Visited on a Saturday afternoon after dim sum. It wasn't busy. We had a decent sized group with 4 separate orders. There seemed to be only one person taking orders and making drinks. I ordered 2 drinks. One of my drinks came out fairly quick (after the the line of orders were taken). But then more people came in and ordered. My second drink was forgotten about. I think I asked about my second drink about 20 mins later and she began making it (Vietnamese iced coffee). There were also other customers that were waiting unnoticed to place orders. Drinks were okay/decent. They did let me sample a couple milk teas when I wasn't sure what I wanted. read more

We passed by this place after eating dim sum next door. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the milk teas were a bit disappointing - there was no tea aroma, a lack of creaminess, and too much sugar. Be aware that the Matcha Milk Tea they offer has matcha and milk tea in the mix, instead of matcha and milk as in Matcha Milk Teas offered at other places. read more

New cute boba place that I found by accident! So glad I went in before their grand opening so I was able to get their deal which was buy two get one free! Their taro was impeccable! The mangonada was pretty good but too sweet for my taste. While I wasn't able to taste the last drink, which was milk tea, the person who devoured it said it was fantastic. All of forgiven because I'm pretty sure we'll go there again and I will definitely have to grab my own milk tea! Lol read more

Came in 10/7 ordering 2 drinks and mozzarella. They never gave me the mozzarella and I forgot about it. So by the time I left and realized, they were already getting ready to close. I called back and they didn't pick up. So the next morning 10/8 I called them back asking about if I could either just redeem it next time or get my money for it back. The girl just decided to hang up on me. I don't know why their employee was so rude to not even be able to say anything to me. Just hanging up on their customers is a thing for them I suppose. Never coming back if that's how they treat their customers. Definitely wouldn't recommend due to customer service. Edit: The owner responded promptly and fixed the situation. Super sweet. I looooooove Yoba Hut! Whenever I have dim sum at Great Wall, I stop in. Occasionally I pop in to grab a milk tea with boba at lunch. Or I pop in randomly when I have a craving. I always get great service, it is always exceptionally clean (as in spotless), and my drinks are always delicious. The jellies are all good, and their honey boba is also delicious (the first time I went, it was a bit hard but every other time since, it has been perfect). I have never tried the yogurt, but I hear good things about it. Today, I had a craving... at 845pm. They close at 9. I raced over, got there at 858 and got great service with a smile as usual. They were out of the honey boba (sad) but hey, they were closing in two minutes. Really love that this place opened up near where I live and work, and next to my favorite dim sum place too! I'll be back soon! read more

If you're a boba lover, you will not find this place a very good spot to get your boba drinks at. Their drinks are not creamy, they taste sort of watered down. To be fair, the service is good, and this is a good spot to bring friends to hangout and socialize, but if the drinks aren't good, there is no reason to come back. This was my second time here and it wasn't any better the second time around. I tried the waffle ice cream, and it's expensive for only ONE scoop of ice cream. I barely had any ice cream to eat with the waffle. I think this place only gets service because it's right next to the Great Wall - a dim sum restaurant that gets packed. Everyone likes to indulge in some dessert after a good meal, and Yobahut is just right down the corner of the same plaza so it's just convenient. read more

We had just had dinner at Great Wall and wanted some boba. It was close to being closed for the evening, so we hurried to get our order in. It was pretty busy towards the end of the evening. We ordered 4 drinks among us with boba and jelly. The boba was terrible and the drinks were sub par. The service was ok. She was working really hard to get all the drinks out at the end of the night. Maybe she had an off day, but none of our drinks tasted very good. My taro drink was chalky, and the boba was very hard. The other drinks were ok, but not worth the price we paid. read more

My nephew & I went in there today 2mins before they opened. (Opened at 10am, walked in at 958am). At the register, not only was he smacking his gum and being unprofessional, he stated that he was not open yet so he couldn't make me a strawberry smoothie. This would have been fine and understandable, however, right before we walked in, someone else walked out w their drink order. Despite being busy on a Friday night, service was accurate and timely. The ambiance also makes this place feel extra welcoming. There are several seating options including regular tables, high-top tables, even a couch area for lounging, and seating outside. I also really like how close this cafe is to Glendale Community College. Inside, they also have board games available and a claw machine, which gives the cafe a fun and cozy atmosphere whether you're studying, hanging out with friends, or just stopping by for a drink. Another huge plus was their macaron ice cream sandwiches, which I haven't been able to find at other competitors. They're located in the back and come pre-packaged in a cooler, but the texture is amazing! It is soft, chewy, and structured all at once. Our favorite flavors were vanilla, coffee, and strawberry. Not too sweet, and you can actually taste the avocado, but the strawberry pieces give it a nice sweetness. My sister got a Vietnamese coffee drink, which she enjoyed too. The parking lot is not huge but I was able to find a spot easily. A few people were enjoying their drinks when I arrived. There is a good amount of seating but I can see it getting full quickly. I had perused the menu beforehand as I usually do and although a few of the teas looked tempting, I fulfilled my craving by ordering the Saigon Special, a strongly brewed cafe su da (Vietnamese Coffee) with a special blend of sweet milk topped with sea salt cream, and requested easy ice and honey boba. This has a lot of caffeine in it and I try not to order so late in the day, but I wanted it. The bobaista who took my order was friendly and welcoming, and helpful after I accidentally typed in my phone number incorrectly. Prices were fair: $6 for the drink and $0.75 to add boba. My drink was ready quickly and it looked great. It was pretty sweet with the boba and drink at regular sugar level, and I should have mixed in the sea salt cream to help combine the flavors. It was delicious though and hit the spot. I was left with salty foam at the end so I will remember to mix my drink next time. I also tried the Avocado Chill, which is a fresh hass avocado smoothie with fresh strawberries and condensed milk. Not a big smoothie girl but it was nice. I'm not in this area much but I would come back in the future, and probably try one of their milk teas.

The reason why I gave one star, because the fucking staff told me, " if you don't get ice for your drink, you only get half of cup?!." What the fucking fuck ? What kind of stupid gimmick is that ? Excuses me ! I will never come back to this stupid ! Good luck staying in business. read more

They're also patient when you have questions or trying to decide what to order. The place doesn't have a big sitting area. Most people don't sit in. What I ended up ordering - Chai creme brulee, was delicious but was impossible for me to finish in one sitting with the large size and sweetness. The drink cups used are odd - they are quite wide. They will not fit in your standard cup holder in a car and I had to knock off a star for that. If I didn't have my child with me during this visit to hold it while I was driving home, I'm not sure how I would have brought it home by myself. Put it in between my legs while driving or take a chance of putting it in the passenger seat, hoping it doesn't fall?
