Review is on the food primarily as it took a bit before the staff came and asked what we'd like...but was prompt afterward. Additionally, the floor SEVERELY needs steaming or deep scrubbing. One of the stickiest floors I've ever been witness to. Literally had my sandles trying to come off. We both ordered "regular" burgers (not one of their named ones) (me double meat) and got their fries. Also ordered fried mushrooms. There's nothing else to say except the burger was one of the best I've ever experienced and the julianned fries were crispy, lightly seasoned and oh-so-good. Mushrooms were like chips. yum. This place is a laid back hole in the wall. No frills, just good food. I decided to have a beer. I got lucky since Estrella Jalisco bottles at only $1 on Saturdays. I ordered the Donut burger. A little small, but perfect flavor, a little sweet with savory. I don't normally like homemade fries because they a thick and generally not crispy. However I can't say that about their's. They a thin shoe string size and perfectly crispy. Definitely enjoyed them. The waitresses were on top of it and very attentive. To start, I will DEFINITELY be back!! No doubt!! Service is top notch! Staff were friendly, inviting, and attentive to all of our needs. From the moment we walked in, they took good care of us. Frequent checks to make sure everything was ok, or if we needed anything else. Menu is creative! But we didn't notice or ask if they have a signature drink to compliment the food. Burgers are perfect!! Hands-down one of the best burgers I've ever had! The meat was cooked just right, and was loaded with great flavor, nothing overwhelming or distracting about it. From the very first bite of my Riptide Burger I was in awe and signaled my approval to the guy who may have been the owner behind the register. Fried Elotes are delightful! A "Must Have" from their appetizer list. Not too sweet, very crispy and freshly made. Their Signature Fries are very tasty and crispy. Thinly sliced. Their Onion Rings, I probably won't order them again, unless they add more flavor to the batter. But I must say, it's crispness is perfect, and you get a good portion. It comes as an option of a side with your burger. I added a little bit of salt, to make it better, but could still use more flavor on the batter. Tater tots were made out of sweat potato. But tater tots should be crispy on the outside; these could use a bit more flavor and Crispiness. The kids Mini Burger with fries meal sat well with the kids, and the portion was great. Looked really nice, wasn't your typical kids "small" meal. The kids enjoyed them and super awesome that the burgers were pre-cut for the kids! When you walk into this place, you get the warm feeling that you're at a mom and pop, little hole in the wall, and you know the food is going to be great. This was very pleasant and we'd love to come back the next time we're in town. Based on my first visit, here's a few things that I feel took away from making this a Five-Star review: 1) the floors felt sticky, and looks like it could benefit from a makeover, 2) Add more flavor to the batter for the onion rings, and make the tater tots crispier and just a tad more flavorful 3) offer more kid-friendly/non-carbonated drinks (even though they did offer to make fresh lemonade) but that's not an option on their menu. Otherwise, this is absolutely a Go To for future trips to Corpus Christi. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work. read more

The quality of meat is definitely the lowest grade ground beef able to purchase. Processed low grade cheese with an added up charge. The meat was saturated in salt and what seemed to be oregano. Each bite was worse than the last. Veggies were off to a side yet the bun was soaked in what seemed to be butter. The bottom bun was a mess. The sweet potato tater tots aka barnacles were cold and mush. The food made its way into the trash. Upon walking in, the business smelled like stale old cigarette. Do I recommend this place? Maybe. It's got the laid back atmosphere of a beach bar inside and out. People look like they are having a good time every time I've been there. But the food is inconsistent and service is slow. The burgers are the only thing that are always amazing. The hot dogs are good usually. The barnacles and onion rings are unpredictable. I'm crazy about onion rings and prefer those in flour or a light batter like these are sometimes. Sometimes theirs are heavenly with thick, sweet, fresh onion slices that are cooked to perfection. Sometimes they are horrible - half cooked or battered like a pancake. The shrimp I've gotten were small. were small. The type of french fries vary from time to time - either super thin that look like fresh made or typical frozen thick restaurant style. Went for the Bloody Mary's still pictured, but found out they have new owners that have only been there 4 months. They are not doing the speciality Bloody Mary's anymore, but expect to have one with shrimp, soon. We had their double cheeseburgers and an ice cold margarita and a beer. Burger Beach truly is a hideaway, because beautiful rare gems are meant to be difficult to find. This restaurant has the best burgers I've ever had, and I've been to every continent on the planet. The vibes are absolutely off the charts; great music, fun atmosphere, free games to play while you wait (not very long) for your food. Service is always quick and efficient...But perhaps one of the best perks of this dive bar/ burger heaven is the PRICES!! It's a double 1/2 Pound beef patty on two French toast buns, with bacon, cheese and strawberry jelly. It's sound sweet but it really isn't . The taste combination just go together very well.
