He visitado Barrikas, Slowburger, Beverly Burgers, Indie Burgers, Mark Burgers, Nantli Burger,…read moreBurger Jack, Hulk's Y Truck 91. Y te puedo decir que prefiero Yo Mommaz Burgers a In-And-Out.

Average Steak ... the place is beautiful no doubt, we were the only customers in a Saturday night…read morewhich is odd for a restaurant if you think about it. It supposed to be a "grilled yourself "type of deal but the give us the menu took our order and ok ...if I didn't ask that I could go to the grill it would've been a regular steak restaurant. Other thing was the steak itselves..t-bone??? .." t-none " was more like it..a super thin t-bone for 550 pesos...an arrachera for 300 and something...the mashed potatoes where good until the veggies ..even I could tell those are the frozen one you know the ones with curly cuts?? Well overall is a good place but a one time only for me and my husband.

I need to mix things up a bit when I head into my favorite neighborhood of San Diego, also known…read moreas, Tijuana. While most places, and rightfully so, serve Mexican food in Tijuana, I'm often on the hunt for something else. In the case of Tu Parrilla I was taking a group of 12 guys for a spin around TJ and to kick the day off we wanted to watch the fight. Tu Parrilla came up in my research and they were very happy to host our group! Fire up the grill, get the burgers ready, throw on some hot dogs, and drop a couple plates of chicken wings on us and we'll be just fine. This was exactly the case and I personally love the cook-it-yourself feature like we find here in San Diego at Turf Club. Oh, yes, they also have steaks on the menu (that you'll have to cook) and someone need to get the guts to cook one or two of those monster tomahawk ribeyes! Aside from the descent food Tu Parrilla also can take pride in having a great/attentive staff and clean bathrooms. This is something you don't take for granted when south of the border, friends.

First time visiting TJ in years and it was so much fun! I love a good food market hall, and I had…read moreno idea Telefónica even existed. It reminds me of some of the big food halls in Los Angeles (Grand Central Market, Haven City, etc.) packed with delicious food and beverage options. Just a quick Uber ride from the border and you can be munching on fresh ceviche and savoring an ice cold glass of house-made sangria. That's exactly what we ordered! I appreciated the option for indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was an extremely hot and humid day, we opted to sit inside, where the fans were a lifesaver. We ordered drinks at the bar inside and then picked up food from one of the several vendors outside. The staff was welcoming and checked on us several times, even offering our group a large table upstairs, which was a considerate touch. From coffee to pastries, sweets, snacks, wine, beer, seafood, pizza, and everything in between, Telefónica is a great way to start or end your day in TJ. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in town!

This place is amazing. Disregard any bad reviews that you may see…read more the truth is they have so many different types of food here, the biggest problem is deciding which one you want to eat. My advice, take a cheap UBER instead of driving as parking is not fast. When you arrive take a walk though quickly to get a lay of the land and see what the options are. Maybe grab a michelada on the way in since the bar is right there. I'd pick one or 2 or 3 places to try as long as what you order fits together. the last thing you'd want to eat would be a taco and a hot dog. BE MINDFUL: Realize you are in Mexico. This place wasn't really made for tourists, it's more of a local spot and it's pretty safe. That being said they don't usually care too much about dealing with complaints. Take breath a little bit Karen and enjoy the experience. The tables are open seating, so maybe while you grab food, send your friend to find a table. they also had a cat there that was so chill and wanted to be pet.
