I literally bartend up the street and came here after work because I was tired of my bar and wanted a new environment I was literally disappointed like I mean I know I'm black but this is out of line like who wants to be a Karen but this place is totally racist wouldn't recommend at all literally as I am making this I'm looking at the reviews and it seems as if this is common. So warning if you go here and it's a kind of big white guy as they say in the reviews, please don't have face tattoos or nose rings or have your skin darker than white because you will not get any service. Me and coworker go to jumps after a hard days work to unwind and have a few drinks. We both have our work uniforms on and even safety glassware. We proceed to sit down at the bar, grant you have been to this establishment on numerous occasions and are greeted by a stereotypical racial profiling man named Maury. He asked my fellow coworker what he'd be having then turns about pondering for a second then without hesitation tells my coworker I'm sorry but there's "no facial tattoo's " allowed. This is 2023 in Alief, Texas and am appalled and disgusted by this kind of racial profiling. He skipped right past the fact we are wearing work clothes and are ready to spend money at his establishment yet has the audacity to judge my coworker on his appearance. Hi my name is Israel and yesterday night around 1:30am went with some friends to have a last drink before calling it a night. but previously we were at Wild Wild West friendly ambient staff was excellent and the place and music was amazing. so Jumps bar hmm! terrible place to be at in 25 years that i lived here in the USA never in my life have been discriminated due to not having a united states ID bouncer tall bold head long beard guy was very racist and prejudice by denying access to the place so I requested to speak to his supervisor and he did but before even introducing himself ( supervisor ) he told us my girlfriend and I "WE DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE OF YOUR KIND INTO MY BAR" this was very unprofessional I happen to work for a hospitality place and never in my life i have treated people this way of any gender ethnicity race or cultural color. read more

2/6/2021 between 1am to 2am. Me and my two friends were racially profiled by the DJ. A Caucasian lady tried to show off her taser to her friends, at to table behind us. The DJ had the confidence to aggressively run to our sofa, even when the bar tender told him that we aren't the ones. He stated, "Ow it's definitely them". Don't try that food Shelby Stone offers. They don't even make it at the bar, it's made and prepped at a disclosed location. The food gave my friend salmonella and the chills for a week.
