I guess I fell victim again to another small business dump. Then I go to pay. They don't do real receipts, everything is handwritten, so I didn't even know the total until it was time to pay. It came out to $46, which seemed off, but I brushed it off and paid. It kept bothering me though because I don't like being taken advantage of, so I went back and asked for a price breakdown. I was met with a very defensive and rude manager who was completely unhelpful. She told me the salads we were offered, which I did not order, cost extra because they were Caesar salads. Mind you, I wasn't even going to order a salad. The waitress told me it came with the entree. No upcharge was mentioned when I ordered, so of course I assumed it was included with the meal. Apparently not. The manager told me it was listed on the menu and that it was my fault for not reading it more carefully. She refused to refund the salads because I had already eaten them. When I asked for my tip back, she said no to that too. I'm sorry... the tip I added on top voluntarily? Eventually she did give the tip back, but only after arguing about it.
