House of Rock changed that when it opened. It's been fun to watch it grow from a small local music venue into one of the biggest parts of Corpus Christi's live music scene. Over the years they've expanded beyond just the bar and venue, and the food has become part of the draw as well. I've been to several shows here and they've always been a good experience. The sound is solid, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere feels like a real music venue instead of just another bar. Even on nights when you're not there for a concert, it's a great place to grab a drink, hang out, and listen to good rock music on the jukebox. I've only had the pizza a few times, but it's been excellent every time. The crust tastes fresh and doesn't have that frozen, premade dough texture that so many places serve. I love this place. Corpus is better because it's here, and I hope it continues to be part of the city's music scene for many years to come.
