The food was great. The service was fast, but real friendly. They kept the trays full with a large variety.

dined in today. the forks were dirty, plates still had grease on it from previous customer. very nasty establishment. then was given attitude when asking for new silverware. horrible workers there. woman next to me had her 4 kids and her. overheard the waitress add 3 more kids that came over to the table to talk to their friend. the waitress did this so she could add a gratuity on the bill when the extra kids were not with the lady and her kids. when i spoke up and said that the waitress staff was trying to get over on this lady they became aggressive at me. disgusting food and staff. read more

Seen a little worm in my food. Waitress was nice. She took off $12 from my total, after showing her the little guy in my food. Restaurant seemed clean. Just seems as though they need to rinse their vegetables a little more to make sure no worms are getting eaten with my lunch. I feel sick leaving. This was my 3rd plate. Food was so delicious. But I'm not sure how many worms i ate without noticing it here. I'd never come back after this. Hours later i still feel sick thinking about it. read more

The Yoki Buffet in Cleveland Tennessee. What could improve? The food is mediocre, they have failed health inspections, and the service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced and I have traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe and I can honestly say that I have never had ruder service people. I will not go back to this place and I will not recommend it. We were so excited to have an Asian buffet in Cleveland TN, and we were completely let down by this place. Over all it's much much better than chef wang was not to mention it's by far my top Asian buffet in Rutherford county at this point. We will be back for sure. There's just something about a clean restaurant. I appreciate that the place, compared to the previous restaurant, is a total 180 fr. This place has new owners. Hopefully the new owners stay longer and not sell out. Anyways, other than the cleanliness, they offer a very large variety of Chinese food. To accommodate kids and the local population, American food is offered as well. There are three types of food offered: sushi, stand hot Chinese food, and hibachi. I tried two out of three. I wasn't really hungry, but the food was good. If you've been to a Chinese buffet, Yoki's offers the standard fare. Therefore I picked a little bit of everything. There was the lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, sautéed green beans, and glazed button mushrooms. I picked up a few pieces of sushi as well. I wasn't adventurous so I just got California roll, spicy tuna roll and a vegetable roll. The sushi was OK. The Hibachi is just uncooked ingredients laid out buffet style. You pick stuff, the cook sauté them all together, and puts in on a plate for you. I didn't have hibachi at this visit. I'll try it the next time with the family. Overall it was a good experience. The price was fair. Three people, 3 drinks, and 3 desserts it came out to be about $35. Your mileage may vary. read more

This place just wasn't for me. I really tried to enjoy my meal, but I was disappointed by too many items. The donuts were cooked hard, the lo mein was the worst I think I've ever had, the steak was too chewy/grissily, the shrimp either still had the head attached or wasn't deveined, neither of which I enjoy. The sushi was surprisingly semi fresh for what I was expecting. The cantaloupe was sweet and fresh, the crab rangoons were hot and packed full which I enjoyed, and the bourbon chicken with fried rice was delicious! All in all though, there's nothing that would bring me back here. read more

I have eaten at Yoki many times, you may ask why I continue to eat here if I only rate it 3 stars? Not many choices if you want to eat at an Asian buffet in Murfreesboro. There weekend buffet seems to have a bigger variety then during the week. Went on a Sunday at 5:00 PM and had a 1/2 hour wait. Never had a wait during the week. Very good selection of freshly made sushi. They have an Habati grill station which I have never tried. There is no fresh salad, only iceburg lettuce. They have a large selection of food, most is fair at best. If you are looking for tasty high quality food you will be disappointed. The dessert selection is poor. There is an assortment of fresh fruit, all not very tasty, they have a banana with strawberry topping which is good. A selection of hard ice cream which again is fair. Do I reccomend Yoki Buffet? If you desire to eat at an ok fair priced Asian Buffet in Murfreesboro, and do not have high expectatations, I would reccomend you give them a try. read more

I don't know where to start with this review. Yoki buffet is the best Chinese buffet in Rutherford and Davidson county. The food was always fresh. The service was great. My favorite was the black pepper chicken. My coke was very bubbly and refreshing lol. They bake their crabs with old bay season on top. This was very different for me, but it was very good. A solid four stars for a buffet restaurant. Decent variety of foods. We got there around 5:30 on a Saturday so were seated quickly. It started to get crowded by 6. Foods are hot and fresh tasting. For $18.99, you get to eat decent quality sushi, raw oyster, crabs etc, what more can you ask for? If you feel like eating a variety of foods, go there. Service is good too. read more

Its a buffet so for a buffet I would give it a 4 but overall it was a 3. The star to me was the salmon sashimi. The quality was better than the average sushi place with thick white stripes in the salmon. The bourbon chicken was really good. The coconut shrimp was good and the the butter shrimp was good. I was looking for something new in Murfreesboro and this popped up with some pretty good reviews. Decided to try it out for dinner buffet and was disappointed to say the least. Not very good chinese food in general. I had sushi, different types of chicken, and some random fried things. None of it made me want more. The next night, I woke up with a horrible stomachache and needed to use the bathroom. I ended up pretty violently ill in the bathroom for 6 hours or so, spending the entire next day in bed with a fever and body aches. Turns out I had food poisoning, and I know it was from this buffet. This buffet replaced another one that was in this location for many years. It is completely remodeled inside and out. New staff and a few new foods. Lunch is ~$10 without a drink and includes the hibachi grill. Seating arrangement can be tight if at the table but it is not uncomfortable. Lighting is brighter than before which is a plus. They also have a menu to order specific dishes if not interested in the buffet. Still has a separate "party" room if you want your group all together. Pretty good upgrade over the old Chef Wangs. We've been twice now and were pleased at each visit. While it's not an absolute home run, it has been pretty good. All the hot entrees at the buffets were good as was the sushi. We've yet to try the hibachi but look forward to doing so. read more

This restaurant told a family of a baby with multiple disabilities and blindness, they could not bring their medical stroller into their facility. Looks gross from the outside, but Yoki buffet is actually really clean (for a buffet) with pretty good food! On the weekends be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for a table! Definitely a higher class of food than Golden Corral style buffets. My wife is gluten intolerant and she was able to find some sushi/food safe for her as well. read more
