As for the shrimp tacos, again not fantastic but the shrimp was cooked quite perfectly. The combination of ups and downs put this smack in the middle for me. We had planned to stay for a few drinks, but decided to hop to a few other local businesses to see if we could find a better vibe. I was met with a very defensive and rude manager who was completely unhelpful. She told me the salads we were offered, which I did not order, cost extra because they were Caesar salads. Mind you, I wasn't even going to order a salad. The waitress told me it came with the entree. No upcharge was mentioned when I ordered, so of course I assumed it was included with the meal. Apparently not. The manager told me it was listed on the menu and that it was my fault for not reading it more carefully. She refused to refund the salads because I had already eaten them. When I asked for my tip back, she said no to that too. I'm sorry... the tip I added on top voluntarily? Eventually she did give the tip back, but only after arguing about it. Needless to say, I will be disputing this charge with my bank. I do not pay for things that were offered or promoted as free. Take your money somewhere else. We ordered two deviled eggs and one came out without the bacon, which kind of set the tone for the rest of the meal. The Bloody Mary, which they're supposedly known for, is now a batch cocktail and you can absolutely tell. It lacked flavor, spice, and even basic seasoning. It also didn't come with the celery, bacon, or pickled onions that used to make it stand out. It was mid at best. The barbacoa tacos were also underwhelming. They weren't very filled and lacked flavor overall. Service unfortunately didn't help the experience either. We had to remind our waitress about the Big Reds that were supposed to come with the meal, and they didn't arrive until I was already halfway done eating. We also had to flag down another employee just to get steak knives for the people eating steak and eggs. Honestly, I won't be going back. It's pretty telling that a restaurant that used to be packed is now barely half full. The quality just doesn't seem to match the reputation anymore.
