I have tried several locations and they are very consistent. I like the sandwiches. Usually get a Philly but went Italian today. I attempted to order online WARNING: MILD RANT ALERT! I don't come here enough to download the app. Very few apps are useful enough for my phone or IPad screen. This is my second try at a Jersey Mike's Subs. I had the Turkey and Provolone. Had mayo, and I thought oil and vinegar. It just swam in the oil and there wasn't any vinegar. I see you like the meat to hang off as a visual, that's fine. But the vegetables and condiments should stay on the bread. I'll try it again, and be a little more pushy about how it's made. A worthy sandwich chain! This was my first Jersey Mike experience and I must say my expectations were exceeded. You will see some people saying the bread is hard, it's not, it's called a crust, its meant to have a crispness on the outside and a warm and chewy inside. If this happens to not be your things have a wrap or a salad, for me it's the perfect texture, tastes great, and holds up from first to last bite. The second thing I was impressed was where the meat and cheese came from, not some elbow deep cold cut trough, but from a deli case where it waits patiently to be sliced to order right in front of you. I love it. I had the #13 The Original Italian, while I might try other sandwiches on the menu I have a feeling I've found my go to. Ok they don't have very many vegetable options... So what, who eats olives on a sandwich anyway? Do your self a favor and refrain from going your usual mayo and mustard route and get it Mikes Way! It's the way the sandwich was intended to be eaten for a reason. I will however add banana peppers next time for a little kick. The restaurant itself is small and clean, it will probably be too small on lunch hour. I was happy to see that business seemed good even for 8pm. The guy who made my sandwich brought it to my table where I sat to wait, simple service like that will always get a shout out from me. Why 4 stars? Pepsi products :( I guess they can't be perfect! Just something different while I was in town for a staff meeting. Grabbed and went. I wanted a club supreme but they didn't have any roast beef, which shocked me! So I just went with a regular club. I thought it was great. They do put a lot of liquid on the sandwich in the form of red wine vinegar and an olive oil mix so do expect a lot of juice. Not a great sandwich to eat on the road. If you don't want to have that, you can let them know. A regular size is about a foot long! So if you are super hungry, you can grab a giant which is about 2 feet! Yikes! read more

I asked about the bread before I ordered my sandwich. The gentleman behind the counter admitted that if I like really really soft bread, I'm better off getting a wrap. He said that bread was soft on the inside but a little more firm on the outside to hold the sandwich together. I opted for the wrap. They slice the meet and the cheese in front of you when you order. I ordered a turkey and provolone wrap. It was very delicious. The turkey had wonderful flavor and the tortilla was firm enough to hold the sandwich together the soft enough the way I like it. Both the hot and cold have a high meat to bread ratio, its the smaller portions of lettuce/tomato that leaves the cold subs a little bit behind for me. Yelp is definitely my new go-to for deciding where to eat. I was hungry, wanted something quick, but didn't want something heavy like burger and fries or chicken. I went through my bookmarks here on Yelp and saw Jersey Mikes. I was feeling hungrier by the minute so I asked my husband to order me the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak sub. When he got home, my husband mentioned that they had some of the best customer service he had seen. He said the staff was friendly and not pushy. He said he mentioned to the staff he was sorry for showing up 20 min before they close and the staff said something along the lines of "don't worry about it, we'd rather have you here." This is the first time I had seen him rave so much about experiencing great customer service, he talked about it for like 15 minutes. The sandwich was delicious up until I was halfway through with it; I started getting overwhelmed by the cheese :( However it was nice and hot, the bread was perfect, and most importantly everything tasted fresh. I do not blame the restaurant for it being too cheesy, the menu description states it has extra cheese. I will most definitely be trying this place again! read more

Wow! Corpus Christi's best place for subs, hands down. The place is all about taste. If your not getting a #17, make sure you get it with the Juice! The on-line app made it super convenient and you can easily get in and out of you park on the Jamba Juice side off Staples and SPID. Points off for messy end result, let me explain. Good Sandwich. Prep is alittle bit of a show. They cut the cheese and meat fresh on the meat slicer right in front of you. Bread is pretty good too. The have all the right(yet limited) toppings. The basics: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles... etc. Order to your liking or take it "Mikes Way".... ok now here is where you need to be very CAUTIONS! Mikes Way is Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Spices and the very Dangerous Vinegar and Oil. So they very very liberality apply Vinegar and Oil to your sandwich which is very very tasty but what is dangerous about is this sandwich. They then transfer your sandwich to their Jersey Mike printed wax paper, cut the sandwich in half, and roll in up in the wax paper. If to go, they then place it in a longer paper sandwich shaped bag. Well two times now they have cut through the wax paper and the Vinegar and Oil start to leak out.. both times while the sandwich was resting on my car seat. Luckily I have leather seats that are easy to wipe up with some car cleaning wipes but if you have fabric or suede leather seats like i do in my other car.. .wow talk about being mad. A simple paper bag is not a good way to transport this sandwich, PLEASE provide a plastic bag. PS I cant believe you have tip jar out. Really. The price of the sandwich and you want a TIP. Sorry but that's a bit unprofessional. 9 dollar for just a sandwich, no chips or drink. read more
