The flavors we tried were HappyYo, Red Velvet and Salted Caramel. This was my first time here but my girlfriend's been here a few times, by far my favorite flavor was HappyYo! They had a limited selection of toppings but lots of good choices. They also do price by size not weight, the smalls were 7$ a piece. The employees were nice, not much else to say it's all self serve after you pay. It was a little quiet but still plenty of people in there when we went, looked like a couple family's. I am shocked at the condition of this place. It used to be loved by our family, we used to come often and after the long winter we came again and I was appalled by the disgusting mess everywhere. Disgusting is an understatement. Not only did we have to stand and wait for the longest time for a worker to approach the cash register and check us out, but as soon as she finished she went into the back again to scroll through her phone (she put her phone into her pocket when she walked out and took it right back out as she was heading back there). The floors look like they haven't been washed in months, the tables hadn't been wiped probably once that day, all the topping stations were dirty and empty and multiple of the ice cream machines were pouring melted soup out, not cleaned out at all. I hate leaving a bad review but I have to agree with everyone else's review on just how filthy this Yogurt Lab is. Which sucks since there's not many frozen yogurt places left in the area. I've been here about 5 times now and each time I come in it isn't clean. The last time I came in the froyo even tasted a bit nasty (maybe moldy??) to me. I couldn't finish it just because the thought of it being bad yogurt just made me feel ill. The workers are all super nice but I think they're just very understaffed. Would be a decent place to have froyo but the experience is marred by poor service and the need for a deep clean. I've been here a couple times and it's been the same both times. Waiting too long for an employee to come out of the back to ring us up and a store visibly in need of cleaning. There's often yogurt spilled and splashed on the floor and all over the machines. Your shoes squeak and stick and you're crunching toppings under foot. The toppings tables are a mess with toppings falling into other containers, stuff on the counters and on the floor. I want to start this by saying I used to love Yogurt Lab so much. This wasn't my preferred location, but I know several locations closed. This one is the closest to me. The last time I was at this location was last summer. I don't remember it being like this. First off it's disgusting in there. I mean the entire restaurant looks like it needs a bleach scrub down. There was ice cream on the walls, the floor hadn't been cleaned in awhile, and the trash can yuck! The flavors will still the same. The actual toppings bars didn't look too bad, well not the part where the food was. The rest needed to be hit with the bleach scrub down. The staff was pleasant and polite. The yogurt tasted like paste. I got the birthday cake and cheese cake. When we went in no one was at the register until 2 mins, looked empty upfront but there were some customers. This place makes you pay for your size cups and then you grab your flavors and toppings, which is nice better than them weighing everything. I was nearby, the weather was unusually warm and we had a hankering for ice cream which led us here. The concept was very intriguing and I was happy to see that they had non-dairy and sugar-free options however these accounted for only three of the 12 or so flavors so that was a little disappointing. I had the non-dairy strawberry which was really tasty. There are a ton of toppings which makes it hard not to go overboard. The hubby suggested that if we ever go back we should put the toppings in first and then the froyo. It would make it easier to eat and you won't feel disappointed when you get to the bottom and find out you've already devoured all of the goodies. They let you sample as much as you want. The sample cups are there for anyone to take which made it weird that you had to get the spoon from the cashier. This used to be our family's favorite place to come and enjoy a moment. The last few times I was here I was not happy with how dirty it looked but thought may be a bad timing and the place had just not been cleaned during busy shifts but tonight is really bad. The restroom looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks. You can see in my pictures how bad the sink is and I did not want to post a toilet picture so you won't get to see that...lol. The whole store floor was filthy and sticky. The soft serve area and topping area was absurd...we did not take any toppings, obviously. If it was not for the fact that my five years old daughter was so happy to come here, I would have left. Terrible. First thing when we walked in it smelled like chemicals. Once we got our cup the yogurt machines were FILTHY and not working right. Toppings area was the most disgusting, they were all mixed together and barley any left, the spoons were dirty and my hands got covered in whipped cream, the area where the topping were, we're all sticky and covered in toppings. This is the closest and yummiest place to my house. I love, love the yogurt tart! It's basically like every yogurt lab ever, except for two things. One, you need to buy the cups at the counter. Not sure why, but that's different from other locations I've visited. Secondly, most of the time I come in, it's not very tidy. The floor is often dirty, the toppings all over the place, and they're always out of at least one thing I like on my yogurt. Last Thursday my wife and I had a date night w out the kids so we went out for dinner and as always we come to this Yogurt lab for dessert. I can not express this enough by writing a review but My wife and I can not believe how this placed had changed in customer service. Before we use to get a "hello", and Yes we do understand due to Covid restriction there are things you wanted to limit. But why offer different flavors that I've never tasted before and expect me to just buy it w out tasting it......?! Second, who ever was working wasn't cleaning the fruit area and the topping area. Luckily we didn't have our 10 yr old who is highly allergic to nuts, the entire topping area was cross contaminated from one thing to another!!! And if I knew that the staff wasn't going to cut any more fruit or replenish the other toppings we wouldn't of come to this location. And yes we were there at 7-715 pm.......is that closing time? I manage a Retail Store and I will be honest w you, we do not finish working til it says it's we are close. We stopped here on a typical summer night in MN. It was fairly busy. They had 3 teenagers running the place and it was in horrible condition. The containers holding the toppings were all empty and so so messy. Very unappealing. A lady was asking for some Oreo cookie mix and telling them how everything was a mess and whatever yogurt she wanted was not coming out. One of the girls behind the checkout was telling her how busy it has been. With 3 girls working, two of them could have been on continual clean up. Typical place being run into the ground by lazy unsupervised teenagers who don't give a flying you know what about the place. This was the Eve of June 22. We will not return. I am so tired of how dirty this place is every time I visit. Tonight there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and there were toppings all over the floor. I told the teenage employee about the toilet paper and he said he would check to see if there was more, then did nothing. It is shocking that there is never an adult over 20 years old working there during busy times on the weekend. This place needs some serious management to make it worthy of being in Maple Grove. After a crazy day on Saturday, we decided to end the night before taking in the Wild game with some froyo. Both of us have wanted to try Yogurt Lab for a long time, after trying other froyo places, but, never got to... until this faithful Saturday. There are a lot of sample cups set out on the front counter, which is a great thing for a froyo place. And the staff was more than happy to recommend a flavor combo, some ok, some not ok. But, we tried them anyway. Anyways, the amount of flavors aren't too bad. I'd say around 20'ish flavors to choose from, and a topping bar that is amazing. Fruit toppings were amazing. Tons of berries that were all actually fresh. Not just a ton of crap soaked to the point of being a soggy mess in a tray. Lots of fruit bobas to choose from that provide a different texture and flavor blast. And a few fruit mocchi options too that really add more flavor. Dry ingredients from the dispensers... everything and anything. Graham crackers, candy bar pieces, cereals, dried fruits - pretty much everything possible that you could imagine, can be poured into your froyo. Then, we hit the dry lab station. And these sunstabitches decide gummy cubs are an acceptable topping. I wasn't allowed to flip into Tasmanian devil mode and devour the entire trey, but, I was close had I not been restrained. Cheesecake bites, chocolate covered grahams, and all sorts of cookie toppings. Plus, wet ingredients like chocolate syrup, maple syrup (wasn't real maple, but, they tried), even olive oil if you're into that. Cocoa powder and powdered sugar as well. Just a crazy mess of stuff. We both looked at each other, and as I almost died for trying to take the last raspberry in her cup, we agreed this was the best froyo place we'd ever been. read more

This is my favorite spot for frozen yogurt in the Maple Grove/Plymouth MN area. They're are a wide selection of flavors, so you know you can always find one (or three) flavors that fit your cravings. The topping selection is vast and it is kept very clean. You pay buy size, not ounce at this location so you can feel free to fill your bowl up! The only times they have been out of things was on a summer day that was more than 100degrees out- so it was to be expected for a frozen yogurt shop.
