Big variety of drinks.

My daughters and I stopped by here on a whim. It was a hot Saturday and we needed a cool treat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a boba place here in STV. The store is very clean, fresh and inviting. They serve all kinds of drinks including smoothies, slushies, milk tea, Italian sodas and coffee. They also have frozen yogurt with a plethora of toppings offered. It's one of those pay by the ounce for the yogurt things. The owners helped me that day and they were SO kind. I even made a mess and spelt my milk tea all over the floor and they didn't seem bothered at all. Told me it was no problem and made me another drink. They were so nice about it even though I felt bad for making a mess! We will be making YoBoba a regular stop now. Anytime we want a treat and something to cook us off, we will head to YoBoba!

Adorable business!!! We didn't try the frozen yogurt, but it was so clean and fresh looking. We had some boba drinks and they were so yummy! The couple that helped us were both so so sweet! Will definitely be coming back!

Drinks tasted awesome but was given a limited menu an hour before close. Ran out of bobas, and 1/2 of the frozen yogurt.

Dirty dirty dirty. The toppings were warm the fruit was dried up and there's an empty fish tank with dirty algae in it.

The smoothie is a blended ice. Fast and easy service. Quiet inside. I have tried many Black Rock drinks. It's likely that I would get the strawberry smoothie or the green apple smoothie again. I might get the iced matcha with strawberry cold foam again. I would get the pumpkin chai flavor again. I would like to try the pumpkin chai against their basic chai at the same time to compare. I also had their chai with vanilla and lavender cold foam in the past, but having had it not the same day, it's hard to really compare. The Oreo Chiller is a blended mocha with oreos. I couldn't taste the Oreo as the coffee flavor was strong. Good for those who like a strong coffee flavor.

Heartbreaking Experience from a Place We Loved…read more My husband and I have been loyal customers of this Black Rock location for a long time. The place is nicely decorated and the staffs have always been amazing. It used to be our favorite treat spot in San Tan Valley, and we've never had an issue--until now. We each ordered our usual drinks: one with soy milk, one with almond milk, since we are allergic to dairy. Unfortunately, both drinks were made with whole milk, and it's not just a theory--we've had severe reactions for the past two days, including constant diarrhea and stomach cramping. I noticed the taste was a bit off, but I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe I was just being picky. I wasn't. This experience has left us shaken and honestly scared to order again. Food allergies aren't a trendy preference--they're a health risk. Please, train your staff better on milk alternatives and allergy safety. It may seem like a small mistake, but it has had a huge impact on our health and trust. I'm really disappointed to leave this dramatic-ish review, but I hope it helps prevent this from happening to someone else.

I gave this place a 1-star review 10 years ago, but they have really turned this place around for the better. The quality of the food is good and the salads are always fresh. Only 2 small complaints: 1. Wish they had garlic sauce. 2. Still hoping that one day they will offer rice (in addition to fries), especially on the Greek Platters. Definitely one of the better restaurants in STV!

That's BS even googling this scenario they say a place should not delay your order for a later order. Won't be going to this place anymore. Edit: the owners response is asinine. If they had some big order that was before mine, they should have told me the pickup time that I requested could not be fulfilled. And if the owner can read, I stated that I walked in for my pickup, they charged me, and then told me I have an additional wait. I wouldn't go here if I were yall, if they cannot be transparent, I question if they are taking other portions of the business seriously. Now the "under new managment" makes sense.

Reservations were easy to make online and were confirmed quickly but beware that your confirmation email might get filtered into your spam folder which is what happened to mine. Our table was ready and waiting for us. We had the afternoon tea for three which included a varied selection of finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and scones. Two pots of tea are included and we chose the pudding tea and the gingerbread tea. Both teas were delicious and the gingerbread tea was nice in that it's caffeine free. All the food selections were fresh and fantastic. I would venture to say that I liked the food selections even more than at the previous location! While this new spot isn't as lavish as the golf resort it was previously at, the interior is still charming. Service was very friendly and we were checked on as needed.

Dear Mark C., I…read morefound the Quirky Royal Tea Room on YELP, however I pray that the commumity won't risk their health by eating at your restaurant. I came to your so called Tea Room on Dec. 14, 2025, with two of my dear friends to celebrate a birthday. It started out with us having a terrible time just finding your location. There is absolutely no signage on your store front and its very apparent that you must be struggling, due to your choice of being in a very run down strip mall. You say on your Yelp site that your Tea Room is classy, however, what we walked into was not the case at all. I would say it's very "tacky ". And, what is very interesting is that most of the pictures on the Yelp app. are a misrepresentation of your Tea Room. It doesn't look anything like where we were expecting. Except, for the pictures with the pink walls. What a disappointment for my myself and my friends birthday celebration. The food appeard to be all store bought, even though you say you have a baker on site. That is really hard to believe, based on what we experienced. The tea wasn't even warm and and what else surprised me was that the napkins were paper and the water cups were plastic. Yet, here's the aweful part, we had to rush one of my friends to the hospital. Approximately half-way through our meal, one of my friends had to be rushed away due to a sudden and horrible stomach ache, severe pains, a complete loss of facial color, and she could no longer sit in her chair. All she wanted to do was to lay down. We almost called 911, not knowing what was happening. It was that bad. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was diagnosed by an emergency room doctor with a case of food poisoning. It was confirmed that she hadn't eaten anything so far that day, except the food items at the Tea Room. She ultimately had a stomach ache and cramps for almost a week, following this incident. Just a few days later, our birthday girl also went to the hospital ER with stomach cramps, and ultimately had to spend 3 days in the hospital herself. In a later conversation between the 3 of us, we recalled that two us had in fact eaten the same lunch meat sandwiches. I did not eat these sandwiches and never felt these ill symptoms. Once my friends felt better, we went to talk to yourself, since you were confirmed to be the manager in charge. We made you aware, Mark C., that we in fact had documentation from the ER doctor that our friend had food poisoning from her only meal that day. Upon presenting our situation with Mark C. in a very calm and polite manner, explaining to him our experience that particular day, we simply wanted him to refund our $130 spent for that meal that day. At this moment in time, she hadn't even mentioned the cost for the ER hospital visit. It was only our intention to recover the cost of the meal. Shortly after our initial meeting with Mark, he became very rude to us. He kept insisting that there is no way she could have received food poisoning from this restaurant, saying that it takes a full 24 hours for symptoms to occur. In doing some research, this is what I found: "Food poisoning can strike from as quickly as 30 minutes (like with Staphylococcus aureus toxins) to several days or even weeks later (like Listeria or Cyclospora), depending on the germ or toxin, with common bacteria like Salmonella or E. coli often causing symptoms within hours to a couple of days. Viruses like Norovirus usually appear within 12-48 hours". Shortly after, in the same conversation, Mark told us to take him to court, to which we were very shocked that a manager and business owner would respond to us in the manner. It was at this time that we suggested we may report him to the Board of Health and let them sort this out. We simply wanted our money back and then we would then leave without so much nonsense. There absolutely was no bargaining with you Mark C, or the big words you seem to like to throw around like extortion and blackmail. All over $130. Shame on this man!
