First of all, I want to give a very special thank you to Brooke, our server, for the warm, friendly, and attentive service she gave us. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and Brooke made our family meal even more enjoyable. And then there are the pizzas... absolutely incredible! I ordered the Trentino, with what I believe was prosciutto, and for someone like me, originally from Spain, who really misses Spanish ham, it was such a wonderful surprise. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had the vegetarian pizza, and it was fantastic as well. Everything was perfectly accompanied by a Peroni, which made the experience even better. I also want to mention something that, as a parent, I truly appreciate: the kids' menu is completely free. That is such a wonderful touch, especially when you're eating out with your family. What we loved most is how authentic the pizzas feel. They truly stay faithful to the Neapolitan pizza tradition of Naples, Italy. You can taste the quality, the care, and the passion in every bite. If you're anywhere around here, stop by Odis Pizza and give it a try. We left absolutely delighted and already feeling like this is a place we would love to come back to. Thank you, Brooke, and thank you to the entire Odis Pizza team for such a wonderful meal and such a warm experience.

The servers are great at being attentive and checking on you frequently, which should be a given when you're in a smaller place. Don't worry about how you're dressed, it could be a nicer night out if you want it to be, but also expect people to look like they've come from the beach.

Right off the bat, she seemed unfriendly and mildly sarcastic like she was having a bad day or didn't want to be there. Whatever, we all have days like that-- I just wanted my pizza so I placed an order and when I was charged, I noticed that I was charged full price instead of the daily special price. I think it was something like BOGO toppings. When I asked the cashier why I was charged full price she simply shrugged and told me my card was already charged and there was nothing we could do about it now. No attempt at apology or suggestion on how to make it right. I really didn't want to have my food defiled in any way by this patent unprofessional, so I let it go. I used to drive 35 minutes one-way from my house to pick up this fabulous pizza when I needed a real treat. Something about the cheese combination they use is absolutely magical. I used to praise this pizza as my favorite NY-style pizza in Corpus and order boxes to-go when I dined in. Though the pizza is still wonderful and would highly recommend to anybody, I've got better things to do than drive over an hour round trip to be assailed by crap service and bait and switch pricing. Will not be back.

We planned…read moreto grab some tiki drinks at Tiki Jays, take the outside and watch the baby run around for a while, then eat dinner. Everything about this place was great except one thing. They furnished the place with chairs that look like replicas of those old-fashioned metal/wood chairs we used before they started making one piece desk/chair combos with molded plastic seats. They really looked nice in the venue. But, unfortunately, they were horribly loud whenever you moved them. It just echoed through the place every time someone sat down. NOTE to owner/manager: Go buy several cans of tennis balls. Cut an X in them and shove them on the feet of the chairs. That is what school teachers have done for years. Okay... back to the more important stuff. The drinks here were really good. I knew I could only have one as the driver. Two and I would have hiked home on the beach. Good cocktails seem to be a theme at most Port Aransas restaurants. For my meal, I chose the meatball hoagie. It was really good, even it it wasn't the kind I grew up on in New Jersey. The roll was toasted and crunchy. The meatballs were obviously house made. The sauce was perfect. I had the chopped Italian salad as my side. It goes right into my top ten salads of all time. It had so many good things thrown together that I won't even bother to list them. Just trust me... It was a great salad. I expected this to be a super expensive venue. It is in the Cinnamon Shores Resort complex. That is a pretty upscale place, in general. But really, this meal, even with the drinks, was no more than a family dinner at a San Antonio Italian restaurant. The service here was great. I didn't keep any receipts on this trip, so I don't remember our servers name, but she was fantastic.
