They did an excellent job across all stages of the process. The pricing was fair and transparent, with each service clearly itemized. The quality of their team was consistently high--from slab layout design and scheduling to templating, fabrication, and final installation. Every step was handled with care and professionalism, and the finished results look great. We're very satisfied with Artistic Stone's work and would gladly recommend their services.

From start to end I had a good experience with US Superior Stone and Tile. The TLDR/most important…read moretakeaways are: make your order in person and be assertive about asking for help rather than waiting for staff to come to you First, I visited every place that sold countertop and tile in the east Bay Area. USSS&T had the best prices by a significant amount. I looked at all their options, got quotes, and went home to think about it. I ended up returning in person to place my order, and I STRONGLY recommend anybody who wants to place an order do so in person. Most of the staff do not seem to have English as their first language so a miscommunication might be more likely to happen over the phone. Also, when I picked the stone I wanted for my countertop, they actually allowed me into the warehouse area where I was permitted to pick which slab I wanted of the ones available. That's not an experience most places will offer. They helped us load the tile into our car and we scheduled a time for them to install the countertop. Brief note that I emailed them about making an order the same morning that I decided to go in person, and they took over two weeks to reply to my email. So again, ORDER IN PERSON. They arrived at the time they'd said they would. I will say they told me they'd arrive "after 1pm", and the day of installation around 11am I got a call from USSS&T saying the installation guys would actually be arriving an hour early, at noon. They ended up arriving at 1pm anyways. So they got right down to business, very efficient and polite, made sure to check in with me and my contractor at each step. The whole thing was done in about 1.5 hours. I really recommend them. I also want to note that some other reviews mention the staff members seem unenthusiastic or rude. There's obviously a cultural difference here. The staff members were never rude or anything to me, they were very professional. If you want help at the store you can't just wait around hoping for somebody to approach you. You have to go up to a staff member and ASK to be helped. At this point they are happy to help and will be very efficient. They are also all knowledgable so no matter who you get to help you they'll be able to answer any question you have.

Since we came with a diagram and measurements of the slabs ready, we received a quote on the spot, and we were shocked that the quote was about half the price of a nearby competitor and a fraction of the price of estimates for stone and installation online. They were very accommodating and super helpful generally. Once we paid for the stone in person a few weeks later, we went to the back to choose the 3 slabs. They were helpful in telling us which slabs might not be as nice considering we wanted smaller patterns. Then on the day of our kitchen renovation, the men who came to cut and sand the stone in our kitchen and took the whole day. They were really careful and made sure it fit perfectly. It was messy but that's all part of the renovation project. Grateful we found them!

There is an enormous selection of natural stone to see in person, and the space is well organized and easy to browse. I came in looking for a very specific piece of black natural stone for a small furniture project rather than a typical countertop or flooring job. The staff were welcoming and helpful even though I only needed a single 18" × 18" tile. I found a gorgeous polished black granite tile that was exactly what I was looking for. The sales rep, Joe, who worked with me also took the time to connect me with someone who could professionally finish and polish the raw edges for my project, which was extremely helpful. After spending considerable time choosing the perfect slab, I was told it had been sold to someone else. This showed a serious lack of organization and gave me false hope during an already stressful renovation. The owner, Al Ong, told me he would compensate me for the inconvenience, but I never received anything or any meaningful follow-up. The communication throughout the process was poor, and I was left feeling that customer service was not a priority. Based on my experience, I found the team to be disorganized and lacking the professionalism and attention to detail I expected. I would not recommend Tez Marble and would encourage others to look elsewhere if they want a company that communicates well, honors its commitments, and values its customers.
