Used to go often and get the 361 strip. One day they didn't have the size in the case that we would normally get so they offered to cut one. We said we didn't mind getting a smaller one that was already cut. The guys up front insisted it was no problem. The butcher came out from the back and said they never cut them bigger than what they had in the case currently, but that he would do it anyway. They sent us home with a lower quality cut of beef and charged us the price of the 361 strip, when it was clearly not the same amount of marbling. We felt like we ruined their day. Now we go to Montray's Meat Market and have never been treated like an inconvenience. read more

Food was delicious and fresh. My husband and I shared the burger with chips and drinks and it was enough for the both of us. The aioli and bread butter pickles on the burger gave it an amazing flavor and the bun was the perfect size so you could enjoy all the flavors of the burger and its toppings. Service was excellent! This place feels like I'm headed back in time, the decor of this place is rustic and honestly one of my favorite places here in Corpus! I ate the El Befe and I want to say it was a juicy ass burger man I give it a 8.5/10 because the burger was missing salt and the cheese wasn't melted. Wifey had a Boarri Cheese Steak and boy that was a 10/10 Everything was cook to order and fresh which is the reason why I love this joint. I also wanna mention that the gentleman who took my order explains to us their menu and what they offer to the T! That's important for me! I went to Boarri for several items. Meat being the most evident. I bought a ribeye and 2 pork chops. We had the pork chops the next day. They were of good size and delicious. I grilled them after I rubbed them down with mustard and seasoned them. Probably some of the best pork chops I've had. The ribeye steak was reserved for Mother's day. Seasoned well and grilled again. Delicious and savory, it served us well. Happy Mother's day to my wife and her mother. We had a delicious meal. They also have these heritage beans we like. By far the best meat market in Corpus. Unique cuts of beef, delicious marinated and stuffed chicken options and their Wursts are amazing. Lunch menu isn't huge but has a little bit of everything.
