips and tricks on how to do it when she was in my care as I had not held a baby in 7 years. Katie was the reason my little girl slept 8 hours in the night at 5 weeks. She is reliable, timely, kind and generous. I would absolutely recommend her for anything related to babies (newborn and up!) in a heartbeat. Katie was a godsend! Donna was a DREAM to work with and made sure that we were in the best hands when it came to our night coverage. I called her from the hospital, in pain and having a panic attack. She quickly made calls to get the 5 nights I was not covered by a night nanny filled with some of the best people I have had the pleasure to work with. read more

Lissette was a real difference-maker for us! Three weeks after my son was born, I was still exhausted and struggling to care for my baby - and myself. Our first wonderful doula had moved on to her previous commitment, so I asked Donna for help again finding a superstar for additional doula support. As our new night doula, Lissette swooped in, helped us understand what was possible and how to get there, and established a strong routine with us. Her good work transformed chaos and frustration into structure and thriving. My son is so much happier and healthier now that he can get into deep sleep, go back to sleep if he wakes up, etc. I can't believe how much better our entire household looks and feels now, vs a month ago. And I don't think there is a better investment my husband and I made throughout this whole baby adventure. It is *everything* to be able to enjoy my baby and this precious season we worked so hard to reach. #Priceless I'd wholeheartedly recommend Lissette generally, and especially to families who are wanting to prioritize healthy sleeping habits. And notably, Donna has been terrific - twice now! - in helping me find the support I needed. First Carla and now Lissette have been such valuable caretakers and coaches. Bringing someone into your home to take care of your newborn can feel a little uncomfortable but I can't say enough good things about Darlene! She came in and immediately made me feel so comfortable taking care of my second born. She gave great advice and got mu daughter sleeping through the night by 6 weeks old!!! By the end of the 8 weeks she definitely became a part of the family. Ill definitely miss our late night chats too. Couldnt recommend her enough!! read more

This review is long overdue and it's because I have so much love and appreciation in my heart for Maxine, Donna, and Shazy that I just don't even know where to begin. Maxine was with us from the day we came home from the hospital when our daughter was born. She took such great care of our baby and allowed us to get the much needed rest we needed. In addition to caring for our baby, Maxine really looked after me as well. She was there for me in the middle of the night to help get me through some of the foggy and dark postpartum days. We were so sad when our time with her came to an end. When we wanted to extend having a doula come help us, Donna was able to make sure our family continued to have support until we were comfortable to handle the nights alone. Donna and Shazy were so incredible with our daughter, and just like Maxine, they showed so much care for me too. Donna was tremendously helpful in finding me doulas to help for the first 3 months of my baby's life. Sara was with us for the first few weeks, and then Alessandra took over. We learned so much and it was so nice to be able to get some sleep during the newborn stage, which is always so tough. Alessandra was so amazing with our son, and also with us. We learned a lot. She had the magic touch with our baby and took great care of him. I highly recommend her (and Sara) for the first 4-6 months of life during critical development, especially with establishing sleep and feeding routines. Grateful for the support. read more
