This is my favorite place to club in TJ. You do have to pay an entry price but it's not to bad. There's four huge stages within this club. Each stage plays different music but my favorite is the first stage area near the entry & exit. They play all kind of music from reggaetón, to bachata, to middle eastern music, etc. The drinks are very inexpensive ! I got a bucket of 9 beers for $9.00. Basically $1.00 a beer! Where can you find that at? The customer service is always amazing!! The servers are very attentive. My favorite thing about this place is that THE BATHROOMS ARE SUPER CLEAN!! Sounds stupid right? But if you go use the bathrooms in other TJ spots you will understand how much I appreciated their clean bathroom. The only negative is that the food they cook at the restaurant is nasty. Let me start off by saying this isn't a world class nightclub, this is more of a old school style Mexican Discotech. There's four separate rooms within the club and each has different music. Drinks are extremely low priced, especially compared to American nightclubs and bars. The staff is nice and attentive, make sure to tip. Dancing is fun and there isn't a shortage of pretty ladies to dance with. If there is a concert going on make sure to come early to avoid the long line and to get a good table. I've been in here before, but this time around there was a far larger crowd. It was a weekend night, and my buddies and I were bar hoping along Ave Revolucion. This place has a cover charge of $13.00US. Within, there are several rooms, each with it's own music or event. There is a lot of seating in this place, perfect to sit around with a bucket of beers and chill with friends. The dance floors are OK, but it's more of a divey feel. There is a stage where live bands play. When we went there, we realized that there were more people here than the fire code may permit. But damn, the music was not bad at all, and the crowd was loving it. The crowd is mixed here, but it is mostly locals. It's not too bad of an experience, as you get a feel of the party culture here. I would recommend checking out clubs in Zona Rio to get a good well rounded feel of the clubbing scene here. read more

I have to say that I had passed Las Pulgas numerous times through the years, although never made my way inside. I came here for the first time on a Saturday night in November and have to say I was pretty impressed. First thing to mention is the line. This is one reason why I have been deterred from Las Pulgas in the past. Since I was with a group I just went with the flow and was pleased that the line with fairly quickly. On the night I visited the cover was $5, which was annoying since some years back I was told it was $3. Once I got in the first thing I noticed was how massive the place is. From what I remember,there are at least three large rooms and one of them has a balcony that goes around 3 sides and a giant screen in front. I guess a direct benefit of that is that there can be many customers which means many ladies to dance with. I don't know what the drink prices are since I paid my friends' cover charge they bought my drinks. I do have to disagree with some other Yelpers that have reviewed Las Pulgas in that they say the customers are "trashy" or "low class." On the night I visited the attendees were dressed in regular nighttime attire and no one stood out as "ghetto." They should consider updating the men's bathrooms and even having a bathroom attendant to keep an eye on things. In conclusion, if you are in el centro de Tijuana and in the mood to dance check out Las Pulgas. read more

Wow Las Pulgas! Almost forgot bout this place till I saw the homie Riley reviewed it recently. Her review is on point by the way, low ballers & Rachetness is what you will find here BUT I won't lie the both times I've come here it was kind of fun but I probably wouldn't go back, ok I'm lying I probably would go back if I'm drunk. Ahhh yes right when you walk in you can smell the cheap Avon perfume & cologne in the air! Here is where you'll fine the low budget drug dealers wearing the dirty white jeans, old 90's silk shirts with Cowboys boots with the tip missing or scratched & the paisa baby mommas wearing leopard skirts & the 80's Madonna little black boots & fake chipped dirty jewelry with more make up on then Michael Jackson. So basically yes you'll find all the Spring Valley Swap Meet wardrobe up in here. But the crowd is fun tho! No lie! The music is ok & the alcohol is very affordable the cover charge is pretty high tho. The club might be a bit beat up & ghetto but their bathrooms are very clean I was surprised. But be careful there is where you'll see people doing lines of drogas. So just go in pee or crap wipe you're Nalgas & get out & don't make eye contact but if you do just say "Hey amigo nice camisa, Spring Valley Swapmeet huh" & give him or her a thumbs up & speed walk out. Yes this might be one of the most ratchet clubs in Tijuas but it's good to come & people watch have a good laugh drink & yes have a little fun & that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1. Tho I've said I'd never come again I probably will if I'm drunk broke & roaming the TJ streets late at night looking for a fun cheap time & miss the smell of Avon perfume. If you want to want end up being robbed by someone i suggested to stay away from here.They keep letting people in no matter in the club has capacity for so many people. So long story short we're we where seating, the table next to us had a large party they had easy access to our table and when i notice my Iphone was missing. This place is super fun! If you are into dancing salsa, or bachata this is your place. The place gets crowded, but it's huge inside. Even with thousands (yes, thousands) of people inside, it wasn't hard to get around, get a table, get a drink at the bar, or find room on one of four dance floors. The best thing is since the dollar has gone up in the past few months, you can get a bucket of beers (6) for $6 USD! You can't get one beer in SD for $6. I had a great time and I plan to return soon.
