Mexican Migas, bacon, toast, and hash browns.

I am struggling with where to begin, my fiance and I just had the BEST breakfast. It was not just breakfast, it was an experience. From the excellent customer service that began the moment that we walked in and didn't end until the moment that we walked out, we were treated like family (family that you really like). The ambiance is a perfect down home feel that reminds you of a cozy setting that you forgot about because you've been so busy. But, the most amazing part is the food that is not only visually appealing, but tastes amazing. From the Texas shaped waffles to the Mexican Migas, the homemade ranchero sauce, and fresh-squeezed lemonade--we are forever fans. A special shout out to the owner who stopped by our table to personally welcome us. You haven't had breakfast in Corpus Christi until you've had Price's Chef

I loved Prices Chef until I came to have brunch with my family. This place is so dirty. Caked on dirt, it's so gross. Flies all in the windows. The worst part is...I took my daughter to the restroom and as you walk to the back you can see the kitchen area. The floor had the little green (rodent killer) balls everywhere. Fully visible. If you look around the place it's dirty. This place needs a GOOD clean!!!! Hopefully they do something about cleaning this place up because I really did love to eat here.

Chicken fried steak, 2 eggs and hash browns.

Food and cost is great. I had the Chicken fried steak and 2 eggs. The hash browns needed a little salt but was delicious. Service is a little slow but by no means not worth the wait. It a great dinner you should put on you radar. Get her early the place get busy.

Wanted someplace local. Found that Price's Chef fit our group's needs. The wait time was a bit much as we signed in but were later advised they were going by the sign-in sheet. Only to have 2 other groups be seated who arrived after we did. Then we were advised, they added us back onto the list they were now going by. This part of the visit was extremely off-putting and we were about to start discussing other places to go. 5 minutes later we were finally able to sit at a table. Our server Veronica, was amazing!! She made us feel extremely welcome and didn't mind our add-ons. I would return for sure to try some lunch.

Great food! TRY THE BISCUITS. The waitress said they were hand made every morning. The vibe was very old school. Super cute!

Great Diner Experience. Went to check it out for Brunch. Great 40 year old landmark. Betty Boop decor. Sweet Veronica was out waitress. Everything was perfect! Food Service Experience! We went with our son, dil, and grandson.y son ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, hash browns and toast. Perfectly cooked eggs- over easy. CFS had lots of breading. It was the 3 rd bite before he hit meat. Daughter in law and I ordered Eggs Benedict- Perfectly poached eggs and delicious hollandaise ! Hash browns crispy outside with soft almost mashed potato inside. My husband had Megas - perfectly cooked tortillas in Megas. Food good quality and perfectly priced. Great value for meal. Loved this place will go back again!

I love mom & pop diners!

The place has a sweet, cozy, and comfortable vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. We tried the seafood platter, and it was incredible -- everything tasted so fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The sides really elevated the meal, especially the charro beans, which are a must-have with it. Country fried fresh water Catfish was just as good -- juicy, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. One of the sweetest touches was the complimentary blueberry muffins while waiting -- soft, fluffy, and honestly the perfect start before the meal. And the desserts... WOW. The cheesecake slice and carrot cake were both absolutely mouthwatering -- rich, moist, and the perfect way to end the meal. The service made the experience even better -- our server Anna was incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming. Just a heads-up: this place is popular for a reason, so expect a 20-30 minute wait, but it's 100% worth it. Plan ahead and go -- you won't regret it! Highly recommend if you're in Corpus Christi!

It all looked so good. My husband and I decided on the Mexican breakfast with 2 cheese con carne enchiladas, 2 over easy eggs, refried beans, flour tortillas and hash brown. The salsa had to be homemade, it was so good. It was the best part of our quick vacation. Also was really impressed by the wait staff. I counted 8 plates being hand delivered at the same time! Wow, impressive!

The restaurant itself has a luxurious, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that almost seems to transport you out of Corpus. There are great views of the Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. We even saw some dolphins swim by! The food was fantastic. It was a cold day, so I ordered the shakshuka and my husband had the Turkish eggs and lamb sausage. The flavors were rich and bold. Both the house made foccacia and the baguette paired well with the tomato sauce. I was also a huge fan of the olive oil mixed with saba that came with the bread board. It gave the fruitiness of the oil a more complex sweetness. We finished off with the baklava which was also superb. Parking was ample and prices were very reasonable considering how much we ordered and the quality of food we got. Will be back to visit soon! This place was an absolute gem.

Our servers were very knowledgeable and professional. Food was outstanding, loved the dip trio and sauces. The sweet potato fries are the best! Highly reccommend for a healthy but filling lunch for your beach adventure.

I really wanted to keep loving Bien Mérité, but after three attempts, I'm extremely frustrated. Each visit has involved inaccurate and constantly changing wait times. My first attempt on 4/10 around 2pm in the afternoon. It was just me and my 15month old baby, there was only 2-3 tables occupied and I was told 45 minute wait with an almost empty dining room. I asked the hostess due to me being 9 months pregnant and having a toddler if I could just at least sit down while waiting the additional 45 mins and was told no. So I totted out my baby and myself, bought pastries and left. The second attempt I was quoted an hour , waiting the full hour and checked back in with the hostess stand only to be told it was going to be an additional hour, on top of what we already waited again. Third attempt (Sunday, April 26) waited a full hour, checked in once again with the hostess and was told it is now going to be another 90 minutes on top of once again the hour we already waited. I understand waits happen, but this level of inconsistency feels disorganized and disrespectful of customers' time--especially when expectations are set incorrectly from the start. I'm just asking for transparency and honesty here. It's disappointing because the space is beautiful and I've always supported this business but the waitlist management and homestead stand seriously needs improvement on honesty and management of times.
