I recently had quartz countertops installed. I love the quartz but the install was flawed. I'm very unhappy with how the sink was mounted and this company refused to re-mount my sink and solve my problem. Poor customer service. Unfortunately, I'm out of thousands and very unhappy. For all of us Real Estate Investors who need to keep costs down for a flip or rental turn...... This place has the best prices on cabinets and granite counter tops in the bay area. Good selection on both cabinetry and granite tops. Quality is above average, not on the top end but definitely not cheap....European hinges and 1/4 ply for the carcass....not particle board. They keep costs down because the pieces come from China and low storefront overhead...don't expect a designer showcase....think contractor's special. It's busy on the weekends and expect a no nonsense approach by the staff.....have an idea of what you want before you go to the counter...and get measurements before you go. We had a good experience buying our kitchen cabinets, granite, and sink from these people. The salesperson who helped us with the design was very helpful, the cabinets were of high quality, and the prices were great. HOWEVER, when we recently went back to purchase cabinets for our laundry room, they made cabinets for us that looked nothing like the cabinets they had shown us in the computer rendering. We asked them to either make the cabinets we had ordered or to refund us our money. They refused to do either and hired a lawyer who harassed and intimidated us over the phone to try to get us to take the incorrect cabinets. We eventually had to get our credit card company to stop payment. While you can occasionally get good cabinets and decent design service from this company, realize that their customer service can be downright awful. read more

Superior is consistent with its name. From beginning to the very end of a significant remodel, I had exceptional service and high quality products and installation of porcelain floor tiling, kitchen cabinets, 3 vanities, and both Quartz and granite countertops. Ere patiently helped my wife and I design the kitchen cabinets and the vanities for the bathrooms. She made herself always promptly available in person, phone or email. When she wasn't available, others kindly pitched in. When time came for the demolition, I was a little nervous, not knowing the upcoming quality of work or the possible collateral damages. I was relieved and impressed with the meticulous care Yi and his crew took, as well as their helpful advice for the future installations. Yi was also in charge of the floor installation. The work was not only efficiently completed, but it's quality was complimented by another floor installer that did my subsequent hardwood refinishing. Finally, Simon and his father installed the cabinets, vanities, and countertops, all in 2 days, which included cutting the sink cutouts and Quartz slabs to size. I highly doubted their ability to complete the work in 2 days, but I was proved wrong! They worked over 8 hours each day to meet the deadline, without compromising quality. The result was impeccable installation and an amazing house transformation that was applauded by family, friends and southern Marin neighbors. I have purchased many items from this store - when buying granite - ask the salesperson that you would like to choose the granite , you then go to pick out the granite write something to identify the piece so when you pick it up or have it installed you will know it is the piece that u bought. Granite is all natural and is all different , for people that think it is all the same they must be idiots. When picking out cabinets they build them to order so take measurements and dont complain when you measure the cabinets and they don not fit- they have exchanged these cabinets for me in the past before picking them up when there was something i did not like about the cabinets ( scratches or wood nicks) Overall these prices are great and the granite is so inexpensive - compared to home depot prices on granite that start at 50.00 a sq ft & superior hardware has a 8 ft section starting at 60.00 read more

for those looking for adequate cabinets that are structurally sound and pass the cosmetic test, Superior Hardware is OK. Decent prices, expect about 5K on cabinets for a 10x20 kitchen. I would personally pass on their stone tops as better selections and quality are available elsewhere at a slightly higher price. If you think they are ok, look at the counter slabs at an angle from the bottom and look up and you will see that the polishing effort is lacking. From the previous poster that was a real estate investor, his comments are dead on. Low prices for passable kitchens designed to pass the 20 ft eyeball test. English is not preferred here so don't expect the best customer experience. I used these folks for a reasonable upgrade for a kitchen that was our rental that we decided to sell. Got the cabinets here and spent a bit more on fantastic granite elsewhere. Achieves the desired wow effect. read more

Shopping for a new kitchen can be stressful. It took me me nearly a month to narrow it down to which company, cabinet and granite I wanted to go with. Yan was the one who helped me and she was very helpful with the entire process. Be sure to ask her for a discount and throw in a free sink. I recommend asking for her when you enter the store. I went price shopping at quite a few places (i.e. granite expo, sincere, them and another place in Vallejo (forgot the name) by far Superior had the cheapest price not as much of a selection but defn the cheapest overall price. I believe this may vary slightly depending on the granite and cabinet choice but still by far cheaper than HD by 50%. For others I would say it will be a difference of a few of hundred dollars if not more due to location of the business, the size of the business, low storefront overhead and quality of the cabinets. The granite will be different by 10-20 dollars per sq ft or standard size slab. The showcase wont ooooh or ahhhh you so much compared to Granite Expo or Sincere so dont walk in there expexting to see Home Expo displays. The software they use to design the kicthen isnt nearly sophisticated as the others but it does get the job done. The installer Yong was super dilegent and took his time to get things done professionally. It did take two days to get everything installed whereas Granite expo can do it in one day. If going to granit expo I suggest asking for Wing. The granite had some minor flaws but luckily I was able to have that part cut off and not installed. If you are picking out a relatively light granite, I suggest going to the warehouse to pick it out. If you know of a contractor already I suggest buying parts from Superior or Sincere. The cabinet quality and style gets the job done. Its not solid and heavy and the quality is okay. You get what you pay for. If on a budget this is a great place, if you arent so much on a budget I suggest Granite Expo or Sincere since they carry way more selections and grades of cabinets but you do pay more. I would defn use them again and recommend them. Oh dont forget to look for dovetail cabinets over nailed or stapled cabinets at the corners of the drawers. Avoid weekends since it gets preety crazy in there, try to go on a weekeday. read more

They were helping me search for almost an hour. No one gave up and my contractor wouldn't have been able to proceed without it. Bought kitchen cabinets and granite counter top. The prices were lower than the big chain stores - and the niche shops. Up to 40% less for comparable quality. But be prepared - and not just the challenges unless you speak Cantonese or Mandarin - to watch them closely and check the paperwork carefully. There are no returns or exchanges. I caught a couple problems with the cabinets, but the shrink wrap concealed the lack of an even side on two wall cabinets. And the color of the granite was quite different than on display. I needed a sink and of course I checked online retailers for pricing and availability. No one had the size sink I needed and I did not want to wait a week for a delivery if someone did have it. I read a review on Yelp about the pricing at superior and I gave them a shot. They are not that far from where I live so I went to check. The service was fast and they had the item I needed in stock and the right size! But the kicker was that the item of better quality than the Depot was $40 dollars cheaper!! I was a happy camper!! They even helped with the loading, without me saying anything!! It was a great experience and I was in and out super pronto! NEVER purchase from this company, all they care about is getting their money and once they have it you're screwed!!! I had a really bad experience with this place. I ordered granite slabs and had them cut to fit my kitchen. The color was White Galaxy(off white with maroon speckles). When I came to pick up the order there was black streaks and obvious scratches/dings where you can tell it wasn't handled very carefully in there warehouse. There was also a huge language barrier since they are all Chinese and only one of them speaks some broken English. I tried to plead with her showing her all the obvious blemishes but she just pointed back to their printed policy, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. She also gave me some BS about it being "natural stone" and every piece is different. But yet somehow their display is absolutely flawless. So I went to their warehouse and the first thing I noticed was all the slabs were stacked on top of one another with nothing protecting them and they wonder why they end up looking damaged. I could never use that damaged looking granite in my beautiful kitchen and ended up just leaving it there and walking away. It was a HARD lesson to learn...and I had to take about a $1000 dollar loss. read more

Very horrible experience picking up the cabinets. The loading dock is around the corner from the main entrance. Man was eating a sandwich and ignored us. Their box truck was blocking the dock and they said it didn't work and they couldn't move it out of the way. Without using any caution to avoid scratching the cabinets, they were rushing me to sign the order. I refused until they got me cardboard to place between the cabinets. Suddenly they said they had to move their truck to rush us, so we wouldn't have time to inspect the cabinets. With the cabinets dangerously stacked, we had to pull onto the street and reposition the cabinets (which took about 45 minutes) in order to safely tie them down ourselves. It turns out their truck had plates that were expired over a year ago. The men bantered back and forth in Chinese pretending they did not understand us; I had to go around the corner to the main entrance to get someone to intervene. I believe the whole thing was a set up, to get us to rush away without noticing that some of the cabinets had some flaws. Had we driven away with the cabinets stacked the way they carelessly stacked them, the cabinets would have flown off our pick-up and killed someone on Highway 80. read more
