I had a chicken chipotle avocado panini, the tasted a little off but didn't think nothing of it. I made the mistake & two hours later i got food poisonin. The service at this location is steadily going downhill. We eat here regularly and up until this year everything was good. This year, the orders are rarely correct, employee turnover has steadily increased and we get charged for things that used to come with the order. This has been especially noticeable since the last manager left several months ago. read more

Hours state the restaurant closes at 10pm. I went in after work around 8:45pm to place a to go order. I ordered a broccoli cheese potato, and a cup of tomato soup. Waited about 25 minutes for the food, and went home. I ate my soup and then went to eat the potato, and there's bacon all over the potato (I don't eat meat). By this time it's 9:30. Go back to the store to see about getting it re-made, and it's around 9:40-9:45. The kitchen was closed, there were 2 people in there. They offered a gift card, cool, but it wasn't 10pm yet so why was the kitchen closed? If the kitchen closes before 10, there needs to be signage up or something to let people know. Also, please make people aware that there is bacon on a meatless potato. read more

Excellent as always, salad bar very clean. The restaurant is very clean and nice. The soft serve ice cream is extra good and not too soft. This is a very good Jasons deli restaurant. I only wish they carried a nice vinaigrette, I always have to bring my own raspberry vinaigrette with me. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

My girlfriend and I are ultramarathoners training on the soft beaches of Port A and Corpus Christi for the classic 100 mile trail race in Leadville, CO. We stopped in at Jason's Deli looking for something healthy to eat and we discovered an incredible all you can eat salad bar for $9. The variety and quality of the produce really caught our attention. Jason's offers your typical salad bar stuff but in addition to the standard fare, less common foods are available too and surprisingly a number of organic produce. Our favorite are the roasted red peppers, whole hard boiled eggs, and artichoke hearts. Trust me when I say it's hard to find healthy foods on the road. Added bonuses are free ice cream(not so healthy) as dessert and free WiFi to download movies to watch before we sleep. Additionally, the staff are incredibly kind. Disgusting! I have always been on the fence about this Jason's deli but today, seeing a dog at the salad bar, I've made my decision. Never again. When I have to eat or touch the same utensils as a dog, that pretty well says it all. I know it is the "desperate for attention" dog owners, fault and not Jason's but I will not ignore the fact that I am sharing a supposedly sanitary eating environment with a dog. read more

Management contacted me about the pagers and said they are always happy take your food to the table if requested, no problem. They apologized profusely and begged me to come back so they could make it right. Fair enough. Went back today, asked them to take my food to the table for me, and the young lady behind the counter refused. She said "you have to be disabled." Still lots of unbussed tables and trays everywhere. The food was better than last time, though, but nowhere near as good as I'm used to at a Jason's in Houston, which still takes your food to the table. This has to be a rogue franchisee or something. It's madness from what I expect going to the ones in Houston. The attitude among the staff here is reminiscent of something out of communist East Germany. These people don't look happy at all. OMG. Our first time to Jason's Deli and I think I could eat here at every meal. What a great menu. Soups, salad bar (with damn near everything on it), sandwiches that are enormous, baked potatoes with anything you want on them, pastas and a 4story strawberry shortcake. Stopped in to pick up 2 nutty mixed up salads to take home. Order was taken immediately. I modified one salad to leave off the cheese. Total was $18 for dinner for two. Several other employees offered to take my order while I waited. Pretty good service. In and out in 10 minutes. Would have given 5 stars but when I got home both salads had CHEESE ON THEM. I got curbside service at the Airline location in Corpus Christi Tx. I ordered the regular Beefeater and a fountaiun drink. Yes it came out in a timely fashion. If I rate the sandwich I say mediocre at best. Not much to be said about the bun. It was blah overall and not very visually apealing. it comes with chips and I ordered Jalipino chips but got regular ruffles. For over $18 with a 10% tip added I expected better. I can get better at other food franchises for less. I do not see myself ever going back for this offering. It is not the first time I have thiught the sandwich below average. The customer service seriously surpasses fine dining restaurants in large part to Klaus, one of the managers who is extremely friendly. I have been a satisfied customer of this location for years but my visit yesterday was very disappointing. I ordered my favorite turkey wrap. It was a very nice wheat wrap with a lot of lettuce and dressing but no sliced turkey, only about 2 tablespoons of chopped up pieces, 1 small piece each of tomato and avocado. The steamed veggies were mush and went down the garbage disposal. On the upside the staff was amazing as always. read more

Awesome place to make a simple sandwich a delicious meal. Even when they're busy they're quick and I haven't had an order messed up yet.

I've never had a bad experience at any JD that I've visited. Today (Sunday) we had lunch at this location. We pulled into the parking lot just before 11:00 and found ourselves to be the only customers in the restaurant. This is a strange experience for a JD. We were expecting a huge crowd, it being lunch time/Sunday after church. Our order came out quickly and was dependably good. My husband got the Deli Cowboy and was happy with his good. I got the Frito Pie, which I could only eat half of. It was very good though, and was steaming hot. We also shared chips and salsa. With water for both of us we spent $21 and some change. The young man who rang us up was friendly, as was the employee who brought our food out. The restaurant was nice and clean, and we had every table to choose from. That will probably never happen again, lol. read more

Love this location. Well, I hate parking at the Gulfway center, but once parked and inside, it's really a great experience. Compare this with other deli locations (like the chain out of SchlAustin) and they have enough employees to handle the high volume without an unreasonable wait for your order to come out. The quality of the food is ALways excellent. If I had to complain, it's about the people in the dining room..but Jason's isn't responsible for the people coming their doors. It's really just a statement of people who don't want to reign in their kids, want to be loud and obnoxious...just CC in general. That's why it's not a knock on Jason's. Jason's is one of those places you can find in many cities and trust it's going to be good. I don't really consider it a "deli," but they do make good sandwiches, have a decent-sized salad bar and they find some of the BIGGEST baked potatoes I've ever seen! Our last visit there, I decided to try something 'healthy' and got the chicken fajita baked potato they call the "Pollo Mexicano." Okay, whatever.... It was alright. They took some pre-done chicken fajita, schmaltzed in some butter, cheese and sour cream and put it in one of their shoe-sized potatoes. As long as the topping held out, it was good. Trouble was, there's not enough topping for the disproportionally larger potato! And, I don't recall that much "pica de gallo" on the potato, either. But, again, it was good. The potato my wife had looked real good, too. She enjoyed it, even though she could only eat HALF of the HALF they gave her. Their prices are always good and the service is very good. Tables are always clean, food comes to you promptly with a smile and a, "can I get you anything else." For the money and the consistency, we'll keep coming back. read more

The young man said oh that's the last of it unless I make more. I looked at him like are you serious! The staff here keep the salad bar clean and full. The food is fresh and delicious. Great sandwiches and the pot pie soup is always a comfort on a chilly day. I really come for the food and to watch people at the salad bar. It's interesting to see people fill their plates. Well, and the staff is really nice. We also only order from this location for delivery even though given a choice of two based on our address. That's because they always get the order right and deliver earlier than we expect. I've literally only had them forget a cookie one time over years of orders and eating in and catering. And, that's a pretty good record. The Christmas we catered was the easiest and most fun Christmas ever. I highly recommend it! Easy on the pocketbook and it beat standing in the kitchen for days. If you want to feed a crowd and have energy left to enjoy them, this is the way to go. read more

One baked Potato the original was okay but the outside was extremely dry, thank goodness I got extra butter. The other baked potato Texas style the actual potato its self was off tasting. Once again the inside after mashing it together was edible but the entire outside was rock hard. Actually impressive how hard it was New Yorker was good, can't really mess up just meat and cheese.
