Today was our first time to Elizabeth's, and we were thoroughly pleased! My daughter and I tried a variety of dishes and they were all fantastic. I had a delicious Turkish coffee and my daughter LOVED the Venetian lemonade. To eat we had the Fritto Misto, the garlic margherita flatbread, the burrata, and the Turkish eggs and lamb sausage. Our server Faith was very knowledgeable and super kind. I haven't even mentioned the view in here yet! Expansive views of the bay, the USS Lexington, and the Aquarium. Wonderful lunch place, inside the art museum. Just mention at the entrance that you are there for the restaurant, so you don't have to pay for entry. The menu is mediterranean influenced, with options for both lighter and more filling dishes. This place was so good that we came back a second time during our weekend stay in Corpus Christi. Standout dishes were the Shrimp a la Planca (see photo) and the Turkish sausage (only on the weekend brunch menu). The service was good, but a bit slow, since they were busy during both visits. My wife and I went here for lunch on Friday. It was packed because of a convention in the area, but they were still able to sit us even without a reservation. The food was outstanding. The weight staff was outstanding. Our waitresses name was Kyla and she was super friendly and she did a great job. We started the meal with a tuna dish, and then went to a bacon wrapped dates. Those were the best thing we ate. Absolutely fantastic. We ended the lunch with the Frito miso. It was very good full of seafood and quite tasty. But again, bacon wrapped dates were the best. One of the benefits of this restaurant being inside of the art museum is that while waiting for the table, we were able to walk around the art exhibit and see some beautiful paintings and a beautiful chihuly chandelier. read more

I reserved a table through Google Assistant as I couldn't reach restaurant via phone but they were not busy during lunch anyway. I've got to say WOW! The food and drinks were amazing! Literally everything we got was phenomenal. Chloe was our waitress and did an amazing job of not only checking on us but explaining the menu and her recommendations. Being the 4th of July, the museum was open and the views and ambiance are to die for. You're right on the water and to sum it up, food/views/service, this place is a must for anyone in Corpus Christi or passing through. The manager even came to make sure everything was to our liking. On top of all of that, the prices are great. My only critique would be the music which is a far cry that pales in comparison to the amazing experience we had. I've been watching a ton of Gordon Ramsey shows so I'm pretty much an expert. Lol In all seriousness, I highly recommend anyone to check this place out! read more

A divine experience! My husband and I had brunch at Elizabeth's on a Sunday morning. It's tucked away in the art museum and was a little confusing to get to but the officer at the front desk was helpful. This was minor and the only downside to our visit. The restaurant itself has a luxurious, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that almost seems to transport you out of Corpus. There are great views of the Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. We even saw some dolphins swim by! The food was fantastic. It was a cold day, so I ordered the shakshuka and my husband had the Turkish eggs and lamb sausage. The flavors were rich and bold. Both the house made foccacia and the baguette paired well with the tomato sauce. I was also a huge fan of the olive oil mixed with saba that came with the bread board. It gave the fruitiness of the oil a more complex sweetness. We finished off with the baklava which was also superb. Parking was ample and prices were very reasonable considering how much we ordered and the quality of food we got. Will be back to visit soon! This place was an absolute gem. read more

What an incredible surprise nestled in the corner of the Art Museum of South Texas looking out on the bay was the perfect environment for a stop before heading into the museum galleries to see a huge installation of modern and historical fine art by many well known artists. The menu is somewhat limited but everything looked like it would be special, and my Mediterranean shrimp in a sumptuous spicy sauce took me back to my days of travel to Europe. The bread was a perfect compliment as I used it to not miss any of the sauce. Excellent restaurant with a waterfront view! This was a standout from all the restaurants we tried while in Corpus Christi. It's located inside of the Art Museum, and is cute and quaint. The staff is very friendly too. It's a scratch kitchen and the food is top notch. Most options are small plates/tapas style that can be shared between 2 people. They also serve brunch menu items which are a single serving. Our favorites: Drinks: Venetian lemonade and sangria Small plates: hummus, devil on horseback (bacon wrapped dates) , patatas bravas, the torte, and the shrimp campechana. It is a Mediterranean style restaurant with tapas-style meals meant to be shared. One of the best restaurants in Corpus Christi by far! I ordered a refreshing Venetian Lemonade, then the homemade hummus came out, the Casablanca flat bread, then the Devils on Horseback. The server was friendly and she knew the menu to answer your questions. The restaurant had great decor with amazing views of the water and USS Lexington from the windows. Ordered 2 items that Sincere suggested then was also surprised with a lavender sangria, apparently the bartender made an extra and Sincere insisted to bring it to the table. The Casablanca flatbread that my husband got was out of this world and the devils on horseback were a phenomenal surprise, bacon was super crispy and a great offset to the goat cheese wrapped in dates with a balsamic glaze over. The naan was not vegan so I ordered a serving of focaccia. The hummus was beautifully plated but lacked flavor. I am a huge fan of hummus so that was disappointing. I think my friend also felt it was lacking because after tasting it, he asked the server for salt and pepper. The focaccia was beautiful but also lacked flavor except for the huge salt chunks on top. Try to eat at a place at least 5 times before I review. This place started at five stars food, ambiance and service. Sadly on my last visit they were out of lamb any and all bread and desserts. I got the Caesar salad added chicken, chicken was dry and off tasting and salad was tiny. The other person in my party got a wrap and was very soggy had to disassemble and eat like a salad. First of all, the food here is absolutely spectacular. What we had exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend. The ambience is beautiful and relaxing. There was even a wedding proposal while we were there. However, I hope the front end of the restaurant catches up with the kitchen and location. I called ahead about an allergy and got one set of information. Upon arriving, I got a different set of information. Then the chef came out and cleared up the confusion. My first two Turkish coffees came with complementary lipstick on the cup. One member of our party, waited 20 minutes longer for their food than anyone else at the table. Then they left the Burata Cheese entree off our to-go order. All in all, I think this place has a lot of promise once a few issues get resolved. read more

I visited Elizabeth's for lunch in March while on Spring Break in Corpus Christi and absolutely loved it! We only found the restaurant because we visited the Water Street Oyster Bar and I believe they are sister restaurants. The restaurant is located in the museum and the atmosphere is beautiful. It sits right on the water and it feels like you are in a Mediterranean oasis. We came right when it opened and didn't have to wait, but the restaurant filled up fairly quickly. You can call ahead to put your name down. We ordered the Hamachi Crudo, the Homemade Hummus, and the Casablanca flatbread for two. Each dish was delicious and we each tried 2 cocktails which were also good. I really enjoyed their version of a bloody mary. I thought the za'atar rim was a nice touch. We also ordered the Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding, which I highly recommend for dessert. Overall, this was an incredible experience for a nicer lunch experience on the water.
