Oriental Cafe really be having me in a chokehold…read more This is hands down one of my favorite local spots, especially when I'm trying to pretend I'm making a healthier choice (we love balance). My go-to is always the teriyaki chicken with fried rice, never misses. Like ever. Now let's talk about those gyozas... because why are they SO good but come on "I need more than this" portions They're a little spendy for the amount, but somehow I still end up ordering them every time. No regrets. My kids? Obsessed. Chow mein, soups, doesn't matter, they're all in. Which says a lot because kids do NOT lie about food. And don't even get me started on that frozen strawberry lemonade... it's honestly unfair how good it is. Like who gave them permission? ! If you haven't been yet, fix that immediately.

Gluten and dairy free review:…read more So, we decided to stop by this boba place, because, you know, sometimes you just need a little sip of happiness in your life. We went for the ube with boba and mango with boba, and they have dairy-free options. That's right if you're living the lactose-free life, which means no dairy drama--you too can have pure boba bliss. The best part for me is that they weren't overly sweet! It was like Goldilocks finding the perfect porridge--just right! We will definitely be going back! They have some fun games to play as your sippin your boba as well! The service was wonderful. The gentleman at the counter was happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. Cheers to boba that gets it just right!

Very patient and wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I usually get some sort of ginger drink or matcha tea. They're flexible with hyper specific orders and don't rush. We were there as the last 4 of the first 100 customers so we got the goodie bags, cute jar of milk tea and some croc charms and keychain, no more stickers. Line got busy quickly and they did a 40% discount today as well. They did forget 2 out of 7 of our beverages so while we were waiting for all our drinks they just spaced out and forgot and continued on with processing more orders. So our other 2 tests didn't come until 20-30 mins later. I would say as they continue on with their business and get the hang on it will be better. Always room for improvement! would recommend letting them know if you've been waiting for more than 10 minutes to remind them as they're very busy with processing walk in orders and takeaways like uber eats etc. Very cute decor and it has very limited seating and space to stand to wait inside. Parking lot is shared with other shops and businesses nearby. Ordered their original bubble waffle as they're out of icecream or there was some technical issues so it doesn't work well. I custom made my drink as I sampled their rose milk tea and really loved the rose aroma but wanted refreshing drink on a hot day like today. I ordered paradise fruit tea with fresh fruits like a passion fruit seed, chia seed, strawberry, lemon/lime and watermelon etc and added a hint of rose syrup with extra jasmine green tea and had it overall less sweetened from other sweeteners. It came out perfect! Would recommend giving it a try if you like rose scent and flavor and enjoy a good fruit tea. we also got a galaxy drink, avocado blended shake, taro blended shake, peach lemongrass tea, sugar cane drink and my fruit tea. would come again for sure when in area, very cute place!

Pros: good mochi donuts & banh mi, great variety of drinks!…read more Cons: service has been very very hit or miss. Have been here a handful of times and usually treat it as a banh mi + sweet treat moment, but gosh the last interaction/experience made me not want to return. I placed an online order because I had a flight to catch later and wanted to be able to pick up a quick banh mi on the way. I arrived the scheduled time and they hadn't seen the order or even started working on it. It seemed like there may have been a tech issue or error, so eh I was fine with waiting. They did throw in a mochi donut for my wait/issue which was nice. However....it just snowballed from there. They handed me my drinks and sandwiches and I was just out the door when I looked in the bag and realized they had forgotten the vegetarian banh mi I had ordered myself -- this would have been very unfortunate since I'm vegetarian and the other two in the bag were pork. I had to wait even longer, a second time, for this order to be completed and really felt like it'd been a waste of time to try and schedule the order. Because of all of the delays, I had a very limited amount of time to eat and it honestly soured my experience overall. The teas are fine but not my favorite in the area and sadly after my last visit, I'm going to search for a new banh mi spot for bites.

The food is basically steamed sandwiches with meat, cheese, sauce and hoagie. No lettuce or tomatoes are available. The sandwiches are mostly $7, while their "loose goose" sandwich (their top seller), is a steamed loose burger (has onions grilled with the meat) served loose with cheese and their sauce runs for $8. It was MUCH better than I expected it. Something that doesn't always happen when you underestimate and are pleasantly surprised. The loose goose is like a burger except on a hoagie and without a formed patty. It's warm, gooey, cheesy. The sandwiches come with a pickle plate which is basically a few pickles, banana peppers and some homemade tapenade. Sides are strong and only $4 ($3 as a combo with sandwich) Drinks are super affordable. The prices for the alcoholic drinks are like 2020. Cozy spot, great server. 5/5
