Absolutely unacceptable experience. This restaurant has completely lost our business. My daughter had just gotten off work and was exhausted. The restaurant failed to properly charge her, and she did not realize the mistake until later. As soon as she noticed, she did the honest thing and contacted them herself. She even offered to go back and pay. She was told it was fine -- yet later, she started receiving messages threatening a police report and accusing her of theft. What is most disturbing is that this situation was caused by the restaurant's own mistake, but instead of handling it professionally, they chose to intimidate and put unnecessary stress on a customer who was trying to do the right thing. When she went back, the way she was treated was unacceptable. Businesses need to learn how to communicate with customers respectfully and take responsibility for their own mistakes. If this situation had caused my daughter serious harm because of the stress and anxiety it created, the outcome could have been very different. This is a reminder that the way a business treats people matters. Learn how to manage a business and handle mistakes professionally. Service is ok nothing to write about but they do get food out really quick and they do not make you feel rushed. We ordered a house bottle of wine since it was less than $20. My friend wanted ramen but did not get it because all of their ramen is cooked in pork broth which she does not eat. She enjoyed her chicken katsu. I liked the ramen but it lacked a bit of flavor. Went to celebrate a family members birthday. Service was less than desirable and the food came out at random times, some people would get their food then 20 minutes later another, then 30 minutes later another. The food was cold and not very flavorful. In addition the bill was wrong and random dishes we didn't order were brought to the table and sent back. This is one of the highest rated sushi restaurants in my area, however, if I'm honest, I was off to a rough start obtaining my order. I ordered through Yelp (which uses Grubhub)...turns out this restaurant no longer uses grub hub :(. The reason I mention this is because it made a great experiment. After the whole ordeal, and Yelp/Grub Hub issued a refund, I'm no quitter, so I went to order the same items from the restaurant website. My total was about $10 more. Although I was confused, more than anything I was hungry, so after another 20 minute wait, I was thankfully off with my food (in a very fancy to-go) Although I opened the bag to a few surprises, it was clear that everything was packed with care. First the surprises- No chopsticks were included in my order (this may be on me. I guess I had to actively select to have utensils included)? Second, the crab puff sauce was clear (it tasted fine but the color was new to me). Third, the Naruto roll has very thick cucumbers, and to my surprise I ordered a fried roll (whoops. That's 100% on me). Given those last two sentence I can't say what I ordered was sushi (atleast not the kind I usually order), so I'll have to try again an other day. This review is to: -warn you dear reader to order takeout from this restaurants website instead of a 3rd party -give praise to the miso soup and spicy edamame (which truly is coated well and truly spicy). Everything was great !! Walked over from the Tru hotel. Good selection of Japanese beer including one of my favorites Kirin Ichiban. Started with the spicy Edemame that was warm and not too spicey and a yellow tuna roll. The seafood Udon was also very good. Will definitely come back when ai am back for business. read more

The crazy salmon roll we ordered had the raw salmon feels mushy. You can feel and taste that the raw salmon is no longer fresh. The house specialty lo mein has a strong stale odor. Either the shrimp or the noodle isn't fresh. So we had to return it. They offered to replace with house special fried rice which I just agreed. It took a while for the fried rice to arrive so I asked for the check and will just have the fried rice to go. When the check was handed to me, I was being charged for both the lo mein and fried rice. So I complained and then they removed the lo mein from the check. The shrimp fried rice serving size has gotten smaller but overall it's still a good serving. Their sushi is always a good size. Never enough soy sauce though. The sushi was good, Me and my cousin ordered the spicy salmon and the sushi was fresh, for 8 dollars it's a bang for your buck. After the sushi we both got the hibachi beef which comes with a salad or soup. My cousin stated that the sauce was salty but the soup was good but, we were very disappointed as the beef was tough, not tender, and the rice tasted like day of rice not day before, and needed a little more soy sauce as it tasted unseasoned.
