I go to the Saint Helen's location more often since it's closer to my family when visiting for the holidays, but every once in a while we stop here instead. The servers were so friendly and always seem interested in making conversation and asking about your day. It's nice to get great drinks, great service and tons of smiles all in one place. So this morning I go to get coffee as usual and the service was sub par, the barista engaged in conversation with me and then cut me off mid sentence. However that was not the icing on the cake, just before she gave me my drink she has asked if I had wanted a straw, which I replied that I did. But then she tapped the end of the straw on the touch pad screen that EVERYBODY touches and then quickly put it in my drink before I could say anything. I like this particular Ducth Brothers location, because the people who work here aren't annoying, overtalkative, or fake-perky like every other DB i've been to. I know that the normal DB behaivor i'm speaking of is probably an employee requirement, but JFC. I just want my iced Annilihator, or Cocomo. I don't want to listen to your super loud dance music, or super loud shitty pop music. I don't want to tell you what my day's going to entail ("ARE YOU OFF TO WORK!?!?!!"). You can hardly beat how dang fast these kids are, and I'm fairly addicted to their mocha freeze. This Scappoose outpost is a good one. Aaaallmost as good as the originals in Grants Pass. Their friendliness can be a little forced at times, but I don't count 'em down for it. It's a Dutch Bros thing. read more

My first (and consequently 2nd) visit to Dutch Bros was epic! The baristas explained the menu to me since it was my first time there and made recommendations. I ordered the caramel latte on my first visit and the double chocolate mocha freeze on my next visit. They were both really good. Lots of sugar and lots of caffeine. I come here often! This location is great, they know my drink order, are friendly to my kid, and are overall kick ass. I've had a couple of not so great drinks, but they've definitely made up for it. I'm usually heading to work with an eye roll, and they understand. Phenomenal service !! Even early in the morning, the workers were pumped up and listening to some tunes ! They were so polite and positive. They also have great milk substitutes, being a vegan is hard sometimes. Would recommend the chai tea latte and the blended white mocha. Awesome. The line may look long; but they send out an employee, who then texts your order into the barista; by the time you pull up to the window your order is ready. They are friendly and fun. AND, on Wednesday they give you a card with nine stamps; with each drink. So, basically, you only have two purchase two drinks and you get a free a drink. They are young, funny and clean. This was probably the worst Dutch Bros expierence I've ever had. I was in town for the weekend to attend some events in the area. I was staying at an Airbnb down the street. Thought Id stop in and grab 2 coffees. Since the place seemed to be pretty busy all day I assumed they must have amazing coffee. Well, boy was I wrong. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and a carmel latte. #1 they were scoulding hot. Fyi milk burns at 170 degrees Fahrenheit and these were well over. We could barely touch our cups for the first 10min. #2 the espresso shots were burnt and bitter. #3 every milk and milk substitute was out on the counters i was in line for a good 10-15 minutes so who knows how long they were out before that. I never saw anyone put them a way the whole time I was there(Idk about Oregon but thats a health code violation where I'm from). #4 the place was cluttered, which made it look dirty. They only nice thing about this place was the lovely gentlemen that took our order. He was super pleasant and freindly. I feel there is a lack of supervision or leadership? Not sure. We avoided this place the rest of our stay. read more
