The spray tan artist told me she had "four years of experience" and that I'd be thrilled with the result -- right before hurrying me out to get to her next appointment. My knuckles and hands? Burnt orange. I spent hours scrubbing them in a panic, trying not to look like an Oompa Loompa in my wedding photos. I had to literally use a Brillo pad & dish soap The tan was patchy, uneven, and frankly, awful. Thank God for my gown being long sleeves -- but even with that, I still looked orange underneath and mg dress was entirely backless. The day of the party, not only were there no extensions (for the birthday girl or anyone else), but the girl doing the hair looked like she's never done hair a day in her life (She even told me she was not a stylist!). She just did a simple braid on my daughter and I was really upset. For some other girls, she put a few curls with a curling iron and did nothing else. I am assuming based on my experience earlier in the week not being able to contact the salon that all the regular stylists were on vacation since the salon was officially closed. Not one of the 3 hosts had any enthusiasm and barely interacted with any of the girls. I had a few parents even say to me that they were very low energy. I think you can imagine how disappointed I was. One of the hosts did simple "face paint" where you could barely recognize what it was she was painting. She also left in the middle of the party - which I thought was very unprofessional. There was also absolutely no structure or flow to the party and everything was free for all. They advertise on the website "Stress-free and all-inclusive celebrations". This party was anything but. I was completely stressed and embarrassed the entire time. My daughter was disappointed about the karaoke. The kids were just grabbing the microphone and making noises. I was very overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. I had to stop the girl from doing hair to play the bingo game that I brought. There was no host-led dancing or other games. The salon had no cake knife or at least something to cut the cake with and the pieces were absolutely butchered. This party was clearly an afterthought and the only nice things about it were what I brought to the salon. It was embarrassing for me as the host and to have other adults notice too. The 3 ladies had no energy and looked like they didn't even want to be there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was also ghosted when I tried addressing these issues with the owner.

I did the express tan, but didn't shower till the next day and the color stayed fine for at least 7 to 10 days. Hopefully I can be back if they're running some specials. The technician was lovely and the space is very clean in a building with lots of other salons and spas. Easy parking outside. As I'm on my way to her wedding, only two days after I got the spray tan, please look at my legs to indicate how uneven this spray was applied. I had requested a Sr. employee too! I swear by Benefit in Westport and go there when I need a spray tan because they do a fantastic job, but they were completely booked up.
