Well worth the drive! This place has it all...great, home-cooked food, fascinating history, and one of the best waitresses in the west, Crystal. Ask her anything about the restaurant, the town, or the great food. She's a wealth of knowledge. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon with the Karaoke Competition in full swing (real local flavor, many of the singers were pretty darn good). I had heard of their famous chili and half-pound burgers so that's what I ordered. I was NOT disappointed. The food here is so delicious! But don't think that this is just a burger joint, no way...they have a little of everything. Between the service, food and ambience, you won't find a better place in any size town. Just happens it's in the picturesque and historic town of Chloride, AZ which makes it even more inviting. I was served a burger that gave me scary flashbacks of my High School cafeteria. That bad. That small too, thankfully. But for 10 bucks? With 1 unimpressive side dish? Ah. The Beauty Parlour info was only a rumor. Chloride seems to be fueled by rumors & people who believe they can use loud intimidation to humiliate innocent others in public. Our hiking group of 16 stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. The staff did an excellent job accommodating our group. And everyone raved about the food....especially the burgers. They also have a nice selection of beer. If you're used to high class, fancy restaurants......don't go. But if you love the desert, the mountains and what God's country has to offer.....go and have fun!!! No question........we'll be going back again. read more

Went here again today, very disapointing. It took 45 minutes to place our order because the waitress forgot us after she served us coffee. Another 45 minutes till our food came out and it was cold. But I still slammed my food down as I was hungry and the steak was pretty good but luke warm, eggs were cold as well as the hash browns. My husband had the big miners breakfast all of his food was cold too. Pancakes were very tough and were not edible. This is the 2 time we have been here since the new owners took it over. Waitresses did know which orders went to which tables and plates of food were just sitting under heat lamps for long periods of time. There were other customers who were waiting longer than us and they gave up and walked out. We had high hopes after meeting the new owner back in May 2018, the place has slipped backwards. If you happen to be driving through, it's worth it to stop here for lunch. The food was only OK, but, the service and atmosphere made up for it! It really felt like we were back in time in a mining town. The restaurant is so cute, with all of its antique decor. The servers were so sweet and helpful. There were four of us. We each ordered different entrees, and no one was bragging when we left. It was kind of bland, and maybe even not the freshest. I would still stop again. This place is awesome the food is good and has the atmosphere of the real Wild West from back in the day. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is we called ahead to see if there was a porch to eat at or if it was dog friendly. We were told yes. After Driving an hour just to eat there and see the murals we were told no where for dogs and no porch to eat at. So we had to drive an hour back home to eat somewhere else. We stopped at Yesterdays on Saturday morning to let them know that we would be bringing 25 people from our jeep club there for lunch on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived they were not ready for us like they said and it took close to two hours for the last person in our group to get their food. When the food was brought out the BLTs had under cooked bacon. And the last person to receive her BLT got hers Dropped on the floor. Our group has decided we will never go there again. read more

My friend and I decided to take a day trip to Chloride, AZ to see the famous Roy Purcell Mural somewhere out in the Cerbat mountains and we stopped at Yesterday's where John the owner and Crystal shared not only some of their wonderful dishes but some of the lore of the area. I had delicious chili with cheddar and raw onions over a baked potato and it was very good and held me for the rest of the day. It's the only restaurant in that part of the dessert but they still served great food. Their specialty is the 2 pound burger (enough to feed the family) but they had a turkey, swiss and tomato on sour dough that was a knockout. John is from NY and Crystal is from NJ and they are just so nice and friendly. If you're heading to Chloride, do stop in and try their wonderful food. I had a piece of chocolate layer cake that they flew in from PA and it was delish. You won't be disappointed. Did I mention that they have entertainment every night of the week? read more

Yesterday's makes the best burgers I've ever had. The burger itself is hand made and not like these so called processed patties and you are given the fillings alongside and the bun is nicely toasted. Chloride is a nice little get away from the rat race. read more

We used to eat here dang near every weekend for breakfast. Made it up for dinner once. Our schedule changed so unfortunately our leisurely weekend breakfast did too. Cool little place. Great wonderful staff. Excellent food! For a place in no man's land they sure have a little bit of everything. I'm a sucker.for unique menu items and they have a few. My personal fave is their monte cristo... nom nom nom. Really, excellent food and worth whatever drive you have to take. Ate lunch here last week while on a Harley ride with friends. Service was good and the food was hot and promptly delivered. We couldn't decide if the bacon cheeseburgers were better than the tower of spam sandwich so we decided that on the next trip we would have them cut each sandwich in half so we could share. What a find! Our waitress Crystal was full of history and facts about the area. She was also kind and an amazing and attentive server. The food was actually fantastic! Delicious! Great specials and wonderful attentive staff. My husband and I ate at YESTERDAYS twice during our stay in Chloride. The food was abundant and super yummy! There is a gigantic Rosemary bush growing right by the front door and I was able to pick some and sprinkle it on my home style potatoes. Refreshing ice tea and the best bottomless fried fish special ever! 6$. Our server was very helpful and well informed about the town as well as helping us find a great spot to camp and swim on Lake Mohave. She knew so much about the history of Chloride as well as great factual stories about the amazing artwork inside the restaurant. We slept well at Shep's Miners Inn next door and ate a hearty breakfast the next morning. The hot coffee was strong and very good! DIGGER DAVES bar/restaurant up the street was a fun addition and a great place to have a relaxing beer after our day of exploring the Chloride Murals. We are excited to visit again next year.
