The drink specials are interesting, I've tried flavors I would never would have tried if they weren't offered at a great price, and have added a few to my favorites list! I believe in supporting local small business, but one of the biggest reasons I stop at the coffee dog is the taste of the coffee. So many coffee drive through shops serve coffee that tastes burnt. I believe this is from freezing the beans to preserve them for use later. Or it could be that the beans they choose are just inferior in quality or roasting. Whatever it is I will always go back to a coffee shop for flavor, I like the flavor of a good coffee, which is why I like the coffee dog. The flavor is consistent and the service is fast and friendly. What more could you want.

The decision by Starbucks management to license out the name to such businesses as Fred Meyer…read more(Kroger) and Safeway was quite possibly the worst one the company has made to date. Anytime I see one, I know the quality won't be the same as the company Starbucks stores. I actually feel sorry for the employees who get assigned to this job in the larger Freddy's or Safeway stores where these Starbucks kiosks are located. They try, but they never seem to have received sufficient training to do their jobs properly and are nowhere near the level of skill at them that one would expect to find in a free-standing Starbucks location. As for this location, try to remember that it isn't a proper Starbucks. The clerks work for the larger store not Starbucks itself. Your order might not be correctly understood and therefore might turn out other than you requested. Just try not to take it out on the people working there; they're hamstrung by the bad business decisions of people who make far, far more money than they do.
