Used to go often and get the 361 strip. One day they didn't have the size in the case that we would normally get so they offered to cut one. We said we didn't mind getting a smaller one that was already cut. The guys up front insisted it was no problem. The butcher came out from the back and said they never cut them bigger than what they had in the case currently, but that he would do it anyway. They sent us home with a lower quality cut of beef and charged us the price of the 361 strip, when it was clearly not the same amount of marbling. We felt like we ruined their day. Now we go to Montray's Meat Market and have never been treated like an inconvenience. read more

This is our go to for our meat & eggs and it never disappoints! We almost always walk out with a few NY Strip Steaks and Barbacoa Boudin along with a couple other items for the week. Most recently, we came in to try our their burgers... I have been fixating on it ever since! The burgers were chef's kiss! read more

Boarri - Meat Shops Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

This place feels like I'm headed back in time, the decor of this place is rustic and honestly one of my favorite places here in Corpus! I ate the El Befe and I want to say it was a juicy ass burger man I give it a 8.5/10 because the burger was missing salt and the cheese wasn't melted. Wifey had a Boarri Cheese Steak and boy that was a 10/10 Everything was cook to order and fresh which is the reason why I love this joint. I also wanna mention that the gentleman who took my order explains to us their menu and what they offer to the T! That's important for me! P.S they sell fresh cut meat and other local products! read more

Food was delicious and fresh. My husband and I shared the burger with chips and drinks and it was enough for the both of us. The aioli and bread butter pickles on the burger gave it an amazing flavor and the bun was the perfect size so you could enjoy all the flavors of the burger and its toppings. Service was excellent! Friendly and fast. Cool little lunch spot inside a meat market. Definitely recommend! Park in back. read more

I went to Boarri for several items. Meat being the most evident. I bought a ribeye and 2 pork chops. We had the pork chops the next day. They were of good size and delicious. I grilled them after I rubbed them down with mustard and seasoned them. Probably some of the best pork chops I've had. The ribeye steak was reserved for Mother's day. Seasoned well and grilled again. Delicious and savory, it served us well. Happy Mother's day to my wife and her mother. We had a delicious meal. They also have these heritage beans we like. In the past they have been creamy and tasty. Can't wait to make those. The staff was helpful and I was able to get in and out. Parked in the back this time and saw the dining area on the way in. Next time folks read more

Meat quality and price alone was a 5, but the cooking made this place a must for coming back!!!!

Amazing service, amazing food, and the seating is a little limited but worth it! Everyone should try at least once!

By far the best meat market in Corpus. Unique cuts of beef, delicious marinated and stuffed chicken options and their Wursts are amazing. Lunch menu isn't huge but has a little bit of everything. You can't beat their burger or cheesesteaks. The owners did a great job restoring the building and are always there to help! read more

Excellent full service butcher shop. Service is stellar! This business is deep into LOCAL! They carry many products by other local business such as condiments, dairy, snacks, and baked goods. This is a true 5-star. Fantastic meat. Try the Wagyu beef cut for fajitas if you can get it. It melts. Truly awesome. Also good sausage. And great customer service. Just ask and they'll get it for you. This is leaps and bounds above what H‑E‑B is offering. Not even in the same realm. If you love meat, cooking, grilling, go here. Definitely worth the extra stop. read more
