I've come to this location a few times and every time they have great customer service. Today there was only one employee in the front but there were only three customers so it was fine. They have the sample cups in the front so you don't even have to ask for them. Yogurtland is perfect for the summer and they had all the flavors I wanted. Even though I went at 9:30pm they still had a lot of fruit and it looked fresh and it also tasted delicious. My only complaint was that they did not have peanuts but that's okay I still enjoyed my frozen yogurt. Tip: download the app so you can get points every time you go and then use the points to earn discounts. Also follow them on Facebook so you can see if they have $5 unlimited cup days. Really like this location. Lots of flavors of ice cream, lots of toppings and the employees are always nice. My hubby on the other hand thought this place was like menchies, where you get your cup and price is based on just the size of cup, so he went super crazy lol and the weight of his cup was more than mine. But anyways, super good desert. I'm lactose like crazy and really enjoy this location, doesn't affect me. As for South Gate ca Yogurtland I like it way more than the Downey locations. I was ready to give a five star review but unfortunately the service was very uninviting from someone who is making your food. We waited there for 3-5 minutes outside the food truck, not a Greet not a "one second" nothing. There were no others in front of us that were putting in orders. These workers lie about items that are out of stock. If you just wait a minute they'll refill whatever you asked for after you leave! I brought it to the workers attention that the fudge was out and he said "we're all out" and I said "completely out?" Mind you there were two workers literally standing behind him doing absolutely nothing but talking. I used to doubt this place because the toppings were not that great but today I went in and they had a lot of options. They even had whipped cream, and they never had it before in the past! We used to always asked for it but they used to say after a certain time they wouldn't bring it out and we wouldn't even go that late! Yogurtland is a nice place to go when you're looking for a little snack. Their toppings are very diverse with gummies and fruits to cookies and chocolate syrup. Their line is usually small from 12PM-2PM but it does start filling after 3PM. Regardless, the line is very quick and the rewards app is really helpful. I've frequented Yougurtland sporadically at various periods in my life. It's a mainstay for a reason and reliably churns out solid frozen yogurt with a diverse array of toppings. As the pandemic starts to fade you'll be helped by staff the entire process, but in 'normal' times you would fill your own cup with frozen yogurt and then spoon as much of the candy or fruit toppings you'd like. Having an associate do everything for you doesn't change the quality or taste of the finished product. The prices are by weight so the ball is entirely in your court. I visit this location often and I've yet to have a bad experience. The staff greets you as soon as you enter and if you have any questions they are more than happy to help. It can get pretty crowded and busy at times but I'm usually in and out in about 10 minutes. Seating inside is limited so it's probable that you'll find yourself sitting outside which I recommend. Outside seating is comfortable, spacious, and a better option if you have kids. They have many flavors and many toppings to choose from. I'm more of a strawberry yogurt with fruit toppings kinda gal. Fruit variety is important to me and they have it. They also have an ample variety of the fun and sweet toppings that kids enjoy. read more

First time here and while I was paying for my order, my 4 yr old, who's Autistic, was fiddling around with some broken plastic thing that looked like a out-of- order debit card slot. I don't mind my kid being corrected, but at least do it in a non-condescending manner and without the attitude. My suggestion: Please know that all kids aren't misbehaving. Just stopped by this Yogurtland location. It was very messy. There was melted yogurt on all of the stations, people had left their unwanted cups of shakes and yogurt on the stations as well, they did not have two flavors coming out of the machine, and the samples that did come out were watery. Honestly the samples made me feel like I was drinking melted ice cream with saliva so I just left the facility. Excited for yogurt, then turns into disappointment. You pull the handle, nothing comes out. You pull another handle, nothing either. The machine has lights that are blinking like crazy. You tell the employee that nothing is coming out, they juggle the machine. You tell the cashier, and he is not fazed at all. We are told that company policy is that the machine cannot be filled till they are all emptied. A customer comes in and she pulls the handle and it works for her. This is like hidden camera, when we pull nothing comes out! When someone else pulls, something comes out. The one star is for the unhelpfulness of the employees! They are not friendly.
