Fidel handled it with no problems at all. He BACKED in and all the way up. Then, once he got up there, we had a gate with turns and corners and down a hill- to drive the forklift on, again no problem. He helped me figure out where to put stuff and even helped spread the tarp for the sand. No problems at all. If you have a daunting project and are thinking of buying from Home Depot-forget that, figure out what you need and call them. Both times I gave him a big tip. $20, he's very shy about accepting, but I insisted. Hope this is OK. Don't forget to ask for Fidel.

Economy Lumber, Oakland: May 2022…read more In my line of work, I deal with a number of businesses - one of them is Economy Lumber. I usually offer my real estate clients 2 or 3 companies to pick from. Recently, we purchased the lumber here for our personal project. Upon putting the structure up, we noticed that one of the largest beams have a visible crack. We had a lumber expert over to check - and was informed that the crack has been there for quite some time, and is not due to transporting or installing. Granted the beam is not carrying a load - the length of the beam may continue to crack and pose a danger to anyone who happen to sit or walk under it. I contacted Economy Lumber and spoke with their manager, Toby Warwick. Due to the distance (about 4-hour drive) between Economy Lumber and the location where the project's taking place, I decided to see if Economy Lumber would reimburse us for the cost of that one beam so we can get the issue fixed locally. Given the possible severity of our concern, he reached out to his higher-ups - and worked out two possible scenarios. It took several communications via phone, texts, and email... but, Toby came through. I opted for a reimbursement and received the cheque within a week. Toby's professionalism and understanding makes me confident to refer them to my clients. I am extremely pleased to work with them.
