shrimp Summer Rolls / Gỏi Cuốn (2)
    Alahia S.

Delicious Viet food and nice service! The shrimp and pork belly summer rolls were my favorite thing, perfect overall. The pork belly was soo good, perfectly seasoned. Also tried the house-made pork bun, very delicious and the whole egg inside was a funny surprise. I ordered the leftover pork congee. Flavor was delicious, but the texture was a lot more watery than i expected. It had lots of pork meat, sausage and blood curd. Excited to go back and try their Bánh Mì!

Pho supreme was awesome. Homemade broth.

Loves this place. I'm a bit of a pho snob and it is obvious the broths is made from scratch with real bones. Has that extra depth of marrow based deepness. I had the supreme. Wifey had the chicken ban mi and she enjoyed as well..service was good. Would do the spring rolls again. See the attached pic and description. Bathroom needs some attention tho.

A neighborhood gem! This small Vietnamese restaurant serves incredibly fresh, flavorful food that tastes homemade and authentic. The pho broth was rich and comforting, the banh mi was perfectly balanced, and every dish was beautifully seasoned with fresh herbs. My fav is the steak banh mi with an added egg and the special Pho. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the service was warm and welcoming. If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food in a cozy, unpretentious setting, this place is a must-try.

    Beef Pho Supreme with tendon

We had initially decided to head out to our usual favorite place for pho to celebrate our daughter's win when she suggested Yen's Kitchen, which was highly recommended by a classmate for the most authentic pho she has had. Though it is a bit out of the way for us, we decided to drive the extra distance. The place was packed and everyone was happy, staff and guests. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It is a family establishment. We all ordered the beef pho supreme and added tendon, the shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork belly spring rolls. T he e food was delicious. We were especially excited to try the pho and it was phenomenal. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful. Some restaurants' pho broth can sometimes be overpowering with cinnamon or nutmeg but this was perfect. Will certainly return soon!

I dined here during the grand opening two weeks ago. I loved the renovations and decor. Definitely felt like Vietnam-wonderful vibe and atmosphere. The owner and staff were very friendly and it was a fantastic experience. The banh xeo is delicious!! My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in WPB!

Shrimp Summer rolls with amazing Peanut sauce

Really delicious Vietnamese food that is done right! Nice menu of dishes that I wanted to order one if each. They even had a kids menu! We went with the classic Chicken Phò which was made perfectly and not to salty! lots of fresh vegetables and the right amount of chicken and vermicelli. We had it split in the kitchen and there was plenty! We also had two orders of Shrimp summer rolls with a side of a spicy peanut sauce. Wow was it good!! Had them bring a side of spicy chili oil for even more spice. But all was spicy enough I barely could add more. This is a gem of a place and the owner has a big smile that charms all the customers and stopped by to check on each table. Cool looking interior and seating outside which would be great on a spring evening.

On hold for 17 mins without an apology and rude

1 Star Yen's Kitchen is wildly overpriced for what you actually get. The portions are shockingly small for the price, and somehow they still find a way to nickel-and-dime you. Charging an extra $5 just for sauce on the side is outrageous, especially when the food already costs as much as it does. The worst part was my most recent experience. I called in to place an order and was put on hold for 20 minutes when Tracy got back on no apology, no explanation, nothing. If you're going to charge premium prices, at the very least the customer service should match. Between the tiny portions, ridiculous add-on charges, and poor service, this place is absolutely not worth the money. There are plenty of better options that actually respect their customers.

Great Vietnamese food! Every item tastes just like how my grandma and mom make it. Definitely comforting when living far away from family, and wanting to taste a little piece of home (should've learned the recipes from my grandma, aunties, and mom when I grew up!) What drew me here were their rotating noodle soups throughout the week. Today I got the "Banh Canh Cua" - which is like a soupy Vietnamese crab udon. Delish! The service is so friendly and has a family vibe. You can tell that the staff support each other which translates to amazing service to the patrons!

Solid Vietnamese food in Lake Worth! I enjoyed the vegan steamed rice rolls very much. It had a great texture and light flavor to satiate my "I'm not hungry buy I could eat" mood. The shrimp ball skewers were yummy in flavor and texture. I loved all the sauces too. For dessert, the pandan waffle was amazing. One of my favorites that I've tried because of the coconut texture and sweet pandan flavor!

    Warning.

I placed an order for delivery through Uber Eats; when it arrived the order was completely incorrect. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Tracey. She told me that she could not resend the food but she would give me a credit so the next time I ordered I would use the credit. Tonight, I tried to order and what a debacle it was!! I called and spoke to Tracy prior to placing the order and she told me how she preferred I do it, so I followed her directions explicitly. I received notification that she cancelled my order through Uber Eats!! When I called back she told me she had tried to give me the credit and had somehow cancelled the order and I needed to re-order through Uber Eats... Mind you this is almost 45 minutes after the original phone call. She did provide me an alternative option... the restaurant could deliver the food. Here's the kicker... The delivery fee was the exact same amount as the original credit that I had!!!!! Imagine that. Sounds BEYOND shady to me.

Hi there Michelle! For some of our fried items like egg rolls and crepes, yes we do use clear oil which has soybean and canola. Hope this helps

Got 3 appetizers. A shu mai, fried pork spring rolls, and the fresh spring rolls. All delicious. We ordered a pho meatball meal which was a huge portion. They were very generous with the meat serving. We also ordered a pork chop vermicelli bowl and a seafood noodle soup. The pork chop was darker than I thought but it was marinated perfectly allowing the flavors to come through. The seafood noodle soup had a great broth and came out piping hot. This is located in the plaza near the Boynton Mall, so it was great for my errands afterward. I stopped in around 12pm and there was no one there but the service was so welcoming and nice. I decided to order the pho with the well done eye round beef with all of the fixings. It came out pretty fast - and it looked so delicious. It was flavorful, I could not get enough of it. The beef was very tender and not rubbery at all. The addition of the fresh veggies and herbs were the chef's kiss. They provide a generous amount of broth and meat, so I was not complaining at all. I felt like they took amazing care of me and ensuring I was satisfied with my meal. This was some of the best pho I've had that left me wanting to come back very soon. Literally brought me back to life for the rest of the day. Tip: Make sure you sit outside during this South Florida winter weather to enjoy this warm bowl of pho.

I don't think I ever would have found it while driving by -- except that I saw it on Yelp. There is ample parking in the lot out front. There are a couple other restaurants in the same center that I'll check out in the future. There is plenty of seating inside -- tables as well as booths. The menu has a mix of Asian cultures -- from pho to pad Thai and traditional Chinese offerings, too. My husband had a small salad to start. He wasn't that hungry so he ordered a small tom kha shrimp soup. He said was very good and had a nice amount of shrimp in it. I ordered their Singapore rice noodles. I asked for not too spicy and it had just a tad bit of curry in it. It was delicious. The portion was huge -- 3 or 4 people could have easily shared the dish. It had pork, duck, chicken, and shrimp in it along with scallions, bok choy, carrots, onions, and bean sprouts. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I have dinner for us for another day as I could only eat a small bit. This place is a keeper. There's a lot more on the menu that I'd like to try. We will definitely return.
