Her hair was perfection, each strand of hair was in its place and the cut was so flattering as well as her color. I asked for the referral. I called Ela and scheduled 2 appointments for myself and my daughter. Last time I had a haircut this good was 17 years ago when I lived in NYC. Coincidentally, turned out we both lived in the same neighborhood and Ela knows my former stylist. She has the same training and background, we had a lot in common and our conversation was fun. . It's been 3 days since my haircut and I received so many compliments. My husband NEVER says anything about how I look, EVER!but he actually complimented my new look this time and that alone says a lot. I am very pleased and scheduled my color appointment soon. I called a few salons in the areas and they couldn't fit me in for a cut and color, it was one or the other, me being the brat that I am wanted to get both done. I called Salon 221 and due to a cancellation they were able to fit me in for a cut and color so I was pretty happy before I even walked into the salon. I have very thick and dark Asian hair. Every time I get it dyed, it's never comes out the color I was hoping for. I showed Betsy a picture of the color I wanted and expected her to be like "nah girl, we can't do that in one session," but to my surprise she worked her magic and made it happen.
