The service was great. Their prices are unbeatable. They speak multiple languages and always have deliveries available.

The people who work there are nice and approachable. What I reallt enjoyed was the fruit and torta stand right outside. I think the lady gipped me though. For a carne asada torta, can of coke and a cup of cucumbers she charged me $13...uhhh...ya I think she totally took advantage of me lol Other than that, the fork lift drivers unload quick and its right near the free way.

They have high quality materials and are prompt. Fidel is the driver we've had both times. We have a narrow driveway, up a big hill with some turns off of a busy street. Fidel handled it with no problems at all. He BACKED in and all the way up. Then, once he got up there, we had a gate with turns and corners and down a hill- to drive the forklift on, again no problem. He helped me figure out where to put stuff and even helped spread the tarp for the sand. No problems at all. If you have a daunting project and are thinking of buying from Home Depot-forget that, figure out what you need and call them. Both times I gave him a big tip. $20, he's very shy about accepting, but I insisted. Hope this is OK. Don't forget to ask for Fidel.

Economy Lumber Company - And this is the replacement after two people inspected it.

Economy Lumber Company

Economy Lumber, Oakland: May 2022…read more In my line of work, I deal with a number of businesses - one of them is Economy Lumber. I usually offer my real estate clients 2 or 3 companies to pick from. Recently, we purchased the lumber here for our personal project. Upon putting the structure up, we noticed that one of the largest beams have a visible crack. We had a lumber expert over to check - and was informed that the crack has been there for quite some time, and is not due to transporting or installing. Granted the beam is not carrying a load - the length of the beam may continue to crack and pose a danger to anyone who happen to sit or walk under it. I contacted Economy Lumber and spoke with their manager, Toby Warwick. Due to the distance (about 4-hour drive) between Economy Lumber and the location where the project's taking place, I decided to see if Economy Lumber would reimburse us for the cost of that one beam so we can get the issue fixed locally. Given the possible severity of our concern, he reached out to his higher-ups - and worked out two possible scenarios. It took several communications via phone, texts, and email... but, Toby came through. I opted for a reimbursement and received the cheque within a week. Toby's professionalism and understanding makes me confident to refer them to my clients. I am extremely pleased to work with them.

There is an enormous selection of natural stone to see in person, and the space is well organized and easy to browse. I came in looking for a very specific piece of black natural stone for a small furniture project rather than a typical countertop or flooring job. The staff were welcoming and helpful even though I only needed a single 18" × 18" tile. I found a gorgeous polished black granite tile that was exactly what I was looking for. The sales rep, Joe, who worked with me also took the time to connect me with someone who could professionally finish and polish the raw edges for my project, which was extremely helpful. Excellent selection, knowledgeable and friendly people, and genuinely great customer service. I'll definitely come back to Tez the next time I need stone.

I would not waste your time with Tez Marble…read more My experience was incredibly disappointing. After spending considerable time choosing the perfect slab, I was told it had been sold to someone else. This showed a serious lack of organization and gave me false hope during an already stressful renovation. The owner, Al Ong, told me he would compensate me for the inconvenience, but I never received anything or any meaningful follow-up. The communication throughout the process was poor, and I was left feeling that customer service was not a priority. Based on my experience, I found the team to be disorganized and lacking the professionalism and attention to detail I expected. I would not recommend Tez Marble and would encourage others to look elsewhere if they want a company that communicates well, honors its commitments, and values its customers.
