10" Pepperoni, black olives, light onions, extra sauce, well done. It was perfect

Neigh the pizza snob that I am I can honestly say I love this place. Small but clean. Excellent service. And great food. The pizza is as good as it gets. Crispy light crust. Slightly spicy sauce. Crispy pepperoni. Sweet onions. This is my go to place

Pizza for One. Add as many toppings as you want.

Stopped here after reading reviews on Yelp. A lot of local pizza places close mid afternoon so we gave GI Gi's a try. It's in an unassuming strip mall with no flair, but don't be dissuaded. Sometimes places with great atmosphere have crappy food. The pizza was really good! I have multiple food sensitivities to preservatives and my body tells me when food isn't fresh and I had no issues or reflux at all with our food afterwards. We had the hand-tossed with mushroom, red onion and basil. Lip smacking. It was pizza for one, but the two of us had no issue being satisfied. We left not a crumb. Will def go back if we're out this way again!

    16" Cheese Pizza

Stopped at Gigis for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The cheese pizza was thin, crispy, and had a good balance of sauce and cheese. We ordered a 16" and the crisp held through to the last slice. We did eat in, and a box can take a pizza down a few notches, so I'll have to get takeout next time to see how it holds up. Nonetheless, this is the best electric oven pizza in Corpus and it's not even close. Kudos to the owner for not following the majority of pizza places in Corpus that serve doughy undercooked pies with too much cheese and not nearly enough sauce.

    The Favorite

Some of the best pizza in town! Three of us split the 2XL "The Favorite" pizza. You go up to the counter to order. The service was really great! This was my first time coming and I will definitely be back.

I really wanted to keep loving Bien Mérité, but after three attempts, I'm extremely frustrated. Each visit has involved inaccurate and constantly changing wait times. My first attempt on 4/10 around 2pm in the afternoon. It was just me and my 15month old baby, there was only 2-3 tables occupied and I was told 45 minute wait with an almost empty dining room. I asked the hostess due to me being 9 months pregnant and having a toddler if I could just at least sit down while waiting the additional 45 mins and was told no. So I totted out my baby and myself, bought pastries and left. The second attempt I was quoted an hour , waiting the full hour and checked back in with the hostess stand only to be told it was going to be an additional hour, on top of what we already waited again. Third attempt (Sunday, April 26) waited a full hour, checked in once again with the hostess and was told it is now going to be another 90 minutes on top of once again the hour we already waited. I understand waits happen, but this level of inconsistency feels disorganized and disrespectful of customers' time--especially when expectations are set incorrectly from the start. I'm just asking for transparency and honesty here. It's disappointing because the space is beautiful and I've always supported this business but the waitlist management and homestead stand seriously needs improvement on honesty and management of times.

The steak was surprisingly tender and flavorful, I just wished there was more of it. It was cut super duper thin. The spring mix also wasn't my favorite because it was very spinach forward. I would have opted for more rice but also the hana rice wasn't that great. More mushy than what I was used to and didn't have any green tea extract or coconut taste which is fine. I think it would be great if the preset bowls had more sauces on them but you definitely can add other stuff to it as well. Workers were nice! I also tried the hana boba drink which had very little flavor but I'm a boba snob. I think the boba should have been soaked in some kind of brown sugar or syrup because it's super bland and the drink is pretty mild as well. The flan/custard in the drink is solid though. It is very clean inside and the perfect meal to bring to the beach. I will say I saw something about miso soup but it wasn't explained very well. The menu is also hard to read and a little overwhelming so I appreciate the preset bowls.

The restaurant was full of lively chatter, smiling faces, and aromas to warm the heart & soul. &The food was absolutely amazing We ordered fried mozzarella to start and it came out hot and fresh. The cheese pull was absolutely insane and the marinara to wash it down with was perfect. After, we enjoyed an Il Martino pizza & also built our own pizza. The Il Martino was out of this world tasty and unique: the white sauce, the chorizo, the red onions and cilantro sheeeesh! The only thing I would have changed myself was maybe without the serranos, usually we enjoy them but yesterday they were extremely spicy‍ The pizza we built was insane too We really enjoyed that there was an option to choose between red sauce, white sauce, and pesto for the base with over 15 toppings to choose from: this really gives you range to go wild & enjoy different offerings. Our only complaint is that we didn't come with more room & an honorable mention is the owner (or manager perhaps) was extremely kind & involved on the dining room floor. He delivered our pizza & even served us each our first slice, a very nice touch. We wish Mozzafiato many years of success & are thankful they're here for everyone to enjoy! (check out boarri next door too!) Be back soon!
