    Wood fired pizza
    Farah R.

First time visiting and a nice clean roomy place with the fire burning in the pizza oven! Brooke was our server and helped us navigate the extensive choices! Very friendly and welcoming , the pizza oven was smelling great as they cooked our Diavola calabrese pizza . Will return for this home style flavor and fresh ingredients .Dessert was in house cannolis and next time we will try the Rum Baba. Owner came up to ask how it was and we said fantastic and will visit again.

New York Strip with grilled zucchini. Caesar salad was tasty. Forgot to take a photo.

My friend and I came to try the NY Strip for the first time last night. Odi's "dream" was apparent on a busy Friday evening. Welcoming environment, friendly without seeming intrusive. Knowledgeable servers. Care for food quality, experience and customer service were alive and well, with couples and families enjoying all that Odi's has to offer. Thanks chef for stopping by our table. Beyond expectation!

I just can't say enough good things about Odis. This is my absolute favorite restaurant to sit down and enjoy a meal. We always leave full, content, relaxed, and vowing to be back. Please understand - this is not a chain restaurant or fast food pizza joint. This is a legit, wood burning oven, certified neapolitan style pizza and Italian food restaurant in an unassuming tiny strip mall. If you want cardboard box pizza clones, all you can eat pasta bowls, or pseudo brick oven claims, don't bother. If that's your thing and you enjoy it there's nothing wrong with that. That's just not the experience you'll find here. I say this upfront because it's unique for Corpus. The atmosphere at Odi's is so calming, so relaxing, very clean, casual but somehow still elevated. Like the food, it all seems balanced. There's a wood burning oven of the left as you enter, aromas of the pizzas and bread baking fill the air. The service is excellent, the staff attentive but not hovering, so patient explaining their dishes, the ingredients, and the restaurant's history. The restrooms are impecable. The owner is kindhearted and community driven. Then there's the food. That's what it's all about after all. They source ingredients from Italy as much as possible. It makes all the difference. They serve pizza, pastas, soup, salads, sandwiches, a few appetizers and desserts, all made fresh. Some menu items rotate. They offer a rib eye steak dinner served only the last weekend of the month (reservation recommended). The pizzas! Baked in the wood fired oven, done in minutes. There is one size with many combos to choose from. Some toppings were unfamiliar to me on a pizza, some familiar. You can try something new or build your own from familiar toppings. They don't smother the crust with toppings and cheese. You won't see a cheese pull like in commercials. This is Neapolitan style pizza with traditional and innovative toppings. It's like a balanced work of food art. Then there's that crust. It's the star. Made from imported flour. Thin but not brittle. The perfect chew. Just enough char. Bubbly edges. Crisp bottom. Soft center. Just enough sauce, not too much, not soggy, there to enhance the flavor of the toppings not overwhelm. Perfection. The pastas! They are made fresh in house from imported flour and are superb, the perfect al dente, never mushy. They have dinner menu staples plus rotating specialties. The portions are generous and I always have some to take home. We've tried several varieties of alfredos, fettuccines, farfalles and spaghettis. My favorite so far is the spicy shrimp with squid ink fettuccine (no fishy taste FYI) and a creamy chicken fettuccine alfredo. No lasagna on the menu yet but we've heard maybe soon. There is a lobster ravioli rotating through right now and a mushroom gnocchi with pancetta that I hope I don't miss. There is a pasta bar special for lunch We'd - Fri from 1200 - 1:30. You pick the pasta, the sauce, the protein, and the veggies. The Sandwiches! They come on a long puffy semi hollow bread loaf baked in the pizza oven. It's crispy on the outside with some char They split it and fill it but not overstuff it with ingredients like chicken, ham, or other meats and veggies with roasted grape tomatoes, some greens, and some cheese. They're big enough for 2 people. We like the chicken and ham versions we've tried so far but we think they are too dry, so we order a side of olive oil and a side of balsamic to add ourselves. Perfect. Just bread! They don't make a garlic loaf like other restaurant. If you order bread, you a get a large puffy loaf similar to the sandwich bread, fresh baked for you. Seriously. It comes straight from the wood burning oven to you so hot that you better let it rest before trying to touch it. It's semi hollow, and steam just pours out when you open it. We always order one and get sides of balsamic and olive oil to dip in. Always. That olive oil. I've tried to but can't find a brand that even comes close to it. Nope. Heavenly robust, tingly, peppery, and green. And that thick sweet balsamic. I could drizzle that on anything. Others! There are salads, limited dessert and appetizers. Next we're trying the burrata on top of roasted grape tomatoes with crostini on the side and balsamic drizzle. They have a rotating soup of the day I like to try made from scratch with real fresh ingredients. How rare these days. The pastina blew my mind. I should have gotten a bowl! Same with the chicken orzo, full of chunky vegs, easy on the orzo, clear, savory broth, and plenty of pulled, real chicken. So there you have it. My obsession with Odi's, with their food, their atmosphere, their people, and their passion. No apologies here. I hope you give them a try.

This place was such a great surprise. I told all of my coworkers about it. The service was great, our server was very knowledgeable and explained how their sauces were made from scratch and how they use the wood fired oven.

    White pizza with mortadella

Nope!!! I paid almost $30 for a small pizza with cheese and literally 4 pieces of mortadella WOW. great flavor but really almost $30 for that. Not again sorry

Nice quiet little place. Nicely decorated as if you were in Italy. Great service from a young man whose name, unfortunately, I can't remember. We was well acquainted with the menu and very helpful. My wife and I shared a half pepperoni half ham and artichoke. Once again I don't remember the names of the pizza. It was FANTASTIC! The best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfect- crispy yet chewy. The sauce was fresh and delicious. When I said pepperoni I mean multiple kinds and perfect cupping crispy edges. The ham half was equally as good. We will definitely be back.

I was really hoping for an amazing pizza and maybe it would have been better had I not favored it but 2 small pizzas (gluten free and a margharita) was $47! I am guessing this is just a standard size (I wasn't given an option in the favor app to make it larger), but both were cut into 4 slices. If I cut those in half, I have 8 small slices. For the price I was not impressed. Kids gave it thumbs down. The coating on the back of the gluten free pizza was caked on and unpleasant. Your lips are covered in it when taking a bite. Love to support local but I won't order again. Also, for $50 I expect a larger pizza.

Amazing Neapolitan style pizza! We ordered a margherita and a Genova and both were amazingly fresh with the perfect puff and chew of a Neopolitan crust. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. It's a small dining room but they're doing something right. I highly recommend Odi's.

Margherita Pizza Diavola Pizza Diavola Pizza with American Pepperoni

Second favorite pizza place. Brick oven style pizza with amazing additions to the pizza. The staff know the menu so well and are more than happy to explain the differences in their pizzas. A bottle of white wine matches perfectly with a margarita pizza. The brick oven is turns on and they grab wood from the stack making the whole place feel like an upscale pizza joint. P.S. don't skip on the soup of the days some of the best chili and baked potato soup I've ever had

I'm always on the hunt for a great brick oven pizza! The reviews were great so we decided to make the drive from Port A! I must admit, our expectations weren't high when we arrived. However, I'm so happy to admit that this place is awesome! The service was great and the food even better! We had the meatball appetizer, 2 pizzas, salad, and cannolis! Everything was phenomenal!!! The pizza even had the perfect amount of char on the sides and bottom! I would most definitely recommend this restaurant! We will absolutely return! We would love to see an outdoor dining experience here!

The pasta was fresh. The meatballs were the size of our heads. The ambiance was delightful. A must Italian restaurant if you are in Corpus.

I was expecting a robust menu with a variety of yummy tapas to choose from. The menu was underwhelming with appetizers, not tapas, and a limited menu. A wine menu was provided, but a cocktail menu, or beer selected were not offered or available. We ordered a salad and appetizers. The salad was good and the best part of the meal. We also ordered the crab nachos and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Cute names on the menu, but unfortunately, again underwhelming and lacking flavor. The nachos were bland, with little flavor or seasoning. The most exciting part of the nachos were the thinly sliced jalapeños. The bacon wrapped shrimp were more flavorful with a red chutney/salsa. Tasty, but how can you go wrong with shrimp and bacon. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Our waiter brought over a hand written dessert menu. Hard to read the print, but he explained all the desserts. We had a brownie and ice cream dish that was delicious. Overall, cute place, great concept, great service but just "ok". Probably wont be back...unfortunately.....wanted it to work.
