a room with blue and red lights

This is a really neat spot for karaoking if you have a group.. the only thing I would have to complain about is the smell and odor of this place. It was very overwhelming when we first got there but died down right before we left. Really cool idea for an intimate party though!

Called on Christmas to see if they were open. They were. Score. The person answering the phone said they had only one room open, the extra large room so I booked it at 90/hr for the holiday rate. A plus is that it's byob with corkage fees and they provide cups, ice, lemon/ limes are included. Mixers are an additional charge. We arrived at 9pm and were escorted to the room. A security guard checked IDs (21+ if you bring alcohol). The room was quite large and included a mini bar area and private attached restroom. As soon as we walked in, it smelled awful. It smelled like cooked cabbage. The server sprayed with air freshener. The server also brought tiny shot sized paper cups. We were like what the... how are you going to drink out of this?! So he brought actual glasses. Then he came back later to take some of the glasses back because they were running out. They didn't have any limes or lemon and said it was too busy for them to get any. They eventually did bring limes however. The pros: best equipment making it easy to search for songs, great music selection, extra large room had plenty of space for a group of people, byob The cons: room smelled, room interior decoration looked cheesy, obvious that management was trying to cut corners We had a great time but for the hourly rate and advertised services, of you're going to force an 18% tip, charge corkage fees and mixers, please prepare accordingly.

Make sure you read all the fine lines.

You're better off saving your money and doing karaoke at home, because they charge for byob along with charging you the wrong amount for the room size. We were charged a total of 190 for 2 hours and 15 minutes a water was bought and some peanuts. Mind you there was only 6 people and we were charged for the medium room it should have been specified from the beginning. Will definitely not be back and was considering it for another birthday, but it will not be considered an option.

A pink gundam!

Ask the Community - Yes KTV

How up to date are the kpop songs?

Most popular songs are available and they update its collection pretty often. Btw, there a request form you can fill in for songs that you want to sing on the bar table.

Is there a certain age requirement to reserve a room?

Not that I know of. They will card you or your guests if you bring alcohol.

We arrived at seven, and the room was quiet with only a few regulars scattered around. The interior is simple, but the charm of this place is not in the decor. It is in the plate they set in front of you. The steak was a true hidden gem. It had that comforting charcoal flavor that reminds you of backyard evenings and easy laughter. The green beans were seasoned in a peppery way I had never tasted before, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and rich. They even brought a small salad while we waited, which felt like a kind gesture. The wait for the food after ordering was close to an hour. I do not know if that is typical, but it was definitely noticeable, and with no karaoke happening, the room felt very still in that soft, quiet way a weeknight sometimes settles in around you. It seemed like many of the regulars already understood the rhythm of the evening and accepted it with a kind of calm patience. They knew the wait was simply part of the experience and that the reward was worth it. Even with the slow pace, I would return. The food was worth it, and the steak had a flavor that stayed with me. Glitter's Wednesday steak night is a quiet little treasure for anyone who wants a comforting meal in the middle of the week.

So many of the songs we would choose on YouTube would give us an error. That touch screen computer also sucks you have to press down super hard, trying to spell on it is so difficult and takes so long. I'd say we spent almost 15 minutes of our time as a whole troubleshooting and fighting with the computer to play our songs. The technology in these rooms sucked and made our experience frustrating. Our room also got incredibly hot near the end we were all sweating all of a sudden, as if they turned the AC. We asked for them to make it colder but we had only a few minutes left. The service button inside the room doesn't work, we pressed it many times. No one came the exhaust button also doesn't work. There's a 2 hour minimum. And one of the mics they first gave us was dead we had to wave someone down to get us a charged one. Bathrooms are dirty. They never informed us gratuity was going to be mandatory and already added. Very sloppy smelly place. For the price it should have been much better quality.

As they only provide beverages and no food, this probably helps to keep the place clean and prices lower. Like most similar private room karaoke of this setup, the catalog of Asian songs is excellent but the English songs can be limited. If you're looking for something outside of the top 100 of any given year, this can be a bit challenging but if you stick to major artists, boybands, ballads, etc. you should have plenty to sing. Service was quite fast here when the call button was pressed, and fairly friendly as well. The sound quality was overall quite good, both on the speaker system and the microphones as well. We also could not hear any of the rooms next to ours though we didn't have our sound on super loud.

The karaoke rooms were clean, cute, and nice. It had tambourines in there to play with as well. The rooms are a bit smaller maybe 4 people would be comfortable in there. I do believe they do have a bigger room as well. it is recommended to book a reservation ahead of time. It I've a bit loud in the I could hear the next room singing. I didn't like the karaoke set up. It's literally your own YouTube WITH ADS if you don't have YouTube premium. I could do this at home to be honest. I kind of expected a whole karaoke machine with the book to select a song but that was not it. The only reason you would come here is for food and not even the drinks. They do charge by the hour and if it's only 15 mins over you get charged for another hour. The drinks soju didn't do much but it was tasty. I tried the watermelon soju and it was a giant shareable slushie of soju. That slushie a spicy sweet wings I had was not a good pairing. I got a stomachache afterwards. The spicy sweet wings seemed boneless at first because they're such a huge piece but there was a small bone inside it(I didn't order boneless). They do give you a couple of side dishes like a mac and cheese coleslaw type thing and radish. The kimchi fries just seemed like a bunch of frozen fries heated up all thrown together with the kimchi toppings. I also got the cheese corn fondue that wasn't bad. It was nice and cheesy as expected. They also have ice cream for dessert.

Every single dish was spot-on and the portions were quite generous. If I had to pick, the Japchae, Jajang Myeon, and Spicy Seafood Jjampong Soup were especially memorable. A thick noodle is used for the Japchae which held on to the flavor really well and provided more of a bite. The Jajang Myeon and Soup were absolutely bursting with flavor - bold, rich, and truly satisfying. They perfectly captured the essence of what these dishes should taste like: delivering a home-cooked taste at restaurant quality. As typical of Korean restaurant, every meal comes with an assortment of banchan. The kimchi was perfection and it seems like there are unlimited refills for the banchan. Let's not forget that this is a Pocha! There are lots of drink options and they are open late. This also makes for a great place for large groups and seating ranges from open tables or private booths for those looking for something more private. There is an open stage where I suppose open-mic karaoke used to take place, but as of 01/2025 management has put up signs stating it's currently not in use due to noise complaints from the neighbors. Still, there are plenty of private karaoke rooms to be put to use. This place is a hidden gem - it seems like a well-kept secret tucked away in this little neighborhood. I really hope the place gets more traffic in the future. They really deserve it! Overall really great place to come chill at with friends they've got the food, drinks, and karaoke covered.
