This place was VERY good! My husband and I absolutely loved their burgers and fries. We didn't try…read morethe milkshake because we aren't really milkshake people but we ARE burger people. I always say that a burger needs to stand out from other "traditional" burger places, and the ingredient that stood out to me the most was the pickles. The pickles were most definitely house-pickled, and they had such a good kick to the burger! We loved them. After our first bite, my husband and I looked at each other because we immediately noticed that the pickles were different. Then we took our second bite, and it was just a great explosion of flavor in your mouth. We were actually the second customers there, so our burgers were made fresh right after we ordered. The guy working was by himself at the time, taking orders and making the food, so I definitely recommend being patient if you visit when they're short-staffed. Someone came in after us and was told there would be about a 30-minute wait, and I honestly completely understood. He was doing everything himself! We also talked about going back to try their onion rings and maybe even giving their milkshake a shot. Our drink of choice this time was a Michelada, and they use Clamato, which was a HUGE plus for me. I personally can't stand Michis made with Bloody Mary mix. This one was tasty and paired perfectly with our burgers. Overall, we had a really good experience and a delicious meal. If you're coming to Swagyu, I recommend bringing a little patience and optimism. You're getting fresh food, and it's worth the wait!

He had a horrible attitude I could totally understand being left alone and being upset about it. What I dont understand is making customers feel not welcomed, making them feel like a bother and arguing with us over uncooked fries. He was super snarky and I empathize to an extent but dang, we just wanted good food not to bother. I really see this as a management/owner issue more than a reflection of the worker but still left a bad taste for a first visit. Ambiance: I mean its clean. But I'll be ordering to go if we decide to try this place again.

Average Steak ... the place is beautiful no doubt, we were the only customers in a Saturday night…read morewhich is odd for a restaurant if you think about it. It supposed to be a "grilled yourself "type of deal but the give us the menu took our order and ok ...if I didn't ask that I could go to the grill it would've been a regular steak restaurant. Other thing was the steak itselves..t-bone??? .." t-none " was more like it..a super thin t-bone for 550 pesos...an arrachera for 300 and something...the mashed potatoes where good until the veggies ..even I could tell those are the frozen one you know the ones with curly cuts?? Well overall is a good place but a one time only for me and my husband.

While most places, and rightfully so, serve Mexican food in Tijuana, I'm often on the hunt for something else. In the case of Tu Parrilla I was taking a group of 12 guys for a spin around TJ and to kick the day off we wanted to watch the fight. Tu Parrilla came up in my research and they were very happy to host our group! Fire up the grill, get the burgers ready, throw on some hot dogs, and drop a couple plates of chicken wings on us and we'll be just fine. This was exactly the case and I personally love the cook-it-yourself feature like we find here in San Diego at Turf Club. Oh, yes, they also have steaks on the menu (that you'll have to cook) and someone need to get the guts to cook one or two of those monster tomahawk ribeyes! Aside from the descent food Tu Parrilla also can take pride in having a great/attentive staff and clean bathrooms. This is something you don't take for granted when south of the border, friends.

Everything was cooked and presentation was very well put. The staff here have been here a while as I recognize them throughout the years of being here. The food is good but I will say they have a freezer temp issue cause multiple times here I got ice cream and it was freezer burned. I dint expect much but just thought I let some of you know. Everything else was great. All my food and presentation of it, I can't complain. My ducks were also spot on and left me ready to crash after the festivities. The prices are REALLY good in my opinion. The service is also good and people watching. Mannn you witness so much stuff from that balcony lol but I'll let you tell it. Stay safe and enjoy. Ohhh they take Apple Pay there which is a huge plus from those not wanting to use their actual cc. Music there is usually a nice house mix and the ambiance is good inside. It's the outside views you need to look out for. I swear this place is a GTA 5 server in real life lol.
