I've been to Nekter before at other locations, and did not even know that a new location was slated to open near me. The good news is that by the time I knew about it, the location was open for business! The Protein Power bowl is my favorite!! It's pricey (but what isn't these days) at $13 for a bowl, but it's full of really fresh ingredients and the bowls are big enough to share. It's tucked away in the plaza, but always refreshing. **Request for this and all Nekter locations** Please offer smaller size of bowls. My daughter can never finish the bowl or days when I want a bowl but not necessarily that many calories. read more

Came in around 1:15 on a Friday. There were two workers and a customer at the register. The customer was having trouble with her card and had to go get another card out of her car. The worker put her order on hold and asked me what I would like. I ordered the peanut butter bowl menu item with no strawberries on top, more banana instead and the worker asked if I wanted agave, which I did. The description: "A healthy snack or post-workout filled with protein, the PB bowl is a peanut butter lovers dream come true! Unsweetened Acai blended with pineapple, plus banana, strawberries, dates, peanut butter, and housemade cashew milk for the perfect consistency, topped with hempseed granola, fresh strawberry, green apple, and banana. 570 cal" My bowl lacked that. It was missing peanut butter and I ended with just bananas/strawberries. Which has never happened. The workers seemed overwhelmed. When a group of 4 people came in. She kept coming back and asking the customer if she wanted no banana and strawberries. Also two people came in for their online order and worker was confused. Maybe the workers are new and need more training? When a customer orders does the order not print out what the customer asked for, that the worker has to keep asking, what the customer what they wanted or get the order wrong? In which my case got it wrong. Usually my experience at this location has been positive. They just missed it for me today. $11.85 for a tasteless item. Reason I didn't go back is I'm not from this area and was headed back home. Only to be disappointed when I got home. Inside of store was clean and has a few seating areas. I just went into Nekter. There were 4 people in the whole place. They, didn't greet me or try and take my order for 5 min. They finally came up to greet me and told me it would be at least 15-20 min to get to my order. Yes, it was Chandler Heights. I would not have posted this interaction if I was not quoted a time. I came here for a smoothie and was not disappointed. I've had a migraine for about a day and a half and got a wellness shot along with the elderberry smoothie. The smoothie was so freaking delicious and the wellness shot was effective, hopefully! The service was wonderful as well! We were greeted with a smile and helped by a very friendly team member. I went into Nékter off of Chandler Heights and Higley in Gilbert today, safe to say i was extremely disappointed in the customer service. My boyfriend and i walked in at 5:10 ( it closes at 5:30) and the girl working came out irritated already to have seen there were customers. She proceeded to ask me what i wanted so i asked for a Celery Juice. She then told me that they would not be able to do that since they had already started closing... EARLY. I was extremely disappointed to be turned down when they were still clearly open. Working in any food chain you don't turn customers down until you are completely past closing time. Just because of this location, I prefer Nekter over all other juice bars that I have ever been to. They actually remember my name and always greet my son and I with a warm welcome. My son LOVES it here! He's always especially excited to see Payton and Brooke. (He gets the dragon fruit bowl with extra strawberries) This location always has such a great ambiance and always amazing service. Came in with a coupon for $2 off that I got from another local food establishment. There is no "rules" on the coupon as to what size you "HAVE" to get so I ordered my $9 smoothie for my 2 year old and the worker advised the smoothie had to be a large. I told her and showed her it did NOT state that on the coupon and that I have used this coupon before on a small smoothie. We come here OFTEN for my daughter. She would not honor the coupon. TERRIBLE customer service!! To save your company $2!!! My 2 year old cried once we got outside because she didn't get her smoothie. Out of all the Nekter locations that I have been to, this one is the worst and it starts with the manager! She is rude and doesn't take responsibility for anything! It always comes back to somebody else's fault. She also likes to claim that the other Nekter locations are doing things differently and that her location is doing things "the right way". If by being rude to your customers and chasing off business is "the right way" then I want no part of this business! I'm a regular customer that has always come each Sunday looking forward to my Acai Superfood Bowl with a smile expressing my gratitude and thanks for the good service, (that I expressed I didn't receive at a different Nekter location.) But that changed after Sunday November 12th, 2023 at approximately 10:35 am. The two girls working that morning (name of one was Payton on my receipt,) decided they would just sit there and listen to the phone ring three times in a row knowing it was me calling as I always do on my way 1-2 minutes away so they can get a start on my order being how it takes them a little while to make, being how I'm rushing for church 45 minutes away. They had assured me previously that it was okay that I call to order, but that I could use the app too if I would like. I said I'm unable to use the app. They said that's okay since it's only me making a small single order by phone. I said thank you I appreciate that. So every time it was never a problem. Well apparently the two girls must have been very annoyed by it and too lazy and irritated to pick up the phone this time knowing it was me! I caught her in her bluff when I walked in and saw how dead it was. I said it's very quiet in here there are no customers, yet you can't answer my phone call?? I said, apparently you have caller ID? She tried to lie and tell me that their phone wasn't working lol. Well I knew better than that. Then at the same time she tells me they don't typically do orders by phone. I said you guys have been doing my single order with no problem and I've been very kind every time I come in. And now they decide to do this? It's extremely rude and horrible customer service no matter how you look at it. I also think its discrimination if you ask me. Not everybody has an app on their phone. They make me feel that it's okay the last several Sundays making an exception since it's only me being a regular with a small single order. And then they decide this particular morning to just sit there while the store is completely dead and be lazy and annoyed by my phone call? It's just plain rude. First of all spending $15 for a smoothie is downright expensive! But you know what... to some people it might be just that smoothie, or that coffee, or whatever treat it may be that starts their day off right and makes them feel good. It was very and childish of those girls. You lost a customer. But then again I realize it's no loss to these two girls that would rather sit there and be lazy then answer the phone cuz they knew it was me. I know the phones worked because I had someone test it out right after the fact, while they answered it and giggled. Sad this young generation today, that they can't find joy in making someone's day a little brighter.
