After realizing this and looking through our pictures, we found out that not only do we sit at the same table every time, but also order THE SAME meal! He has the Scampi Marguerite Pizza ($26) and I, the house made warm 3 cheese melt with bread and apples ($16) with various drinks. This time around I had a hot green tea and he, a coke. Service is always exceptional. And I swear there are more items on the menu than what we order! This Sunday, there was a live band which was a nice touch with our afternoon meal. The whole atmosphere makes us gravitate there whenever we visit Piedmont on our day trips. There is a full functioning bar on one side and a mini market / ice cream shop in the summer on the other side. I think the versatility is very creative for the space. Definitely be back in 2028 hehe but hopefully sooner!

The crab cakes melt in your mouth, the complimentary bread is fresh and warm. The menu is eclectic, offering everything from fresh seafood and creative appetizers to steaks, pasta dishes, salads, and seasonal specials, so there's something for just about everyone. In the summer, the outdoor garden is especially charming. With its tables tucked among the greenery and an outdoor bar, it feels romantic, relaxed, and a little bit like you've escaped the suburbs for the evening and found yourself in the heart of a tiny European street at a village restaurant. The dining room is surprisingly spacious for a Piermont restaurant, yet still remains intimate. Between the sidewalk seating that brings a bit of a Parisian café atmosphere to the village and the beautiful garden out back, there are plenty of great spots to enjoy a main fish or a few appetizers .... or both. And while drinks can vary depending on who's behind the bar, my favorite bartender there makes a truly excellent cocktail (no names). Overall, a great place for sitting at the bar and mingling with whoever is sitting next to you, or dinner with your special person.

I grabbed the hanger steak, the shrimp and scallop pasta, and a peach margarita. The service was top-tier, too. We were there for brunch, but the chef didn't mind making us stuff off the dinner menu. They even brought out some creme brulee on the house at the end. Definitely a great patio in the back and wonderful ambiance. I just wish I dressed more casual instead of shorts and a hoodie lol. Also, for those coming by, Parking D is free. Definitely a great spot if you want quality food and people who actually treat you well. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is known for authentic Spanish small plates, generous paellas, imported Spanish ingredients, decadent desserts, and wonderful warm bread to start your culinary meal with. Abdul and Roberto make a perfect drink, whether it's a simple Espresso Martini or their house-made sangrias. . All this in a warm and friendly setting. The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. Thank you Benny for bringing Piermont to our neighborhood. *For those across the river in Westchester, enjoy Basque in Tarrytown.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the Tappan Zee Bridge, the intimate Spanish restaurant offers an experience that is both approachable and memorable. Where some menus can overwhelm diners with endless selections and unfamiliar terminology, Basque takes a more refined approach. The menu is modest yet thoughtfully curated -- ideal for those exploring Spanish cuisine for the first time. Begin with a selection of tapas before choosing from one of their signature paellas, including seafood, meat, vegetarian, or surf-and-turf options. Pair the meal with a pitcher of sangria and settle in while the kitchen prepares a dinner worth savoring alongside good conversation. Beyond the meal itself, the village of Piermont provides the perfect setting for an evening stroll along the river. It is a charming way to end the night before heading back across the Hudson and down into New Jersey.

Didn't think to check if they were honoring that given the holiday, since it turned out to be first come first serve no reservations. Inside reservations were being taken, there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Our party of 3 ordered the octopus and an arugula salad as an appetizer. The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed. We probably could've used a bit more attention from the waiter after we were seated, as we would've liked another cocktail, but overall a great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

That said, if you're craving raw fish it's convenient for a Piermont resident, affordable, easy to get a table, and takeout is always an option. A lot of the menu leans toward rolls drenched in heavy sauces which makes it hard to tell just how fresh the fish really is... or isn't. But if you order a sushi entrée, it does come with soup and salad. They also serve Nigori sake, not always a given at more middle-of-the-road sushi spots, so that's a definite plus if you like the milky stuff like I do. It's easy, it's quiet, and they'll occasionally throw in a few extra pieces, which is always appreciated. Being right off 9W makes parking simple, proving that in Piermont easy parking does still exist, even if it's not where you expect it.
